My husband and I eat at Oishii 2-3 times a month. We love the SMU location. The food is always excellent and consistent. We love the fried oysters, tuna and salmon sashimi, the Tribeca is probably our favorite roll. With that being said, something I’ve noticed lately, is how long it takes for our rolls to be brought to us, after they are placed on the counter. The sushi and the service here are great. One of my favorite spots in Dallas. I would say that the SMU and Wycliff location have the most uncomfortable long cushion seats (smu against the window wall) and (wycliff against the far right wall) . You sink down low and bad for posture, so I always hate when I get those tables. I'm surprised they haven't changed them out by now.

It was pretty busy and I chose to sit outside. Had the whole patio to myself and it was a little bit chilly. The staff was attentive; came to check on me, turned on the heater, and said if decided to go inside to let them know.Food and drinks came out pretty fast.
