My recent visit to Scout was transformed into an extraordinary experience thanks to the Food and Beverage Manager, Christina. From the moment we arrived, Christina was not only a host but also a guide to the Dallas area. Her extensive knowledge about the city and insights into our hotel were incredibly helpful. Her recommendations extended beyond the menu, enhancing our entire stay in the city.At the restaurant, Christina's expertise shone through every recommendation. She was respectful, kind, and exuded a warm, loving presence that made us feel right at home. Her ability to communicate effectively with both guests and her team was evident, displaying top-notch management and leadership skills. Whether she was coordinating with her staff or ensuring guests had everything they needed, Christina was always in control, ensuring a seamless experience. It was not just her knowledge of food and drinks that impressed us, but how she made every interaction personal and meaningful. Christina is a true gem at Scout Dallas, embodying the spirit of hospitality at its finest. I highly recommend visiting just for the chance to meet her and experience her exceptional service.

We had a great time at Scout while staying at the Statler. Our server was friendly and had amazing drink recommendations. We talked with the chef, Marcelus. He was amazing! The food was great and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat!

On a Sunday lunch, the food was very good. The service was lackluster, but they were understaffed. The reason for the 2 star review is the bill. They fail in the following:- Sunday discount for food was not applied until corrected.- 20% gratuity is automatically included for <6 people.- 3.99% Customer Assistance charge was added to the bill. When asked what this is, it's a credit card processing fee that would be taken-off if paying cash. Who carries cash in 2024? This is at a hotel where prices are already high. This was also applied before the food discount was applied (though not on the auto-gratuity). I never saw a sign at the entrance nor on the menu that an extra charge would be applied for credit card use. As such, I find this tantamount to surprise and hidden fees and would not expect this at a Dallas restaurant.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Statler and even if I don't stay there when in town (I prefer to, but they're often booked up), I frequent the restaurant and bars EVERY time. This visit, though, Scout was an all around terrible experience. I'm usually at Bourbon & Banter, or on the roof, but this time we wanted to hang out at Scout before hitting the downtown bars. That decision impeded our evening plans in the biggest of ways. The bartenders had the worst attitudes imaginable and the drinks were awful, despite not being very busy, especially for a Saturday evening. We decided to cut our losses and move on with the night, but that apparently wasn't possible. It took us 2 hours to pay our tabs.

Birthday Party for my 18 year old daughter. Great atmosphere. Staff was very pleasant and everyone on the staff was fun and friendly. The manager was awesome and made sure everyone was happy in my party. Last minute reservation and accomodations were made by the manager.

I came here for work about 3 times now and they've provided a buffet style dinner that's probably different than their standard fare. I remember not being very impressed the past few years, but this year, I thought it improved including this lettuce head dish that had toppings on top. A surprise standout was their creme brulee. It's very custardy and creamy.
