Stopped here for lunch and we had a variety of tacos. Everything was excellent, some of the best tacos we've had in the Dallas area and it was very inexpensive. Loved their chips and guacamole too!

Population the management and the staff treated us very good considering that your other restaurant wouldn't see this it was 10 to 15 of us our tab was over $800 and we do it every Sunday little upset that your restaurant across the street couldn't handled are group and very rude to us

Great place for Mexican in West Village. It's a fun, casual environment in a convenient location, perfect for a happy hour or for a meal! I love the Mambo Taxi drink. The endless chips and salsa were great. We also got queso and guac to share, which were both very good!

This cute Taco Diner was a cute find in the area. If you're looking for drinks and a cute bite in the area, it's perfect. The service was great and on top of the ambience won me over. The chicken quesadilla personally was alright.

I remember coming to Taco Diner around 2 decades ago when it first opened. It still is lively and delicious like I remembered it. Taco Diner is located south of the parking structure at West Village. I had started with the Jalapeño-Agave Margarita but regretted my decision. I think my friend's drinks were better including the Mambo Taxi and the Frozen Paloma. The drink that I had gave me a good little buzz to really enjoy my meal even though it was a little tough to drink. We had ordered some ceviche de camarones which was excellent. We also had the chips and salsa which was delicious. I couldn't stop eating the chips as they were that good. The waiter didn't listen carefully as we ordered chips and guacamole, but got chips and salsa instead. Then, I ordered some tacos from the waiter's recommendation including the crispy shrimp taco. I think that suggestion was awful as it was not good. The waiter again did not listen to my order carefully as I ordered the bistec taco and got the brisket instead. The al pastor taco was good though like how they prepare it in Mexico City. The ambiance was great and the food was overall great, but the deduction of a star was due to the spotty service. Our server was nowhere to be found when wanting to pay for the bill, but also messing up my order is not acceptable. However, since I was catching up with friends, I was distracted with great company.

Taco diner was great! I conveniently order online and it was ready in 20 minutes. They have takeout down to a science. I got the elote and the brisket taco. Both were delicious. Definitely will be going back!!
