“Same 5 stars here. Was searching for fried chicken and was drawn to the reviews. They are right! When we have leftovers I warm them up in the microwave then a few minutes in the air fryer, good as new. It's hard to stop eating them. We are hooked. Hope this place stays just as it is. “This is a General Store/ Gas Station/ Subway combo. We stopped to use the restroom and buys snacks. They have fairly clean restrooms. They bathrooms are single room toilets with a men’s room and women’s room. The women’s room had a changing station. The toilets are regular toilets not auto flush if you or a family member is sensitive to auto flushing toilets. A sink, soap and air dryer.The store seems pretty well organized and they have Blue Bell ice cream, some hot items, soda fountain dispenser with many choices, and lots of stack, chips, and candy.A good place to stop, get gas, air for your tires, and food or snacks. Pretty average and okay. Seemed safe enough.“

“Had the best curbside service. I made my online order in the parking lot. Then made my way to number one online order curbside pickup.Before my order was done they brought me out my soda. Within minutes my order came out fresh and hot. The sweet and spicy burger is phenomenal. Something about sweet and spicy. As I ate my food in the parking spot, a manager came outside and asked if everything was okay. Then asked if my passenger (my dog) would like an ice cream. That was the selling point for me. This Whataburger did an outstanding job today, and deserves some good credit.“

“Much better than before. It really makes a difference when the server says more than "Here," when you've paid and gotten your food. The new people must have realized that if customers didn't come back, they might not have a job in the future and the restaurant doesn't really pay you, it's the customers.“

“Super impressed with this location! They forgot our marinara sauce for our garlic knots and breadsticks and we didn't notice until we got home. They were at our house within 10min to deliver it to us even though we are technically out of their delivery location. Excellent customer service!“

“Best fried chicken in DS area , the staff are friendly and welcoming always.The dinning area is always very clean . I love the golden crispy chicken tenders , which is hard to find and white gravy and to top it off they have the best sweet tea most certainly my favorite chicken joint in the hill country area.“

“This sonic location has the best cherry limeade’s – get size medium - of any sonic I have ever been too!Sonic ice is the best! And you can’t beat half-price, happy hour drinks or half-price drinks on the app. This is my go to shopping refreshment.“

“Its not boujie. But as far as fast food goes. It's probably one of the best. This location always has the ice cream machine working, they make fries fresh and their timing it's very consistent. People are nice when they take your order and to be fair I have a complicated order cause I modify my burger a lot and they are always on point. Definitely recommend if you are looking for fast food.“

“The food is consistent which is good. You always know what you’re going to get. The employees are nice. Most of our problems are in the bench seats where I notice many busy their knees on the benches, can’t get the seats out and sit on them without blocking others walking by, and they’re difficult to put back in. I’m glad though that they fix their gates quickly because it seems kids are always breaking them. Twice though I’ve noticed there being broken gates but no one had used other means to keep them closed. Toddlers were running into the street constantly on that day and with parents being unable to see around the playscape, it made it pretty scary. Heating is another issue. There’s heaters on cold days but it seems like they’re only in one spot. All of the parents were trying to find tables that had consistent heat so we all tried to find chairs at about three tables that had heat but didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. No chairs available inside and even if we went inside, we wouldn’t be able to see our kids outside. The trash cans are constantly overflowing with no employee able to break away to clean them out until the crowd has slowed down. Trash blowing in the wind, trash all over the ground, trash cans covered in ketchup. Needing more trash cans or someone designated to check constantly.New Edit: They really need to take some effort in cleaning the gross grime buildup on the tables and chairs. You can see hand oil, food oils, and dirt in layers on the chairs. It’s disgusting.“
