Don't miss these Dripping Springs Mexican restaurant gems.
“As soon as I walked up, I could hear Tejano blasting which honestly we need to hear to know where Mexican food is. You'd pass but then if they kept it quiet. Drip lacks good Mexican food and desperately needs a restaurant. Raza's is close enough to a brick and mortar and better than expected. They took that extra mile to make the presentation a lasting impression even with takeout. The guys were courteous when taking my order. When Raza first started, I recall a bigger menu that could be overwhelming but now they've cut a lot of dishes out to make it simpler and all you need to really decide on is which meat you want. Don't worry because they have flavor in everything. Think of something as flavorful as birria but in every meat. We ordered almost one of everything. The only thing I wish was different was more for the price you get in fried burritos. They're small and won't fill a man nor a man child up. Get a regular burrito if you like to be stuffed. Their salsas? Absolutely take advantage of them. They not only have a kick but they have flavor. There's a small taco shack in town people love but they're not great and seem to ride on the spice of their salsas. No flavor though. Raza has both and the food knocks you out. Grab a drink next door, sit and eat until you're full. The addition I'd put in the bag is a small bag of fresh chips and salsa. That'll really bring in more people because who doesn't love free fresh chips and homemade salsa while you wait or when you start your meal. Skip El Rey and their sewage smelling restaurant and go here.“
“Just ordered an Asada Torta from here for the first time and it was perfect. Tender and perfectly seasoned asada on a large roll with onions, cilantro, avocado, and a little mayo. It’s the best one I’ve had in Texas! Their “mild” green sauce is tasty but has a decent kick so get it on the side. The staff was friendly and everything looked clean. Highly recommend De La O Kitchen!“
“We enjoyed the spicy shrimp tacos & chicken fajita quesadilla. The quesadilla is made with Oaxaca cheese and it comes with chips and salsa. Location is amazing! It's a great place to hang out with friends and family. Ghost Note offers a great selection of beer. I will bring my family next time!“
“One word.. AMAZING!! We stopped for a quick lunch and stayed for hours. This place has everything. The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and the drinks were so good. And this place is family friendly! Our kids spent most of the time in the sand pit and on the playground. We even played a round of mini golf and threw some darts!! I HIGHLY recommend this place and I wish we would have found it sooner on our trip because we would have gone back again! Thank you!“
“Today my partner and I went here for the first time after being referred by locals on nextdoor in regards to who has the best breakfast in town. We were not disappointed at all. The portions were big, the food was fresh and delicious, the staff was nice and unlike most of the time when I eat a breakfast burrito with eggs, I didn't end up feeling all groggy or heavy or tired. I felt full and I felt good which means they use higher quality products and know how to cook things properly. 10/10 would recommend.“
“The food is always wonderful. Service is great & the atmospher is perfect. I dine in and use take out.Parking: The parking lots at all their locations are large. You'll have no trouble parking and handicap parking available also.“
“The tacos were delicious!!! They have a touch screen to place your order which is very convenient. The gentleman at the window are very friendly as well! The tacos came out pretty fast and very well served. The place is super clean and great ambiance and lots of places to sit. It's worth it!!“
