La Espiga is the best bakery in the RGV. Their pan dulce is much better than the overhyped and overpriced Paris Bakery. Make sure to try their soft, flavorful conchas, heart shaped pan de polvo, and white bolillos. My only problem is their small parking lot that is full of pot holes.
