“There has not been a single bakery good that I haven't liked from this place. I recently purchased an Italian bread and it is just amazing! Perfect texture and taste. The peach muffins are to die for, heaven in disguise, really. I'd place a picture of it, but I finished before writing this review. It is SO good!I am looking forward to October when all the pumpkin spice and other specialities are available. Looking forward to biscottis in winter (another favorite). I feel so fortunate to live close to this bakery, as I will continue to be a regular customer.“

“First & foremost, I walked into this shop hoping to find a cookie after my meal & it was the cutest little shop ever. Only then to be greeted by the sweetest little lady & because of the amazing customer service I felt obligated to buy something. She talked me into the apple pie & let me just tell you- That was by far the best pie I’ve ever had. Recommend this place a million times over!!! She told me I’d be back once I tried it & she’s not lying!!!“

“I'm upset as I write this review. From the first bite I told myself, "Don't eat the whole thing." Half way through the slice I reminded myself, "Save some for later." Will power did not win today, but I did find a little slice of heaven at Bliss Bakery. I went with the Key Lime, and I'll be licking up crumbs until my next visit.“

“Warm hot chocolate chip cookie are amazing never disappoint. Love trying the other flavors as well, some are too sweet for my taste but I don’t regret having a taste. My coworkers and I love getting a pack of 6 and cutting the cookies into bite size for everyone to try. They are big cookies!“

“I found my new favorite bakery! I was on the hunt for a bakery to make my son's first birthday cake - I was so impressed with all of their cakes on Instagram and sent them a message. They were so quick to respond and made the process so easy! The cake and cupcakes turned out SO cute - exactly what I wanted. Not only were they beautiful, they were DELICIOUS! “Absolutely wonderful bakery! I've tried a number of their baked goods, they're all great. My husband said the German chocolate cake was the most delicious thing he ever ate. Also, I have food allergies and they are happy to check the ingredients to be certain there's no problem.“

“Really excellent experience. I asked for a galaxy themed unicorn cake and provided 2 example pictures and she made it perfect! We received so many compliments not only on the looks but the taste. “Will definitely be coming back! I had the Charaiu Chinese BBQ sandwich. Loaded with plenty of meat and the perfect amount of fresh veggies. Also tried a tropical paradise cookie - super soft and delicious! Left with a cold creamy egg coffee - also amazing!“

“First time going and I want to give my honest review.Pros - the lady attending us was super super nice. I really enjoyed her customer service and attention. Another pro is that this is a family owned business. We should support them the best way we can. But.Cons - the prices are a bit high compared to Bolillo and tepa. The cookies are also smaller in size. I got $20 worth of pan dulce while at the other locations for the same items it’s $14-$15 including bolillos.Speaking of cookies, I got two macadamia nut cookies and both were hard. Made me think they were not fresh.Got two different empanadas and they could use more stuffing.Unfortunately I have more cons than pros but I mean no harm. “It was my first time here while visiting Houston and I was so impressed!!! I ordered the fire in the hole burger, it was extremely delicious!!! The food is never frozen and the taste shows that to be true. The ingredients definitely consist of Love which is always a necessary ingredient. The atmosphere has a very homey feel to it. It is family owned and I can tell they have passion in their kitchen. Thank you so much for having me and for the outstanding experience!!!“

“I had a sleep study in the area and wanted to support a local small business for my coffee purchase when I left instead of funneling more money into Starbucks. This coffee was really good. I got the Lavender cream coffee and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. I wish they came in larger cup sizes, it was that good! The parking was a little odd but unproblematic because the liquor store next door was closed. No drive thru that I saw but that's alright. They weren't super busy when I went and the barista was nice enough. Cute "this or that" tip jars that I appreciated for the extra incentive to tip... not just a boring old tip jar with no unique qualities. I don't live in the area but if I return, I'll definitely give this place another visit.Parking: Spots in front of the shop are for to-go only. Spots to the right are designated for the liquor store only, though I think it's fine to park there when it is outside of their normal business hours.“

“By far the most friendly counter tenant I've ever come across. Her positivity and joy bled and caused me to smile at 4 o'clock in the morning. Donuts were also really good. Tenant offered to stuff my eclair with filling was the cherry on top.“

“It is indeed a hidden gem.I got the chilaquiles rojos with Guisado de Pollo. It had a great taste, spicy indeed. My only complaining was that it is only Chilaquiles and beans, anything extra it’s more.The Machacado was also delicious. Would have been nice if there were more sides included, as well for the tortilla to be homemade.The desserts looked delicious! We did end up getting 2 bread, it was good. Tasted like any bread at the bakery.Would definitely come back to try other stuff.“

“As a Louisiana native I’m very picky about my King cakes to the point where I refuse to buy one out a grocery store.A friends suggestion brought me here and I’m so glad they did, I bought the original king cake which on a scale to 10 was a definite 10. The smaller one I bought was the Bavarian cream and it’s even better. This will be my go to place for all my dessert baking needs. Do yourself a favor and stop by here.“

“We stopped in as part of the Jingle in the City Home Tour where they had free hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was good and all the treats we just had to get were good as well. I had to get a brownie which was pretty big. I don't know who they think can eat a brownie like that in one sitting (it's me), but you can give it a try.“

“Our wedding cake by Jula was perfect! The tasting appointment was our favorite wedding “task” and she was super open to doing a non-traditional cake. We went with cakes meant to look like a stack of books because we are both avid readers, and she delivered on that vintage-y leatherbound style. Plus, the cakes inside were absolutely delicious!!“

“I have been coming here since we moved to League City 6 years ago. I was sad when the original ownership sold a couple years ago afraid it would change but I'm pleased to say the level of quality both in the food and the service have stayed true to its roots! It's not run by a Mother Daughter duo and they are both lovely. Jalapeño kolache is my favorite but the fruit filled kolaches and cinnamon rolls are great too! This is a great local business.“

“Visit 2-4-2023: We went here for brunch today. I had the ham& swiss, apple, and a little of my friend's cream cheese kolache and a bit of her jolly peno pops kolache and they were all scrumptious!! My daughter got the bacon&cheese kolache and a chocolate muffin, and tried the cream cheese kolache and loved them all! We brought in bottled water but they do have coffee and sodas.“

“My son is a huge Great American Cookie Co. fan and was determined to have one for his groom’s cake at his wedding. I was hesitant at first because I really wanted him to have something that resembled more of a tiered cake. With the help of Lameka Hadnot and Monigua Murphy, at the Baybrookmall Mall store in Webster, my son and I both got what we wanted. Thank you two so much for helping to make my son’s wedding special! Y’all are the best. The cookie cake looked amazing and tasted even better.“

“Love that there’s such a great selection of sweet and savory kolaches, and they are all so good! My favorite is bacon, egg, and cheese as well as ham and cheese. The kolaches are dense — two fills me up! My only complaints are that the line is often long and the employees can seem rushed — even after warming up kolaches, they still are cool on the inside. I wish these places were a bit cozier to take a seat for dine in!Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for picky eaters!“

“As a true salvadadorian, I can say that this restaurant is very genuine! I was so happy to have found a salvadorian restaurant near me. There aren’t many salvadorian places near dickinson or league city. The food was delicious, I got the desayuno típico and it hit home.“

“This is the best Kolache factory I have ever been too. I stopped here today during spring break on the way yo Sylvan Beach and the man an woman working there aroun 1:49pm were so kind, patient, and helpful. The kolaches fresh and they heated them up for us. Will definately make stopping here a tradition.?“

“1st time visit those employees team are friendly and smiley and motivation I was picking up a fundraiser order for SHHS Cheer for my sisters cheer team and came early since it’s less busy in the mornings and I had to work tonight and they asked me “ where you work at” so I work at car wash and some thing about getting upgrades that sounds kind of exciting employees are really helpful but I don’t know what’s their name that I was talking to I wasn’t really paying attention to their name tag like around 11:15am at 10-18-2023 i’m giving them girls 5 stars that kind of makes me happy and motivating ?“

“I've been to many Donut Shops in my life, but I've never received friendly service like I did today in this shop. Usually the workers arent too friendly due to having to wake up at 3 to 4am to get the shop ready, understandable. This location was above and beyond friendly. Really made me feel like they valued my business. Kolaches are also delicious“

“My go to place for cupcakes. My family and I have been visiting throughout the years (since original location) and have tasted practically every flavor that they have to offer. Service is okay- sometimes they are friendly and other times they seem like they want to get you in and out.“

“I LOVE MY CAKE!!!The owner is very nice and helpful when I talked to her. I sent her the design I wanted and BOOM! It came out even better than the original design o_o. It was expensive, but I'd say it's very worth it for her talent.Everyone loved the cake! The vanilla sponge cake is very nice and moist, but the icing and cream is too sweet for us (will probably ask for less sweet next time). It tastes as sweet as cupcake cream. The cake also smells amazing and I didn't want to cut the cake at all :(The packaging was very cute too, she put it in a clear box and wrapped with a bow outside, super adorable!! “Today was our 1st visit and we will be back! I was in search of another local coffee shop for me and my oldest child (11) to get a change of scenery for her homeschool time, and my remote job. We live in Friendswood, this was an easy 20 minute drive. Very nice, quaint location in the heart of Pasadena; generous portion sizes on the food offerings. We both had an iced latte and she enjoyed the chocolate chip banana nut muffin - she was impressed it was fresh pieces of banana. The chorizo breakfast taco was so flavorful and well seasoned, we ended up purchasing a 2nd one. The two baristas on staff were kind and helpful and treated my daughter like an adult customer - engaging with her and calling her ma’am. She even wanted to thank them personally before we left for their great customer service. We visited for nearly 2 hours and it was a lovely escape. I know where to go now when we need another midweek change of pace.“

“If you need a cake for any occasion, this is the place! My daughter wanted a heart shaped cake for her birthday, we asked several places and they couldn't do heart shape or not enough time. Jenny's had no issue at all with doing a heart shape cake and they did a beautiful job and in a short amount of time! And the cakes are delicious on top of that. The best tasting cake ever!!!! This of course would be an understatement if I excluded the Texas Kolache. Fortunately for you, I did not. “My Mother's neighbors own this bakery and they are the nicest family. Every year they bring my Mom a beautifully decorated Italian Cream Cake for Christmas and every year it is the first thing we ask about when we get in the house - where is the cake. It is amazingly delicious and the icing is so light it just melts in your mouth! If I lived closer I would be there all the time buying cakes for every occasion.“
