Not a good experience. Went at 615pm, door locked, almost gave up but was invited in through patio door. No one else there, no music for about 30 minutes, awkward environment.Order at the bar, couldnt get a glass of wine, only an unknown price bottle, ordered a tecate, didn’t have, ordered a Dos Equis, got a modelo…not a big deal but bad startAl pastor tacos were solid, fish tacos way to salty, ceviche was decentI think a fair price would have been 50ish, spent 70 before tip.I would not recommend this place, the ambiance was very awkward, food was okay, price unfair and unlisted. Maybe this place was great in the past and people tolerated price/order a the bar and get your own water/drinks/food. But food quality is not good enough for that.

Food is average for the price and counter service. Fish tacos were way over salted for $9 each. Do not hesitate to ask for prices as it is not listed on the menu. Other options in the area that are much better value.

Wow! Just wow! Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was on point! Ceviche was amazing! Flavor profiles were balanced and fresh. So impressed!Side note, it’s counter service, so you order at the counter and then seat yourself. A few reviews mentioned not being acknowledged when they entered the restaurant. There’s no clear signage explaining the counter service and I think that’s why people say the service isn’t stellar. We had great service at the counter.

Best carnitas in El Paso, hands down. Which would be awesome if this place was ever open. 6:20pm on a Friday and you're closed? Must be nice to run a restaurant and just show up whenever you want!

We had the fish tacos and blue crab tacos that were in season, and they were absolutely delish. Cocktails are great as well!

Really good food, service is kinda weird, but don’t be afraid to ask for prices and how things cooked. My mom ordered the lobster, it was deep fried, over cooked, and overall just not good and it ended up being 100$ dollars just for that one lobster. I don’t know how you can ruin lobster that bad. But again everything else was really good and around 10$ per item.

So we wanted to try it for the first time. Wegot there on Saturday at 8 pm and it took them a moment to even acknowledge us. It was 6 of us and they told max is 4 people. The restaurant was literally empty, only one table with 2 adults and 3 children. I asked him if they could make and exception since it was pretty much empty and they said no, and to check their IG page. I asked if kids didn’t count and he said no. Well his page does say no parties of 5 but it should say no parties of more than 4, their IG page also says NO CHILDREN, and there was 3 at the only table occupied. So if you have more than 3 friends or a family with children, please go somewhere else and save your self a bad moment and terrible service.

To start, this place is open. The people are cool. Ordered nachos with Al pastor as, an appetizer. Holy hell! Best Al pastor I've ever had. Best nachos I've ever had. Great queso, roasted poblano peppers, pickled red onions, thinly sliced jalapeños for delicate touches of heat. I mean, honestly, these nachos are the most balanced appetizer I've ever eaten. If you do t try them, you'll regret it.My wife ordered the short rib cheeseburger with creamed poblano rice. The cheese burger had that magnificent crunchy cast iron crust. The cheese was perfectly melted. The bun was soft, moist, and brilliantly toasted. Easily top two burgers I've had in El Paso. It was magnificent. The creamed poblano rice was... imagine the rice you get at Cattleman's Steak House, but half a dozen steps up from there. Outstanding. I had the Cubano and the mushroom chips. The pork on the cubano was so well seasoned. The ham was explosively good. The cheese just made it a masterpiece. The bun was just as incredible as the one on my wife's burger. Never had a cubano before. When I have another one, anywhere else, it will be judged harshly, compared to this one. This cubano is fan-friggin-tastic. The mushroom chips are portobello caps sliced, battered in exquisitely seasoned tempura and fried to absolute perfection. There was an expertly applied amount of chopped cilantro on them as well. They were so good, I forgot that they came with an awesome ranch-like dipping sauce. Honestly, the best food putting in years. I know the economy sucks right now, but get off your biscuits and get out here to give it a try. We had drinks and desserts I've not even mentioned. We got our desserts to go. $50 a person for the whole damned thing. You can do the shared route and make it cozy and more affordable. It's a damned good experience for your face. Great food, good lighting, and some closeness. You won't regret it. Budget or no budget. GO! I'm already looking for an excuse to come back.

The food and service are usually good here but on Saturday the food was waaayyy over salted! The cook and everyone in the kitchen must have salted the food over and over again. We ordered calabacitas, tacos al pastor, ribeye tacos all OVERSALTED! I love salt so this says a lot. Then when we asked for water we didn’t get it they were too busy paying attention to a table of “foodies”. We also had beverages which were ok but I ordered Tito’s club soda with lime not “Ranchwater” which is just super sour. With a 97$ tab and we always tip over 20% this was pretty disappointing.(Hey chef taste your food).

The food is incredible and the owners are amazing people! The BIG downside is that the employees never open on time when the owners aren’t there. Just tonight I showed up 45 minutes after opening time. The door was locked and the young lady at the front saw me arrive but ignored me for a few minutes until the cook came to unlock the door. I was told they’d be opening in 30 more minutes. When I returned 40 minutes later the door was locked and the restaurant lights were turned off. I knocked and called a few times because I could see the cook was in the back kitchen area but no one answered. Again, the food is delicious but unfortunately, you never know when they’re truly open or not because of the inconsistency.

Online says they open at 5pm and the doors are locked and it looks closed at 515. Looks like previous reviews have had the same issue. Skip this place. It's not worth the hassle of a business can't open at their posted times. Do better

It says that they are open at 5 and we were there at 5.32 and the door was locked. We asked a guy at the back door when they will be open and he said in about 45 minutes. So, we waited in the car and we went back to keep on checking the door twice and they were still locked. At 7 pm, we finally decided to take off and saw some people on the back door to ask if they were going to open but a lady told us that they won’t be open. We waited 1.5 hours just for them to open but they weren’t even going to open. They need to be more active on their store hours online or at least post updates on their instagram page.

Great food if you are lucky to catch it open, hit or miss if the staff wants to open the door, even if they are inside they will tell you almost ready and then decide not to open and just leave. Also the menu items might or not be available, no prices on the menu so just be surprised on the amount on the check.

So my partner has been talking about a 3-way, and I've been hesitant until I went to Valentine's. Funny thing when we got there they didn't want a 3-way, they decided on a paloma (I'm talking about drinks, get your mind out of the gutter). Both were worth doing again. We had tacos, rib-eye, carnitas, and tripas. First, these are true bonus tacos, don't eat the 2nd blue corn tortilla with the first. Save it to catch the ample fillings. The tripas had the perfect crunch and the red sauce has a tasty kick, topped with onion cilantro. The carnitas were nicely seasoned topped with pickled onion and paired with a lovely verde sauce. The rib-eye was the star, seasoned well, cooked to perfection, topped with crema, cilantro, and paired with verde. Of course we had to try the churros and cheesecake. Churros were nice, but the cheesecake, the cheesecake, omg... the cheesecake is thick, creamy, perfect texture. They pair it with a house cream with dehydrated strawberries. I'm in heaven, pure bliss.Slight cons - tables inside were sticky, we moved a few times and finally went outside, which was perfect. Food as good as this cost, so be willing to pay. But with the portions and today's economy I think it was worth it. Two of us left with our bellies bursting.
