“I've tried thousands of restaurants around the metroplex, and I have yet to find anyone that can top Dewey's. My family feels the same way. When I come home from work the kids yell, "Dew-weys! “My family love to go to Starwood cafe for yummy breakfast! They have good selection of breakfast items like any other breakfast/brunch places. I wouldn't say they have a special item that you have to order, but everything we ordered were fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. The server checked on us several times to refill our coffees and to make sure we were having a nice meal. Definitely recommend! Nice addition to our neighborhood!“

“Quick and efficient service. It's a great place for a business lunch. I just wished the windows were tainted as the outside light was intense. It was also relatively noisy there - people talking out loud. It's definitely more like a cafe and not a sit-down restaurant.“

“I’ve been to this location several times, and I’m always impressed by their food as well as service. Today my server, Kirsten, did a wonderful job answering questions, anticipating needs and was extremely friendly. As I was a table of one, I had slightly anticipated feeling rushed, but that never happened. I’ve mostly been here in the past with four kids, and still, impeccable service. I highly recommend for an enjoyable breakfast or lunch!Kid-friendliness: They have an outside playground for the kiddos just off the patio so parents can watch while eating.“

“We have been going to Luckys for 15+ years for breakfast. We used to go quite a bit when we lived at Southside but not so much since we moved to the country. I have gotten to go there several times in the last couple of weeks. It's been a real treat the quality of the food and the service is still beyond anything I can find in the central Dallas area. Ask for biscuits before you start. Eat them plain with butter or like I do butter and strawberry jam. Ask for a pancake on the side, you can split it if you want, it's pretty big. I stay away from the cinnamon butter they give you and just use butter and syrup. I hope you get a chance... it will reset your standard.“

“I’ve been coming to this place for 20 years. The John Wayne plate has cured hangovers that would kill a mule and the coffee is dark as midnight plus it keeps coming until you’re jittering so hard you can’t hold the mug!Seriously though, the nicest folks serving fresh made food in a laid back atmosphere. “It’s a cool idea. A bit commercialized for me. If you’re a tourist this is the spot for you ! If you’re more of a coffee quiet connoisseur might not be the spot for you. Lots of traffic and coffee is alright. Tasted a bit off for my taste. Cinnamon roll tasted microwaved. This place just wasn’t for me and you’d know Alex the macchiato guys taste by now.“

“5/5. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs and it was solid. I liked the Shrimp and Grits better though. But the Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes and the French toast….will have me coming back EVERY SINGLE TIME. It is so good and The patio is amazing. I would say it’s only worth to come here for the patio. They have a beautiful garden outside that supplies their herbs and vegetables. And I believe our servers name was Holden and he was great! We added on French toast late and he made it happen to where we only waited a few minutes. For peace of mind, I would make a reservation if coming on the weekend.“

“I ordered takeout so I cannot speak on the service or the ambience. However, the food was good. Those garlic cheesy potatoes were 100% perfect. They didn't need any additional seasoning quite literally cooked to perfection. The croissant was a bit dark for me so I didn't taste much of the buttery (that's in the description) but the sandwich has a whole was pretty decent I could've just ordered a plate of potatoes and been happy.“

“My first time here. Music was wonderful. Carpenters and Burt Baccarat covers. Musicians were great.Loved the atmosphere.I was disappointed in service. I sat at one of the only two barstools. They forgot about me. And didn’t know how to make a basic cocktail.For dessert they only had white cake and ice cream. This place screams for Tiramusu or a rich chocolate dessert. Zest Cafe is a super cute corner cafe, that is open, bright and lively. The staff was very nice and were well equipped to manage a full restaurant. They were very accommodating as our large party consisted of gifts, a cake and booster seats.We snacked on a sampler platter of almond croissants, kouign-amann, and apple cinnamon muffins. The croissant was a little dry, but the muffin and the kouign-amann were moist and delicious. We also shared plates of the edamame hummus and deviled eggs that were both really good.I thoroughly enjoyed the lavender st. Germain spritz and the togarashi tuna and ancient grain salad.“

“Great location, right near the Katy trail, so you can take your coffee and walk or sit at one of their many indoor or outdoor tables. I tried a vanilla matcha latte and a latte on tap. The latte being on tap was cool, and it could be served instantly. It wasn't too sweet, so if you're a sweet coffee lover I would add some flavor. The matcha was fantastic, it wasn't overly earthy like some can be. Of all the coffee shops I've been to in the area, this is definitely my favorite!“

“My husband and I fell in love with this place when we first found it a couple months back. So for our wedding anniversary we decided to come back! The food is spectacular and the service is always fantastic. Today Daniel was our server and he made us feel so welcome, made sure we were well taken care of and all in all made our wedding anniversary breakfast a wonderful experience. “If you're ever looking for selections of kolaches, here's your spot! The owner is the sweetest lady and she works every day to make these. I'm still working my way through the options, but my favorites are the Philadelphia cheese steak and the BBQ so far. But I've enjoyed all the ones I've had! I asked her about getting a big order for the office as this is on my way to work and she said she just needs 3 day notice. I can't wait to share! “When you walk into this restaurant it feels warm and inviting. The service was fair but not outstanding. We started with the escargot (not my favorite, was way too buttered and just left a film in my mouth, the steak tartare was excellent as was the oysters. We ordered the roasted chicken which was flavorful and moist. Didn't even use the gravy for it. We also had the striped bass which was done very well. I like their patio which was easy and relaxed.“

“We have been looking for a good Cuban eatery and found this one. When we try new places we usually share dishes so this was no different. We had the Cuban nachos, Picadillo empanadas and a Cubano sandwich. The empanada appetizer came with a delicious, slightly spicy garlic salsa. The nachos were plantain chips with picadillo beef and cilantro lime sauce which I asked for in the side. Cilantro tastes like soap to me so it’s not my favorite. The Cubano was my favorite. It was so flavor full and dipping it in the house chimichurri sauce made it even better. Even the ice tea was perfect. Highly recommend this spot and we will visit again next time we are in Carrollton.“

This gem of a independent business utilizes, a high-performance espresso machine enhanced with top notch beans to brew all kinds of excellent , as a three decade, long, aficionado, Espresso , I have tried scores of cups of espresso at some of the top espresso cafés in USA and Europe. Sadly many of these cafés actually end up serving very bitter espresso, amazingly Cary's is able to brew espresso and serve it in legit. ceramic espresso, cups. The espresso itself radiates a perfect Crema and has the smoothest taste of the many Espresso's. I have tried over the three decades. One can get Espresso, latte, cappuccino, and macchiato options, Cary's offers an usually diverse, extensive, and hard to find tea options. Look at the photos to see all the coffee flavor and tea options available. On top of this Cary's, makes variations of potato soup, other soups and breakfast food options.This highly imaginative, incredibly diverse and reasonably priced independent business deserves huge amounts of support and patronizing by those of us Lewisville Reeves make an effort to at least visit and patronize this business..“

“I was in the area for lunch time and didn’t know what to eat. I was looking around and saw the reviews and thought ok the place doesn’t really scream I’m here but everyone seems to like it so I gave it a chance. It was great. Menu was simple which I appreciate. I had the sea food / cucumber and tomato salad & the Caesar salad. The portion was giant. All the food was flavorful. The staff was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more!“

“Been coming here for lunch for years. Solid garlic bread, and fresh warm bread. Can't ever go wrong with the Combo platter (Chicken Parmigiano and Fettuccine Alfredo) or Tuscan Style Ribeye (basically a chicken fried steak but with an amazing white sauce.)“

“Always a great place to come for brunch on the weekends. It’s always busy and your party must all be present to be sat. We normally sit at the bar. The specialty coffees are so good! I always get the lavender honey latte and it is just the perfect amount of flavor. The menu is vast so it can be challenging to pick. This time we got the hash brown bowl and the breakfast tacos. We get something different each time we go and it’s always good. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There is plenty of street parking surrounding the restaurant. There are steps to get up to the door with hand rails. All in all we have been here many times and will continue to return.“

“Parks is a cool facility a bit touristy but a fun place to hang out. There's big windows everywhere so you can be nosy and look at all that's going on like the processing of the coffee and the coffee education classes. “Rainbow bagels are only available on the weekends Friday-Sunday first come first serve. We got there about 9am on a Sunday and they had a good amount left. I got the blueberry cream cheese and you could tell that the cream cheese was handmade/fresh blueberries were included. It was soo good! During the workweek- I will swing by and get their bagel sandwiches and they are so tasty! I love the bacon, egg and cheese ! Overall great little bagel spot to stop into !“

Other customers were upper middle class and kind. They were out of rings with strawberry frosting, but the lady squirted some on a glazed for me, no problem ? Donut holes were hot and fresh. “I love Merit for my post-church coffee run! the staff are always kind and will start up conversation easily. they seem super caring, regardless of their tough workload. As for their coffee, there's a whole lot of options. Their unwashed cold brew is so good, you don't need any sugar or milk!!! Their espresso is great, and they have their own specialty beans which is pretty cool. The London Fog is my fave tea- they do it a LOT better than starbucks. my only complaint is that it is sometimes dirty and understaffed. This can def stress out the poor amazing employees. regardless, Merit is 5 stars in my book!“

“My wife had been here several times before but this was my first time.Initially I was going to have pasta but settled on a margarita pizza. The Neapolitan style pizza was a good choice. Healthy amounts of fresh mozzarella topped the pizza. Very little basil. My son had the carbonara pasta and I had a taste. That was a good choice. My wife had the seafood risotto which I didn’t think was that great. I thought it was a bit bland and I thought the rice was a bit overcooked.Would go back again and I’d like to try some of their desserts.“

“Building is 1904 build, it does not make the food in house due to age of building, they staff and atmosphere was great. The food was good too, considering it was pre-made, I’m guessing off site somewhere and probably early in the morning before opening the restaurant.“

“I go to a lot of boba places for my girlfriend and always try to get something for myself too, which is difficult since I’m not a fan of teas or boba really. Normally I’ll go for a coffee, and even though there were no options other than a coffee milk tea, the man working was very accommodating and made me a delicious iced coffee. Girlfriend loved her boba as well. Prices also the best of any boba place I’ve been to. Great place!“
