“I came with my family for my dad's birthday and the dinner was amazing. We asked our server Esther for recommendations and she recommended the boiled pork belly, seafood pancake, pork backbone hot pot, and mungbean with brisket. Everything tasted so good! We loved the food and the service. Definitely chose a great spot especially for a birthday dinner.“

“My partner and I LOVED this place! We ate here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is quaint and the owner (I think) quickly greeted us. We asked what were his favorites, and he suggested two things which we ordered (katsu and something like a loco moco but I'm not sure if that's what it's called on the menu) and we are glad we got them! I've never had katsu in this style before but I was definitely a convert.... Something about the batter to me is way better than your standard Japanese style katsu. It was light and crispy and perfect! We'll definitely come back again because this katsu has become my favorite.“

“The owner is EXTREMELY friendly. You can tell he truly loves what he does and you can taste the love in every bite! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very calm and pleasant music was playing, everything is reasonably priced for the quality of the food. I will definitely be coming back and if you love dumplings you don’t want to miss out on this place!“

“Damasita is affordable, has an atmosphere that's pleasant and cozy, and most importantly, has excellent food. The portion sizes are huge for the price, and every bite is delicious. I had the stirfried squid with pork belly rice bowl, and it was fantastic. I don't even like eggs, but I ate the egg. The sauce was sweet, spicy, and salty, the rice was fluffy, and even the dressing on the lettuce was fantastic.“

“The chicken was good. However, I like mine fried hard but other than that it was seasoned well. If you’re not one who likes your chicken fried hard it’ll be perfect. I tried the lemon pepper wings and Parmesan fries.I got a 10 piece and fries AND PAID $20 and change, no drink. At least wingstop comes with a drink and a dipping sauce. I think the price could be lower but may be due to the current inflation in the world. The location surprised me. It’s inside of the Lewisville mall. However, you would enter through a grocery store that is now attached to the mall. Inside is a small food court.“

“We had such a great experience here!! The food was so fresh and delicious! They definitely have one of the best kimchi recipes I’ve ever had. Our party of 4 ordered mul naengmyeon, galbitang, and the gejang. We mainly came for the gejang but it was all so phenomenal!! We had great service as well. Even as they were busy, they were still able to keep up with us with two servers on the floor.“

“I really enjoyed this place. They have variety of options for the kimbop and gives you the perfect amount. Their Tteokbboki is by far the best one in town. Also, the lady who works there is on top of everything. I ordered tteokbboki and kimbop that wasnt ready yet. She gave us fishcake soup in a cup while waiting to sip on and gave us plastic bag after we had some left overs even when we didnt ask for it, she was already prepared everything for us.“

“The most comfortable, pleasant experience here. Food is of course great, tastes so natural and all side dishes are so authentic, especially the portion of meat is huge. I have never seen that much meat on my Seolleongtang. Above all, the staff is one of kindest people I have ever met in any restaurants. Thank you so much.“

“It was a cold evening and I wanted something warm. Because I had never been here before, I asked for recommendations, and they recommended either seafood, chicken, or beef soup. I ordered seafood soup and it was amazing. It was the best seafood tofu soup that I have ever eaten. I will recommend this place to anyone.“

“my new favorite spot in carrollton!! this was the most satisfying meal I have had in a long time. you ALWAYS judge a korean restaurant by their side dishes. and they were all 10/10. I cannot even fully put my experience here into words. everything was amazing so I don't even need to go into detail. the gukbap is super comforting and has so much flavor. I will say the cheong guk jang is definitely an acquired taste, so for korean food beginners, try something else on the menu instead haha. the spicy pollack cold noodles is a perfect combination of spicy and sweet and the noodles were chewy and perfectly cooked. the dried pollock was soooo umami and delicious--not too salty. the ONE complaint i have is that the restaurant doesn't smell great. not sure if it was just that day. however, i will be visiting this spot EVERY time i return to texas!!“

“I went to this restaurant to try soy raw marinated crab for the first time. i also ordered the fried half of a chicken. the fried chicken was tender crispy and fresh. The raw crab came for each person came with a bowl of rice for each person and a smaller bowl of seaweed also one for each person. The crab wasn't as good as the videos online showed it to be but i still found it quite delicious. overall a good place to hang out with friends/ family“

“You know it's great when you have mom in the back cooking an original recipe!!! Tried other KFC's in the area, and they can't compare to Toridori. I love fried chicken, but not that much until I tried their KFC, and now I'm hooked on going to this place regularly now. Boba, kimichi fries, curly fries, and more. Also, I never tried kimichi fries, but it didn't disappoint! I've had fried chicken from Italians, southern and Mexican, and I don't even miss them. I know my family and friends loved it too! Nice employees, relaxed spaced seating with a tall roof, makes it a decent place to study or hang out with friends. Great family run business!??“

“I love this place, the porridge is so good. It's also not a crowded place. I don't live in Dallas, but every time I come visit Dallas, I always make sure to come here during my visit. The porridge is different here than all the porridge I've ever eaten. It always comes out hot and fresh, although the wait is kind of long, it's worth it once your bowl comes out. No complaints, it's a small building only run by a few staff so be patient with them. I recommend coming here during cold season, always hits the spot.“

“The chicken katsu sandwich was so good! I didn't know it came with a lot of sauce so I ordered a side of curry which I didn't need.I might try ordering it without the sandwich sauce next time and dipping it in curry instead but the sauce on the sando was really good.“

“Visited this place from out of town with friends and ordered the smash burger, the honeymelon boba, the mango shake and shared the boneless chicken. Reasonably priced and food was tasty. Highly recommend the mango shake. Only drawback is that the dining hall isn't very big.“

“Why is the food so cheap relative to it’s quality? I wish this place was closer to where I livedEdit: When I first went here, this place was amazing. It lost its charm when they got rid of the waitress and replaced her with a kiosk that asks for tips. You shouldn’t ask for tips if I have to bus my own tray and clean up after eating. If I need anything, I have to go to the pick up area and ask the kitchen staff through the window. Please bring back the waitress“

“Ari is the go-to place for KBBQ in the DFW.Def more popular and americanized than most of the other kbbqs but still true to the authenticity. Sometimes the wait could be up to an hour depends when you go. We like to order the marinated short rib and the finger meats. Jowl is also really good but normally it's just two of us so def great when you come with a group! Nobody talks about it but their soybean soup is really goooood - my favorite around. There is an upstairs bar so if there's a wait you can grab a few drinks before dinner.Yeah, I'm a regular. Can't you tell? K bye.“

“The side dishes are so delicious that I go here every time I go to Dallas. I really like the combination of pig’s feet and makkimchi. It’s better than the jokbal restaurant. We live in the countryside, so we buy a lot at once, and they always provide great service and are very kind. The seasoned crab sauce is delicious, so I buy it often.“

“The food and drinks were so good! I got the cheesy potato dog! Drinks are super good, I like the Kiwi lemonade and the Thai tea! genuinely the best I’ve ever had. “Came here for the big soups, realized they’re big for a party of 2 so tried other options. Had the spicy pork, bibimbap, and a dumpling soup. The Bibimbap was the best as it had plenty of the toasty burnt rice that stick to the pan. The place has good parking being in a shopping strip. They have tables and booths for seating. Is not too big and not too small. Coming back for a soup!!“

“I read a bunch of nice reviews of this place so I decided to check it out with my mom today. The complimentary side dishes were so well seasoned and delicious and the original flavor of pork ribs were amazing. The ribs were sweet and spicy with a smoky flavor. Absolutely delicious! We live out of town but we’ll definitely come back here with the rest of our family.“

“Tasty meat, but small portions for the price. They had options where you can order meat groups depending on the size of your party. Each dish was a split of 2 to 3 pieces between our party of 3. It didn't really fill us up, so we had to order more.We thought we were going to be able to cook, but the server did it all for us. Which I mean, it could be a good thing or bad. We just felt a little rushed.Atmosphere is not bad, medium size restaurant. Quite enough, where you can hear the person next to you talk. Parking was okay, not plenty, but easy to find one.The food itself was good. Nice quality pork and beef meats. Although the kimchi soup did come out bubbling and hot. I didn't like the kimchi as it was a bit too sour for my taste. I would come back here if I was eating alone, but with a group, the portions sizes are not worth it.“

“Best Tofu Soup in DFW.One of Korean's comfort food is soondubu. I personally like the Seafood Beef one and my partner gets the Fish Organs. We recently tried the Fish Egg --- and I lowkey really liked the flavor but the texture was a bit grainy bc of the fish eggs.Anyways - their banchans always hits. The clear one is their acron jelly, love how light it is.Sometimes we order kalbi if we want some more protein - pretty good.“

“Omg I love this place soooo much. I found it looking for a place that serves dolsot bibbimbap, and I found a true gem. The bibbimbap is great, and their soybean paste stew is also to die for as well as the bulgogi. The service is wonderful. They are happy to answer questions for you about the menu if you're not sure how it works, and once when my husband was curious about a side item but wasn't sure, they just threw it in for free so he could try something new. I've brought several people here and look forward to going again!“

“Ive had korean bbq at several places in the DFW area and this is the only one I've felt compelled to review. Everything was phenomenal. We got the $200 combo for 4 people and we all agreed this was one of the best meals any of us has had PERIOD. Obviously not inexpensive but if your feeling adventurous and celebrating, I highly recommend.“

“The lady at the counter was super nice and friendly, but the egg garlic toast sandwich I got was amazing! It was fluffy and airy, and was very filling. It’s such a simple sandwich, but it was so good. Definitely recommend this place if you’re at Zion Market or in the area.“
“Order before you sit and put away your dishes after you are done. Tip is optional when you pay. Unpretentious and modest Korean Chinese dishes. I had the tangsuyuk with the sweet \u0026 sour sauce and jjampong, which is the spicy seafood noodles. Front desk lady is really friendly!“

“One of the best kbbq in town. Service was great, so was the side dish and meat quality. Cooking over charcoal makes the best taste better, for real. You know you are in the right spot when there's actually older Korean customers in there. Will definitely go back. There has not a big table for more then 6. But they said they are renovating and should have that capacity in October. It's a write your name on the paper type of reservation place. Will definitely go back.Update....... More seating, better ventilation, good quality meat, tons of banchan. Yes, a little more expensive but you do get what you pay for.“

“This place is great! Saw it on Instagram took my wife on a date and it was awesome. The meat is high quality, really worth the price. We got the JOA option for 2 and it was versatile and fulfilling in the cuts of meat they serve. Definitely could feed a 3rd person. Our waitress was super nice however, our experience was not like other Korean BBQs. Im not sure if its because we ordered the JOA option, but we did not cook our own food our waitress did and she was very attentive especially with 4 other tables she was servicing at the same time. Definitely a nice date place or a group outing!“

“Great little place for Korean Fried Chicken! Its small and very popular so expect to be on a waitlist during peak hours even off peak hours too but its worth the wait! The staff there are very nice~ shout out to one of the ladies there who was strict with us in a lovingly funny way. She keeps reminding me to put my trash in the tin can provided so she doesnt have to clean up after haha. She also ran after me in the parking lot because I forgot my leftover box and gave me a disappointing head shake lol. As for the food itself its really good I suggest the sampler if its your first time!“

“This place is underrated! Came here for a party/event and the staff was very friendly and nice, and had everything set up. I didn't have high expectations for the food to be that good since it looked more like a boba cafe (as it was decorated really floral and pretty) and was a bar after all, but the food stood out on its own as well! The kimchi pork, rabokki, fish soup, creamy seafood pasta were SO good-- and I could actually imagine myself coming back here just for the food itself haha. The somek was also good, and as said before, service was friendly and great.“

“This store was located in a Korean food court and the place was generally clean and comfortable. There was not much service due to the food court setting, but the owner would serve the food to you on the table of your choice as the buzzer device was not used at all. I was a little surprised by the gamja tang I ordered as it tasted a little sweet and I was not expecting the sweetness in a spicy soup, based on my previous experiences with Korean tofu soup. However, after finishing the gamja tang, I was used to the sweetness and I started to like the soup. The meat from the pork ribs in the soup was very soft and tasty and I enjoyed the ribs very much. This was a great little store and I would certainly return to try other dishes like the raw crab and bossam jungsik.“
