“We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. There have been many good servers but our server tonight, John, was excellent. He was busy but stopped by just the right amount of times, was friendly and professional. He never missed a beat. If he thought we were going to have to wait for anything he would explain why to us before it ever happened. Our order came out with a mistake and he noticed it before we did and replaced it right away. Both my husband and i agreed that John gave us the best service we have experienced here. “This was our first visit to Torchy’s and it was the BEST!!! The young man at the register last night (can’t remember his name was so helpful and friendly). He was so patient with me and my husband as we navigated the huge menu of foods not knowing what we wanted, so he so graciously offered us some good food choices.We dined in and the atmosphere was so cool and welcoming. I struck up a conversation with this sweet lady Miss Maria who was so kind and I told her this was my first visit to Torchy’s so she told me to give her a minute she would be right back.She went and got the manager and he came out and spoke with me and my husband about how our visit was going, the history of Torchy’s, and just chatted a bit about the food. I can’t remember the managers name, I think it was Danny (not sure) because we were talking about so many things. He was a very courteous, down to earth, and professional guy.We were then served our Grande Burritos and let me tell you… they were amazing!!I had the barbacoa burrito , my husband had the brisket burrito, and my grandson had the steak burrito. Also, the sweet tea was soooo good! They were all delicious!! I also noticed the bar there, which when we return I will have one of those margaritas. We had a Damn Good meal!!!“
“Just seems that the order takers are not aware of the food and what is spicy and what is not. We asked if the sauce was spicy on the enchiladas and other food. The response was kids eat this all of the time. Long story short, we had to send the food back and get something different because our original order was too spicy.“
“We had been reading Matt's cookbook, so we went to visit the restaurant in the Dallas area. It was so good! We started with the Bob Anderson cheese dip appetizer. That was really good! We had enough to use on our dinner, too. I had the beef chile relleno dish. There wasn't too much chile to be overwhelming. I had the con queso topping. The beef was ground beef that was charred perfectly. The servings were great, lots of leftovers. The magic black sauce on my husband's plate was really good. The chicken was tender. My brother-in-law gave a thumbs up to the tamale dinner. He said he'd order it again! All around, great time. Service was fast and polite, and multiple people asked us if we needed anything. Must go if you're in the area!“

“The food is amazing but the real star was Alex our server. I truly have never received service quite as incredible as how Alex treated us. I dined in with my mom and he served us amazing off the menu salads and was just all-around so kind and accommodating. He took such great care of us, we will be requesting Alex’s section every time we eat there now! Thank you Alex! :)“
“The only problem was the temperature inside. It was cold. They had several space heaters but it was trying to warm a barn with a candleOn the bright side the beef nachos were great. Service was awesome. And the karaoke host, Ronnie Ray, did a great job. More singers need to find this gem on a Sunday night.“

“We don't come to fate often but decided to try this place, and we LOVE IT. By far the best mexican we have had in a longggg time. Emma, our waitress was OUTSTANDING and checked on us often. The food is incredible, a lot better than anything in Royse City or Rockwall that we have found. I have zero complaints about this place and that normally doesn't happen. The queso and salsa is made fresh. The tortillas are soft and homemade.
