“The food is superb! We decided to take a fun morning date on a run of errands in the area and found it while doing a Google search. We wanted to try somewhere local. The area is unassuming, and you really wouldn't expect the diverse menu. Do not sleep on this place though. My wife got the 2x2x2 breakfast with CC pancakes, and I ordered a Mexican Benedict with Chorizo and Chipotle Hollandaise. Both orders were phenomenal. The crispy Yukon potatoes were crispy and soft all the same.My wife ordered a fresh juice, and I ordered the Coffee with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon (forgot the menu name). Both were great additions to round out the meal.“
“This Gloria’s location is the best location to visit at any time of the day. Their food is fresh and extremely tasteful, Memo was our waiter and he was exquisite to say the least. The experience he provided, reminded me of when I stayed at 5 star resort. This place makes you feel at home with the amazing service they provide. Their wait times are extremely minimal. I have been to Gloria’s in dallas, rockwall, and other nearby locations, this location is one of the best, they are extremely hospitable and make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Esteban the manager personally greets every guest that comes through his door, the hostesses always greets you with a smile and delightful attitude. I love Gloria’s however, the Gloria’s experience in Garland is incomparable and I would reccomend this location for any company parties, family parties, girls brunch, or even dates. AMAZING! I cannot give them kudos enough, Jose Fuentes and Nancy Reyes can be extremely proud of the team that has been taking care of their Garland Location because they are remarkable to say the least. Thank you to every single one of the team members of Gloria’s for taking care of us every single time we come out. It has always been an unforgettable experience.“
“Delicious shrimp tacos. Much better than what you expect for Tex Mex in the burbs. They have a wonderful crispy flour tortilla and a good sauce on the shrimp. The crab empanadas were good too. But next time I'd just get shrimp tacos. It's a very suburban Texas Tex Mex place. The clientele isn't very hip. But the shrimp tacos are actually worth a try.“
“We were fortunate enough to get a $10 voucher from the city during a Karaoke event at the main square. We went to Dos Banderas and all of the food was great, but it would be nice to have at least one plant based option in the appetizer section as the voucher was only for the openers section supposedly. My husband and I eat only plants and there were no plant options. We asked if we could get guacamole instead and pay any difference and the waitress said no. Should have spoken to the owner....which we did (but not about that), but we ate the wings on the menu anyway. The next day we had acid reflux from the wings...that is the whole reason we eat only plants because eating animal products is not pleasant for our bodies or our health. I think the city paid for the $10 voucher anyway, so it would not have been a loss from Dos Banderas.Food: We had the guacamole, beans, and the cilantro lime wings. That was very filling and tasty that night.Service:Waitress was friendly and patient while we were looking at the menu.Atmosphere:Beautifully remodeled. If there was any music while eating it was low so as to enjoy talking to people you are eating with.Recommendation for owner: Please see if you can add a vegan option on the openers section without animal products at all...cheese or meat or at least if a customer asks if they can substitute something and it is available on the menu, please help your customer out through your waiters. Our meal at Dos Banderas would have been much more pleasant and memorable the next day (acid reflux is painful).“
“Frankies is a great place to eat and have a good time, the food is always amazing ? the staff is so professional and well about the restaurant everything is great the decorations the music will definitely recommend frankies?? will recommend my favorite salmon enchiladas but everything is very tasty??“
“Great restaurant. Great owner. Great service. Great Mexican food, judged by myself, a picky Mexican. Dishes are served with class. No street type service here. Tacos are Mexican chef level. Delicious. You will be treated as a friend here. I return often. Welcome to the neighborhood Bajio restaurant!“
“The weather is beautiful, so stop by Primo's for lunch on the patio overlooking Lake Hubbard!Good food. Good drinks. And fantastic service. You can listen to the Great Tailed Grackle's, there's really no choice, but refrain from feeding them. Tex-Mex isn't the best thing for them.“
“You guy's your food always hit the spot especially when you're just being released from the hospital. Thank you for the delicious food.Parking: There's ALOT of space for parking so come on down Garland Folks. Enjoy yourself some good authentic Mexican Food.“
“Dos Bros is my favorite Garland Taqueria. No contest.Their Barbacoa is one of my favorites. Their Chicharrón in salsa is exceptional. Their Menudo is delicious and very well portioned. But most impressing is the fact that they make their tortillas right there every time. Sometimes that means waiting a little longer than usual, but you can totally tell the difference and it’s always worth the wait. If you haven’t been, order the Gorditas and you’ll see what I mean by fresh, handmade goodness.“
“Strangely enough, I saw this place on Pokemon Go. The wife and I were nearby and I had a few minutes to play and I saw it there. We had to go to another destination first for fuel and I mentioned it to her and we went back and tried it out. I'm a side note: I am a Gringo married to a Mexicana that is very picky about Mexican Restaurants. We both loved this place. She has even mentioned how much she loves it around 4 times in the week after. When I love it and she does as well, that means we will be back. You get plenty of chips and good salsas to start. Service was fast and attentive. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. I should have gone there today again. For sure next weekend.“
“I had the new Chili's Philly and the taste was really good but it's a very messy sandwich. I'm 63 years old and probably eat an average of 250 sandwiches a year. That means I've eaten around 15,750 sandwiches in my life. I would say this sandwich was in the top three messiest of my life. I ate it open face with a fork and it tasted great, just too messy for 5 stars.“
“Best server I've had in years ; server name "Remi"/garland Texas location off 30 and Brodway. Such a great experience, very communicative on order and wait time, very helpful with food suggestions and knowledge of menu, guaranteed would not have had a better experience with any other server“
“This family owned gem hits it on all cylinders! In the nation’s top 20 taco spots & #2 in the DFW, I was very well pleased with the food. The staff made us feel like family. What was cool was another 1st time family was dining in as well. The commonality was how excited we’re about the taste of the tacos.“
