“Stopped in this mall for a coffee and wondered into Susie's Cakes. Oh my! So glad we did! What an assortment. We left with a slice of lemon cake that was so big we had more than enough for two people! The frosting was a fresh buttercream and the layers were filled with lemon curd, absolutely heavenly! The cake itself was very moist and dense and so refreshing to taste like a homemade cake and not a box mix! I only wish we had a Susie's in Wisconsin! Reason to plan another trip to Texas just to eat cake!“

The owner met with us at both the first and final meetings, she’s very straight forward and accommodating.In addition to the smaller two tiered cake (lemon cake with raspberry filling cream cheese icing), we got salted caramel apple pies to represent my husband was from New Hampshire and Buckeyes to represent that I was from Ohio. The buckeyes were something new for them…and they NAILED it! These Buckeyes tasted like home…and if we ever have an event that calls for it again, we know where we’ll be going!The cake and desserts were a hit! “The girl who made my ice cream was sweet, can’t say that for her coworker. Idc if you’re having a bad day don’t bring it to your CUSTOMERS SERVICE job. The tip I left was for the young girl with the glasses.The ice cream was really good, I got a ice cream cone and I friend got a regular strawberry smoothie. I’ll be returning again to try something new“

“We ordered an 8" round red velvet cake for my son's 40th birthday on a short 2-day notice and said they didn't need to do anything fancy with the icing. I spoke with Sharon when I placed the order, and she was very helpful and kind. She said they would get it done with no problem; it was quite a relief. The day I picked it up, the staff was friendly, and the store was clean and cute. We were so pleased with the way it looked; they added extra touches to the icing. Everyone loved the cake; it was delicious and very moist. Next time, we may need a bigger cake. :-) We will be buying all of our (Fort Worth family) cakes from Creative Memories from now on and will definitely be recommending them. Wish we had Creative Memories in Houston.“
