“We’ve been wanting to try this place and it was a great experience, from the Asian decor to the welcoming atmosphere to the food. We got the Shumai to start off and it was pretty good. I suggest having the sauce on the side if you’re not into really spicy things. My friend got the beef bowl and it was delish. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the sauce had a great flavor. You don’t get much protein, so next time he wants to order it with extra meat. I got the west side Ramen which was yummy. The broth was ok, but the noodles were good and plenty. I got the pork loin since I always get the pork belly, so it wasn’t as flavorful. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and/or want to eat good food.“

The owner always remembers a special dietary request i made some years ago He even made a special trip to the store (when I first asked about a GF item, which has hopefully been benefitto others). We've taken friends and family there and they've been quite happy also😊 I hope they stay open for a very long time!!!“

“Went for my sisters birthday with the whole family today. The food was wonderful and the staff was even better! They were very attentive to my older parents and even offered us to pull the car to the side exit when we were done to avoid the steps at the front for them. The chef was incredible and was so great with my young niece! He was extremely interactive and funny and it made for a wonderful family experience. The food was perfect and the wait staff was wonderful as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“FANTASTIC Staff & Manager! Friday night I took my daughter there for her 24th Birthday. The Manager was so friendly and took care of us! Gave us a wonderful table by the window. He was so attentive to the whole restaurant and was running the very busy place with such professionalism. Highly recommend Blue Sushi for their amazing sushi, but the service was stellar!“

“The short: Fresh Sushi, Busy Vibe, Needs Better Service

The long: Tried Sushi Tao for the first time after seeing it on a gluten-free app. I can’t believe it’s been open 17 years and I never knew about it! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and my boyfriend loved the Cowboy Roll. The place was packed, so clearly a local favorite.

Service was the only downside. We had to ask multiple times for basics like chopsticks and soy sauce, and three different people tried to take our order. Staff seemed stretched thin. Also, while they do have gluten-free soy sauce, the servers weren’t very knowledgeable about GF options.

We’ll definitely be back for the sushi but hopefully they get more help soon!“

“This place was great. It's kind of tucked into the corner of a little strip. The rolls were huge, I'm actually glad we didn't do the ayce. The waitress was fantastic, I really wish I remembered her name... but my kiddo was having tummy issues and she was so patient and understanding. Pricing was fair and everything was yummy!“

I was hesitant on trying this place mainly because it’s not very close to the city, but turns out they have some really good sushi rolls among other things. I’d recommend it if you don’t feel like driving to Fort Worth. I get my orders for takeout, but the restaurant seems okay.“

We had the sweetest, most amazing server. He gave great food recommendations and checked up on us frequently.
The scenery was also amazing. There's a giant waterfall at the entrance when you walk in, the place is very clean, decent sized bar seating, and big TVs.

“I ate here a few months ago and food was good but overheard conversation about employees not getting paid for having to work late because they allow customers to place orders minutes before closing for the night I don't think it's fair for employees not to get paid when they have to work past scheduled hours“

“I visit Asian Gourmet often on my lunch break between 11AM-12PM. Items I typically order are the wonton soup, the chicken with broccoli lunch special, as well as the Hunan chicken lunch special which is featured below. The service is fast(best to call in), the food is flavorful, and the portions are enough for 2 meals(at least, for me). I see lots of negative reviews but I have personally never had a negative experience with Asian Gourmet. I hope this review helps! Also, the prices on any online menu are definitely outdated. Call the restaurant for accurate pricing.“

“I've had really good hibachi, and I've had meh. This was in the middle... not bad but not great. I think they skimp a little on the protein. Fries rice wasn't bad, and the vegetables were good. They also serve a little bit of eggplant (first for me at a japanese place), and it was just too slimy for me. My wife got the pina colada and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure how often I'd go back here.“
