This place has hit the Bottom ordered lunch meat enchiladas they bought them out and it tasted like they put wolf brand chili on them with no cheese my daughter ordered chicken quesadilla ala cart just chicken and cheese they brought her chicken notchos and said that’s what she ordered been eating there for 50 years won’t go back ate at the one in Saginaw a year ago this time was Benbrook would rather eat a TV diner

1st I went the Deluxe Nachos were good, this time I went it was ehhh. I ordered the #2 lunch special. It was a chicken enchilada & a cheese toastada... For some reason, I wasn't expecting a toastada with just queso on the top. I also wasn't impressed with the chicken enchilada. There wasn't very much flavor & the creama was more white cheese than anything.The next time I go, I'll try something else.

It's food. I wouldn't consider the majority of the food anything even remotely resembling Mexican. If you're extremely anglo Saxon and pretending to be cultured this may be up your alley. There's quite a few staff members who are Mexican. The food is definitely Tex-Mex at best. You'd have to go closer to la grand plaza to get actual Mexican food. I've had the aroz con pollo the flautas and a few other dishes. Their chips are ok, their salsa is pretty trash and flavourless, the aroz con pollo is dry. They're flautas, rice and beans are ok. The staff is friendly and honestly I think the only reason this place stays open are because of those old people who never had real Mexican food until this opened and think this is what it is. Also anywhere that has a " puffy taco" should be an indication they have no idea what Mexican food is.
