When you walk in there you honestly don't expect much but the guys there are awesome and the food is even more awesome. Everything is delicious.

Probably the worst BBQ I’ve had in my lifetime. We couldn’t get over the over abundance of salt on EVERYTHING. We were blowing salt off of every bite, and it was still too salty. Portion size on the chopped barbecue sandwiches was laughable. Even the smoked sausage was salted! How this placed achieved a 4.7 rating before we ate here is beyond me. Took a half hour to get our food with a mostly empty dining room.

Great local BBQ. I had the brisket and it was delicious along with the jalapeño sausage. My wife had the ribs and they fell off the bone.All this for a very reasonable price.Highly recommend, will definitely be going back!

Brisket, Jalapeño Sausage, Mac & Cheese, and Onion Rings. The staff was great and provided the definition of customer service. I did find the brisket lacking any features that would make is a Texas brisket. No real pepper taste or salt. The BBQ sauce carried the meal in my opinion. I did find the sides tasty but it was missing the real star of the show. I’m not a believer in giving anything below a four star review to a mom & pop but I would look at other BBQ joints in the area

Red's is just a good ol' fashioned BBQ joint, and it was delicious. I had the catfish platter specially, which came with more than enough food for me. One of us has the chopped brisket BBQ sandwich special (they have daily specials, just check the website). The brisket was super moist and flavorful, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. All the kids got the chicken strips kid's meal, which came with more food than they could eat! Everything was a fair price, especially for the amount of food we got. Add to that a really friendly staff, and it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

12- 16-2022- Not impressed AT ALL!! For the price my wife and I paid, the meal was VERY lacking. I ordered a 2 meat 2 side plate, my wife, a 1 meat 2 side plate. She actually got more meat than I did. The meal was served on paper.... Not even a plate. The cook actually walked out along with the waitress/cashier with our bread in his tongs, forgot to put it on our trays. Apparently, that's a toss up too. One was sesame bread the other was regular toasted, but hey we got bread. Their drink machine was mostly out of order. No tea at all available with excuses at the ready (they were out at the store)-they did offer a refund for the lack of drink, after the fact. But did not offer even a glass of water. Their food tasted like it was directly out of a can or the microwave. The brisket was good, but that was it. We WILL not be coming here again, nor would we recommend Red's to anyone....ever. Not sure where all these 4 star reviews came from. For the lack of product available and cost vs what we received this was literally one of the poorest choices for lunch we've ever made. Avoid if possible!!!

First-time customer and will be returning for more.Went in kind of late-close to closing, but was treated well by the staff. The food was hot and flavorful, and the atmosphere was relaxing while waiting for the food that arrived faster than expected. I was hooked from the first bite and can honestly recommend others give them a try.

Stopped in for the 1st time. Daily specials were good and the barbecue was very good. Definitely recommend Red's and looking forward to further visits. Good to have a BBQ place close bye.

We wanted to try due to local recommendations. Unfortunately they served our 3 year old daughter raw chicken. They apologized and gave us a different meal since we were eating inside but one time is one time too many. Thankfully we decided to cut up her chicken so she didn’t eat it. Even though the place was empty and clearly ran down, we wanted to give it a try and it’s a hard no.*** It will not let me reply to your response so I will do it here. It was on Sept 16th around 6PM. I know this because I texted my family about it when it happened. It was at the location off of 287 right next to cowboys beer and wine store. We ordered the kids meal chicken tenders. I took my daughter to the restroom (which I had to use my cell phone light for because the bathroom light was out) when I returned my husband showed me the raw chicken tenders. We took them to the front counter. There were 3 workers there at the time a young lady at the front counter, and two young men. One of the men apologized and asked if they could remake another meal. They gave us a grilled cheese (which we asked to do togo) and they threw in a banana pudding dessert.

I dropped in on a whim and only ordered the chopped BBQ sandwich.Damn good sandwich. The bun was tasty, the meat was flavorful with just enough smoke, and the price was good.

My daughter recommended this when I told her I was interested in BBQ for supper. Plenty of meat & sides on their plates. The brisket was tender, the sausage was peppery & possibly some of the best I've had. The sauce was good. Cole slaw, Mac n cheese, pinto beans & okra, all good. Your greeted kindly & respectively, coming & going. Great 1st time experience.
