Wonderful place for breakfast. Loved the ambiance and the food was delicious! Great service too. Very friendly! We will be back. And we did! We started our spring break with breakfast here and ended our week with breakfast here. Best place ever!
This is a quaint bistro tucked away in the basement area of an old hospital. It's a little crowded because of the limited space. The walls are mostly stone, so it gets pretty loud even when the restaurant isn't full.The food selection is nice; although, I would expect more German food with a name like Rathskeller. Stopped in during our visit to Fredericksburg. Nice little place we ate the dish with the Snitzel and bratwurst with a sausage, red cabbage and sauerkraut with a super friendly atmosphere. Great service loved the owner. We definitely recommend this as a stop on your time in Fredricksburg. They had other options not just German as well.
