Mei Wei appears to be closed. All the signs are gone. Was there on Chinese Nee Year's Eve, 2/09/24. I hope they moved location instead of shutting down

This is a fantastic place located inside 99 Ranch Food court. Come here while you still can because the owner told me that they're moving to the Carrollton location in March. The fried fish is my favorite by far. It has a marvelous crispy exterior and tender, flakey fish on the inside. The beef noodle soup is really good too. The broth itself had a rich, hearty flavor that's not overwhelming while the noodles are a perfect chewy texture. Plus it doesn't take very long for the food to come out even though we came on a Friday evening.

Located within the Ranch 99 at the food court area, this place serves authentic Taiwanese food. The store was clean and operated in a self service manner with wireless beepers. Their medium rare Black Pepper Steak is personally my most favorite under $20 steak in the whole of DFW. It is a rib eye steak that was covered with black pepper sauce and came with pasta, egg and some vegetables. The rib eye steak was fatty and very flavorful. You can soak the pasta in black pepper sauce and it was very nice. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone who wants to try some authentic Taiwanese food to give this place a try.

Terrible experience with this restaurant. I was in a hurry so I asked how long with item takes and the front receptionist told me 6 to 7 minutes before I placed the order. I waited for 30 minutes and the people came after us already got their food and I asked the receptionist to cancel the last item so that I can leave. And he refused to do it and gave me the food in a very hot plastic container. Speechless about the service I got.

This is probably the most legit and authentic Taiwanese place in DFW. Located inside the food court of Ranch 99, this unassuming spot is crazy good. I’m a fan of the braised tofu, loofa, porkchop over rice, fried fish fillets, and more. Tried about 15 dishes at this point, 14 were fantastic and 1 was okay. Great mom and pop owners.

I ordered the hot iron steak and it was delicious! I felt like I was back in Taiwan. The staff was especially friendly and kind, I will be back!

This is my new favorite place whenever I come to the area to visit family. My parents ordered the salt and pepper fried fish meal and one bite from it made me realize how special this place is. The fish was amazing, the frying technique or coating must be something different but I just had to come back and try this place again. Seriously, that fried fish is really special. I came back and got several more dishes. The fried pork hock was delicious, crispy pork skin, fat, probably tendon and pretty large chunks of meat, well seasoned. To me personally I wish they offered a not fried stewed version of this as that would be even better The beef scallion meal was good but not too memorable I LOVED the intestines with mustard greens. The savory flavor of the intestines actually goes really well with the sour flavor of the mustard greens. It's covered in a somewhat clear not overpowering sauce. Add some rice to it, and it's perfect Will definitely come to this place again and to the entire cafeteria area as there are so many interesting places to try!

It is inside 99 Ranch on the far right side. The rice and pork with egg was alright. My friend had it and I could make it better so I was biased towards the dish. I had the beef noodles and it was overall a good dish but some chunks of meat were extremely chewy so that was off-putting. I could have used more broth.
