“Only here for our first afternoon in Galveston. Dropped in for a few drinks. Very friendly neighborhood bar. Honest bar. "Got white wine?" " Yes, but its terrible." Gin and tonics were great. Learned of a second bar - same owner. We'll be there another day.Parking: Street parking. We were there mid day on Wendnesday. Perhaps a challenge on weekends.“
“The bartenders at this place are not just friendly, they are exceptionally friendly, and they are absolute masters when it comes to mixing up the most mouthwatering drinks imaginable. The local residents in this area are not just nice, they are genuinely the most kind-hearted individuals you will ever come across. And let me tell you, the Saturday live music events here are not to be missed. The atmosphere? Oh boy, it's nothing short of extraordinary. Trust me when I say, you absolutely must give it a try.“
“Very enjoyable place and environment! I recommend staying there for a nice sunset beach view!! They have pool, cheap good drinks and they’re even PET FRIENDLY!! can’t beat a place like this, looking to coming back here next time I go down that area.“
“Ok for a place to hang out in an open-air place to hang out and enjoy adult beverages. Seemed more like a treehouse than a bar. But, it drew a decent crowd of bikers during the rally for being several miles away from the main action. We wanted to ride a little away from the masses, so it filled the bill. Kudos to their parking attendants, they really controlled the lot. There was no food served by Woodys, but there was a food truck there. I think they should've offered a few portapotties the mens room was often overwhelmed. I heard many of the ladies comment upon seeing the long line of men waiting for the restroom. Most said the world is upside down here.“
“Absolutely enjoyed this little bar I can imagine you guys will be super busy in the next few days! But our bar guys were awesome! Aka (bill an Ted) stay tubular lol!Kid-friendliness: Fishing piers and overlooks for kids and adults to look out over the gulf!“
