Horrible and rude customer phone service by the front desk hostess. You never get a second chance at good customer service.

Meh. This place is overrated. The food was alright. They made my order wrong, including leaving out a main part of the dish, while including what I asked to be left out. The waiter even repeated it back to me when she wrote it down, so I guess they don't verify the food is correct. It wasn't bad food but not that good. I got the burger and it was just bland. The fries were okay, but they were the type you get at the gas station or frozen, so they were batter type seasoned and tough. The "signature sauce" appeared to be Heinz's signature sauce (aka plain ketchup). For $20 and a tip, I shouldn't be wishing I had just stopped for fast food. The waiters were professional but uncomfortable. I like a waiter who talks to you like you're a person. We had 4 waiters deliver the food so they could present it to each of us at the same time but my waiter was early so she stood awkwardly hovering over me while she waited for the others. I couldn't figure out at first what she was doing, as she didn't speak to me. It was really odd. I get the fancy presentation but I'd rather just have a great waiter and an accurate order. They also swapped part of the charges on the bill for me and another person at my table. This was fixed on the charge but not on my receipt. The atmosphere was nice overall. It was quiet and pleasant, with nice decor and good lighting. I didn't appreciate the naked man photo in the bathroom, and the mouthwash jar didn't work, but the bathroom was clean.Dietary restrictions: The majority of the menu appears to contain dairy or wheat, and most meals don't list what is included, so it can be difficult to identify from the menu.

Quite uncomfortable atmosphere from the entrance to the place. Walking towards the table I could feel an atmosphere in which I did not want to eat my dinner there. Personal act mean and they have the worse host ever.Terrible customer service.I don’t know what this place is expecting being in a Galveston island with their policies.I do not recommend this place.

Arguably some of the best service I have ever received at a restaurant! The food was amazing also. It’s an expensive place but you get your money’s worth.

Oh my. It was my second time here, but my husband's first. We had lunch so I had the meatloaf sandwich and my husband had the Angle (pasta). And heaven it was. Perfectly cooked and so divine. My husband had stolen mine and switched our plates and both meals were...mwaaa-perfection.The plantains were the best ever enjoying two sauces. For desert we had the Paco freeze. My husband ditched the straw and picked up a spoon. It was that good. This is a must try for the experience will bring you back to days gone by with the atmosphere and in synch waiters, and that music!!!! Fabulous all around!!

What a wonderful dinner !!!!! Can't brag on it enough from the food to the service it was great. Even had Paco himself bring us a piece of cheesecake and wish us Happy Anniversary. What a nice man.

Not sure if they were having a bad night, but service was not even close to what you'd expect for this kind of establishment. Three out of four meals were mediocre. It was a pretty big disappointment based on all the other reviews.

Fantastic evening with exceptional food and service. Rudy and Paco's never fails to exceed my expectations. I drive from Dallas to enjoy Paco's food and his continued attention to detail.

Incredible! Rudy and Pacos is what nice restaurants used to be...a great dining experience. Great service by a very professional staff in a really pleasant atmosphere. Our meal was spectacular. In a town where seafood is available on every corner, this corner is King.
