Mrs Chapa the owner makes the most incredible Pineapple empanadas, like no other. They are so flaky and full of pineapple, they taste so so good that we drive from Pearland to get them. She also makes her own German chocolate frosting on cakes & cupcakes. A must if you like German chocolate.
The mild pork tamales are so good. The woman who owns the place needs to work on her people skills. I don't mind her at all, I'm after the tamales so I just ignore her when she says something stupid.

I've been a customer at this family owned bakery for decades and it's changed very little. Not the variety of pan dulce that they used to have but the quality is unchanged and very good. The homemade tamales are classics and well worth taking home.
