Have received excellent service each time visiting over the past few years. Friends seem to really appreciate getting invited to eat here as well! A solid assortment of menu items to help repeated visits feel different in a great way too.

So, there are a few menu items that are pretty delicious (I like the buffalo chicken tacos) but there are also some not very high selling items that taste bad. I had the boss sandwich and the fried pickles on it were rubbery and tasted like old grease. The roast beef also tasted old and off. When we brought it to the attention of our server, she told us that my boyfriend and I would have to still pay for both sandwiches (we both got the boss), even though there was a full meal and its side untouched. She proceeded to say she couldn't do anything because her boss Sherry would get mad. And when we asked to speak to that boss, she told us she wasn't there. So we asked her to call her and she said she couldn't. So she asked the man working with her what she should do and he agreed that since we did not eat an entire entree or like it, we shouldn't have to pay for it. So she reluctantly removed it from the bill. She had no menu knowledge, didn't check on us, served me water in a dirty glass, served my boyfriend a completely melted shake after she said she had to take a phone call and refused to take the uneaten meal off the bill. She said well I always pay for things even if I don't like them. That's not my problem. It's literally service 101 that if an item is not quality or up to par, it should be removed. We still tipped her appropriately, but she was absolutely unprofessional and completely negated all of the good experiences we have had there. She's the light skinned girl with the long brown pony tail. So. Prepare yourself if you decide to go here. When you get your plate of slop, you are gonna eat it and like it and have to pay for it no matter what because that's just how it is. ??

Sorry to say, we are out trying new restaurants for the week and sadly to day that this place was worse and service super slow. Waitress has no knowledge of menu and also informed us that the kitchen staff has no clue what the special sauce is. Mind you that we were the first ones here for our lunch hour and food took longer than our lunch hour allows us. So yes we ran out of time and no food. That tells you something !

I was on a streak of trying new restaurants, deeply sorry I tried this one! Very disappointed. Went way over on my lunch hour, ended up having to walk out with no food.

We had a wonderful experience here. It was the first time we tried fried pickles! The food was hot and fresh. Service was on point and the 1950's flare was icing on the cake.

What a fun café for breakfast with son and his family! It is a throw back to the old soda shops of the late 1950's/early 1960's. Lots of parking 2 separate outdoor dining areas and one inside. The walls and edges are full of interesting murals and eye catching artifacts! There was no crowd for the Saturday breakfast so our service was REALLY good and timely. The party of 4 adults and 4 kids each had something very different with many modifications. The staff made it seem simple. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable!

A must visit! This is a fun place with a lot of collectibles bringing back many memories! My friend and I had "The Boss" sandwich and tomato basil soup. It was delicious and prepared perfectly! Looking forward to having dessert next time!Kid-friendliness: A fun place to learn about the past and to experience real diner food!

We had been moving all week and decided to take a break and go to a car show in Garland. We had not eaten that day and was so hungry! We had been talking about eating at Paw Paw’s but we never actually got the chance until this day. It was my first time there. When we walked in, we sat ourselves. The FOH and whoever was in the office were yelling through the restaurant to one another. We waited on cheese sticks for about 25-30 minutes, couldn’t get refills until one of the guys in the kitchen came out to check on us. The waitress was doing everything except paying attention to us. We ordered a burger with fries, and a sandwich with pasta salad. We waited an hour before we finally decided to pay for the drinks and cheese sticks so we could leave and go find food/service elsewhere. I tried to call the manager (Sean) to the front to fill him in, but his attitude was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced in a manager, and I worked in the industry for 15 years. Instead of apologizing for the wait time and bad service, he ridiculed us about leaving because it was “$45 worth of food that is going to waste because we didn’t want to wait” so I will never go back to this place. I hope the rightful owner sees this and takes it back into their possession. I’m sure the food is good, but now I will never know.

The burgers here are really good but what stole the show was their pumpkin pie! (Bought extra) Would recommend to anyone in the area to give it a shot!

Super service, very customer focused, plenty of seating inside and out. Shaded patio! Great decor! Breakfast was good, but understand their burgers are really so will have to come back for those. Decent prices!

I had chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and sweet potato tots. Delicious! The tots tasted like someone shredded them from fresh sweet potatoes. The chicken salad was sublime and I enjoyed the sweet tea, which was "just right" sweet.

Food was good but waitress did not write down order and it took forty minutes to get a chicken salad sandwich. People were waiting excessive amount of time. The creek needs to work faster, orders sat on counter and did not get to table timely. Food was cold and bread was stiff. Have been going there for about three years. Last two times have had problems.

We loved the place, but we're very disappointed in the experience. I would say it was poor service but the poor girl that waited on us was the only one taking care of all the people. She tried to do everything possible to make it a good experience but with so many customers it was hard. The worst thing was we ordered breakfast tacos and they had to send someone to the store to get tortillas. They said it would be 10 minutes but after waiting 30 we changed our order. There were three people in the kitchen so you would think one of them might be able to help since most of the others there were waiting too. Someone next to us ordered eggs and bacon and it took over 30 min for them to get their good. Once we finally got our good the flavor wasn't good. I ordered a Southwestern style burger, the meat was over cooked and there wasn't any flavor for something that should have been a little spicy. I know everyone is short staffed still because of Covid but this was beyond ridiculous, a man did come into work to help the girl who was trying to do it all but it was a little too late. They gave us our drinks for having to wait so long, sorry that wasn't enough to make us come again. We won't return.
