I've been meaning to check out Latham Bakery for a while. I tried a slice of German chocolate cake and a coffee. The bakery is right off the newly refurbished downtown Garland Square, across from a hemp shop. It's clean and spacious with a lot of cafe table seating. Spending time trying to familiarize myself with historic downtown Garland. Charming spot, great vibe inside, case full of beautiful pastries! Staff was friendly. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was okay. Wasn't tremendous.... Fruit cup was cantaloupe and watermelon only. Sort of sad.... But my biggest let down- they only have real sugar and SweetnLow! this place is sooo cute and gives off a nostalgic feeling. I'd sell my soul for all their danishes and for their matcha too. Everybody who works there is so sweet and cute and i just think the whole place is adorable
