My wife wanted catfish for dinner and I don't love the other catfish options in town so we decided to try Bob's. This place is definitely nothing fancy, in fact, it looks its age and it's pretty old. This place is also nothing but smiles and friendly service. You pay your check at a desk in the middle of the room and the cook (I'm assuming Bob himself), when time permits, will come out to see how you enjoyed your meal. A nice touch. We enjoyed our meals a lot. I had a catfish, shrimp, and clam combo(all fried) which included hush puppies, crinkle cut fries and a choice of beans or coleslaw. I opted for the slaw which was sweet with some crunch. The fish, shrimp, and clams were all excellent. The means a lot coming from a guy who will usually avoid an entire plate of deep fried food. The sign in front says it's for sale. I hope not before we get to visit at least a few more times.
