“Stopped in based on reviews. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, pleasantly surprised with very comfortable seating as well. The food was served hot, freshly made, and delicious! Salsa was perfect!”
“Conveniently located in downtown Giddings. The service was quick and friendly. They have a good variety of flavored margaritas and an extensive food menu. We tried a variety of items including, fajitas, quesadillas, beef stuffed avocado, and other items. I have had better fajitas but the other items were good. The free chips came with a tasty red salsa and a salsa verde. It is definitely worth a shot if your close by”
“Just happened to find this BBQ gem while passing through Giddings. Immediately loved the atmosphere and service. You can tell it's a one of a kind family business. Funny decorations and warm kind people. The ribs were delicious. Loved the sweet taste with the smoke flavor. Brisket and sausage were tasty and my son devoured his brisket sammich. On the sides make sure you get yourself some outlaw corn. All serving portions were worth the price. Owner and servers were super attentive and just gave a good sense of welcoming. If we ever pass through again we will for sure be making a stop!”
“I FINALLY had a chance to stop by this cute little place in Giddings, TX, and it didn't disappoint! I was surprised to find out that it's not only a cafe, but a pizzeria! I was craving bacon, so I ordered a WONDERFUL ? (the BEST) BLT, and fried raviolis that rival any Houston upscale restaurant! Oh! The coconut cake was too good to describe ? If you're headed to Austin, don't just drive through Giddings. Stop and experience what their locals have to offer. They might just surprise you ?”
“Looking for some authentic Mexican food, try this little food truck/trailer - street tacos served with limes, cilantro, fresh raw and grilled onions! Be sure to get both types of salsa, so good! The staff there are proud of their food and it shows. All y'all driving through Giddings on your way to somewhere else be sure to pop over, it's literally 2 blocks off the main road through town!”
“The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture. We ordered a fish plate and it was delicious. The restaurant was on our way home and stopped by chance but now anytime we have a trip that way we will definitely make it our stop.Chips and salsa great, we ordered agua Fresca which was also good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive”
“Warm small town cafe atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. Excellent Mexican food, as good as I used to get in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Stephanie took really good care of us.”
“Ohh Lost Pines. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of enjoying your wonderful BBQ sandwiches. We were on the way to Matamoros ??, when we got the sudden urge for BBQ. We took a chance with Lost Pines and came out with a W! The brisket was delicious. The sauce was a delight. Anddddd the staff were extremely kind and helpful even though they were almost closed. Shouts out to y'all ??My amazing perfect gf loved the Mac and cheese as well ⭐ ?”
“Good service, good food and like the BYOB. We had shrimp and catfish with sides. All good, looking forward to crawfish in the spring. We will definitely be back.”
“This is your good old fashioned Mom and Pop cafe. Stopped here while on the road. Had the Southwest Omelette. Absolutely delicious. I skipped the hash browns because I am trying to watch the carbs. Picture is a half-eaten image because I was so hungry that I could not wait. Good portion size and great customer service.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Kids items on the menu. No TV on that could display inappropriate content.”
“Best bartender in the world. Pool tables. Dart board. Cold drinks. Usually, it is not packed if you get there before 10 pm. A great atmosphere now that smoking is no longer allowed inside. If you like small town bars, this is your place. Typical bar food hits the spot after a few drinks. Wide selection of liquor and beer.”
“Great place! Mallory was our server. We came in at nearly closing time, and she never rushed us. She gave us EXCELLENT service! The enormous chicken fried steak is among the best we have ever eaten! We are wishing there was a place at home that makes one that good! It was well-seasoned and not overly breaded. The salad was fresh and delicious. You can't beat a $4 glass of wine and the craft beer was super tasty!”
“I never post reviews. But after reading the negative reviews from people that are in to big of hurry in life. Slow down and put yourself in someone's else's shoes. They all complain "only one person serving"This is a small business trying to survive ina small town in today's economy. I've been eating there for year's. We drive 25 minutes to do it This lady is super. I mean she takes the to go orders over the phone, handles the orders inside gets everyone's drinks and refills. clean the tables check everyone out. Hell bet she does the books and cleans up every evening..Never have had a language issue. So next time you notice only one person serving turn around and go to McDonald's. Plenty of people working there and are pretty quick from my understanding. I've owned small businesses and understand and appreciate people like this lady. life flys by pretty fast to be judging and ugly to others...”
“Always an eclectic group of people. Older, younger, country, city. You can find people playing dominoes and pool. The beer is cheap and the food is good.Beer on tap, many televisions, and shuffleboard. You might even overhear people speaking German. The bullpen is my go-to when I need something familiar”
“Excellent breakfast tacos. Some of the best tacos I have had in general. I absolutely love their Bacon Egg & Cheese taco. Bacon is high quality, and the eggs are always perfectly cooked. Well warrants the long line this place attracts.”
