“Stopped in at Noon on Thursday. There was a small line about 6 in front of us but it moved quickly. We ordered 5 things to share and everything was fresh and delicious, the brisket in green salsa and the bacon egg and cheese were the favorites. All three salsa were district and flavorful. I was happy to see they still had the breakfast options at noon. $36 to feed family of four and we all left full. Bathroom looked fairly recently redone and was clean. No fountain drinks but several drink options in the cooler. They do take cash and card.”
“We love it here! Became wine club members about 3 years ago and love stopping by to and from anywhere in the Hill Country. Great events as well & best charcuterie board ever!”
“Popped in for coffee just minutes before closing on Saturday. The coffee was exceptional. Vanilla latte was as good as ones I’ve enjoyed in Belgium/Italy/France. Owner was on site and very friendly. As a 5th generation Texan, I’m so glad we have a place like Round Top and Round Top Coffee Shop.”
“Stopped in here for a cold beer to Celebrate Independence Day. The staff was really friendly, beer was cold and the service was great!! We would definitely come back.”
“Don’t just come for the coffee & pie but for the experience! Beautiful weather and a huge oak tree to sit underneath while enjoying watching all the shopper by’s.”
“Just happened to find this BBQ gem while passing through Giddings. Immediately loved the atmosphere and service. You can tell it's a one of a kind family business. Funny decorations and warm kind people. The ribs were delicious. Loved the sweet taste with the smoke flavor. Brisket and sausage were tasty and my son devoured his brisket sammich. On the sides make sure you get yourself some outlaw corn. All serving portions were worth the price. Owner and servers were super attentive and just gave a good sense of welcoming. If we ever pass through again we will for sure be making a stop!”
“My sister and mom live in Austin I live in Houston so we meet in Burton for lunch on occasion. Our regular Mexican food place was under maintenance so we needed to find somewhere fast. Paw paws to the rescue. The food was amazing! From fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, burgers and veggies were fantastic! The gal who helped us was so friendly. Hate I can’t remember her name. Paw paw made us feel special and we will definitely be coming back!”
“I’m from Refugio Texas and have eaten at more Mexican food restaurants than I’d like to admit and the only place that has ever impressed me as much as the valley’s restaurants is this place. And the prices are unbeatable. A small quac is massive and only $7! Everything we got was delicious even my toddlers French fries lol. They were seasoned well and extra crispy. I got a chicken plate with mushrooms and sauce and it was so much food. Their homemade tamales are superb and their rice - oh man it’s by far some of the best ever and I’m used to red colored rice and I was worried when this was red in color but it wasn’t lacking flavor at all. We were just passing through but if ever again this will be our stop. Service was excellent and pretty fast considering it was Saturday night and they were busy.”
“We tried the shrimp tacos and the shrimp BLT sandwich. Both were phenomenal!Their lemonade mimosa and blueberry lemon pie were just as amazing! Wait staff were exceptional and I can’t wait to go back and try something else ❤️”
“Incredible. Best spot to grab a treat, so yummy and the owner is the sweetest man. My daughter accidentally dropped her bubble waffle ice cream and he gave her a new one. Can’t thank him enough. The bonus is the atmosphere. Best time to go is sunset or after to sit under the lights. Thanks Eyescream for always having the best tasty treats.”
“The most delicious & moist brisket you'll ever have ?. My baked potato was cooked to perfection! The staff was kind and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!”
“Talk about a great little country steak house that is as good as they come, JW's is it! It all starts with the folks that work there. Nice folks or as my Grandad would say "Salt of the Earth kind people". The food is even more impressive. The steak was a perfect medium and I did not even need a knife to cut it as it was so tender. And the vegetables were could have been a meal by themselves. If you are driving down 290 going through Carmine and you don't stop at JW's Steakhouse, you will miss a Texas Country Favorite.”
“Loved our lunch in this great place! Several of us had the kale salad and a few pizzas, and some AMAZING DRINKS! The service and ambiance are fantastic. Highly recommend!”
“Love it! Cute little food truck with a metal structure built around it. There are tables inside and vending machines, as well. I get their breakfast tacos and they are YUMMY!! I like their hot sauces, too. They have a green one that's got some good spice to it. ♡”
“Prost's Fine Wines and atmosphere have brought together a common family of freinds and wonderful people, accepting of others, that genuinely enjoy seeing one another every weekend. Come join us Thursday night through Saturday night. You never know just what will happen, but be assured it will be a special memory!”
“Ohh Lost Pines. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of enjoying your wonderful BBQ sandwiches. We were on the way to Matamoros ??, when we got the sudden urge for BBQ. We took a chance with Lost Pines and came out with a W! The brisket was delicious. The sauce was a delight. Anddddd the staff were extremely kind and helpful even though they were almost closed. Shouts out to y'all ??My amazing perfect gf loved the Mac and cheese as well ⭐ ?”
“We had dinner Saturday evening for a special family occasion. It was awesome as always! The service was over the top! The chef and proprietor, Gino, who is super friendly, personally greeted us on arrival. Everything was great!! Can’t say enough good. 5 stars are not enough for this place!!”
“Best bartender in the world. Pool tables. Dart board. Cold drinks. Usually, it is not packed if you get there before 10 pm. A great atmosphere now that smoking is no longer allowed inside. If you like small town bars, this is your place. Typical bar food hits the spot after a few drinks. Wide selection of liquor and beer.”
“We LOVED the loaded nachos & hand breaded fried pickles! Sat on the porch & enjoyed the beautiful Texas weather.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp, although a bit steep.”
“Good service, good food and like the BYOB. We had shrimp and catfish with sides. All good, looking forward to crawfish in the spring. We will definitely be back.”

“Mill Street is a beautiful and delicious spot to grab breakfast, lunch and a great coffee etc.the space is stunning and their staff is so friendly. I love the ice coffee with the sweet cream & their Caprese sandwich. Great place to stop and recharge while shopping!”
“New Year's Eve and no one open?Nope. Called and he said "come on and we'll take care of you. They did!Smoked turkey breast and lots of sides and modified one dish to vegetarian All yummy. Agree that the turkey needs to be on a he menu Fun lively place, very friendly and super service. Loved the decor. Right at homeGoing back for more thanks folks for taking care of us .”
“We stopped by Saturdy evening around 5:30 and Lost Pines still had plenty of BBQ. I had the 2 meat plate with the Briskett, Mac & Cheese and green beans. I really liked that I was given a choice between the lean briskett or marbled. Lots of flavor, good bbq sauce and plenty of seating. Not a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's a walk up counter, with food in a glass case. You order and carry food back to your table. Friendly service. I definately recommed.”
“Usually I have a good experience but I got the zesty zucchini this go round since it’s supposed to be a stir fry and it’s steamed. There’s no flavor, it’s very bland. This was really disappointing.”
“Such a delightful atmosphere, menu, and service. We ate here twice during our 4 day stay in Round Top.The Brussel sprouts are an absolute must- some of the best I’ve had.We also enjoyed the salmon, tenderloin, blue cheese burger, key lime pie (GF), mushroom appetizer, as well as some delicious cocktails/mocktails.Everything was extremely well cooked, the food came out very quickly, and the service was top notch. We are both inside and outside, both were lovely.HIGHLY recommend!”
“We live 5 hrs away and stopped in at Annie's on our way home. You need to check this place out. Very friendly. Great food. We will definitely stop here again next time we come thru! Plenty of food on your plate. Thanks Annie's ?”
“I stopped and purchased 2 breakfast tacos for breakfast, I couldn't eat them both because of there size being so large. I actually had the 2nd one for lunch later in the day. The taste was out of the world and can't wait to stop by for the next time.”

“Real nice BBQ joint. Full service Friday-Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday is just sandwiches (refer to menu picture) Half rack of ribs were fall of the bone and i’m pretty sure it’s a house made BBQ sauce. Can’t go wrong here. It’s definitely worth a slight detour to experience this. I love these hole-in-the-wall side of the road type spots and this is hard to beat. Real legit Texas BBQ”
