“When I first found out this place was located in the back of a convenience store, I was giving the side eye. My sister said they had really good food, so I was willing to check them out. I had the Salmon Philly and seasoned fries. It was absolutely delicious! I came with a group, so we sampled each other's food. The wangz were the bomb and so was the catfish! I didn't get to sample the turkey leg, but I saw it was falling off the bone so I know it was good! The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back again!“

We will be back and tell others! I got the smothered chicken plate: DELICIOUS! My family got the catfish and grits, and the Loco Moco and loved them! And the Mac and cheese was on point!! “My husband and I absolutely loved this place. We were looking for something new to try and found this on google. It was sensational!! Everything was seasoned to the T. The vibrancy in the food itself tells you this is great quality food. He had the Philly cheesesteak and I got the grilled salmon and shrimp. I only have a picture of my food because he ate his way too fast ? which also tells you it’s amazing!! Don’t think about it just go try it I promise you won’t be disappointed!!“

“I walked and it gave me that family cookout feel the way i was greeted. You would think we knew one another the way we chatted. I love bbq and have probably tried most , working on all in the DFW. I judge a bbq place by their ribs or brisket , anyone can cook chicken. Their ribs have a great flavor and season. I grew up with my Dad showing me that Good bbq needs only sauce to enhance the good that is already there, should not need it. Theirs did not need it at all. They gave me some spicy sauce and it was a perfect add. But again, could have eaten them without the sauce. My wife loved the loaded baked potato! The only reason I did not give a 5 is because the ribs were a little on the less meaty side but were good. I will go back!“

“I had lunch yesterday and loved the experience. My friends kept saying I had to go and they were so right. Tracy the new owner was so warm and welcoming, and funny. Our waiter Rohan was very attentive and efficient. I ate every bite of my Chili cheese omelette, hash browns and biscuit and gravy. The best one I've ever had. Breakfast is served all day. My friends had burgers or catfish and all plates were cleaned. Looking forward to my next visit.“

“When you open the door to go in the restaurant, the first thing you smell is a fresh and clean scent. Believe me, this is the cleanest restaurant in DFW! And the restroom is clean too. I ordered the 2-piece catfish with cabbage greens, and macaroni and cheese. It was so delicious and seasoned to perfection. The employees are very nice, and will give you a warm welcome. I also brought friends with me, and they raved about the food, clean restaurant, and great customer service. We will definitely be visiting again and AGAIN! ??Parking: Lots of parking spaces.“

“Courtesy is outstanding. Knowledgeable service. I wanted some greens (real, not canned) they were the real thing. Ribs were tender and not sauced (my favorite way). I WILL be back and soon to try other options. Please give them a try. Can't add a photo. I ate the food too fast.“
