“Last night was date night with the husband. We decided to book our first murder mystery dinner with Messina! I gotta say, we were very happy. It was ‘murder me im Irish’ theme.One, the building is in historic grapevine and is just beautiful. I love the historic homes.I’m not a huge alcohol drinker, so I was BEYOND estática when they had a non-alcoholic drink for me. It was very sweet (think welche’s grape juice- sparkling), and lasted the night.Our dinner was upstairs in a private area. Everybody who came was dressed up, and ready to participate, which is always a bonus. There was a large crowd. Maybe 30 people? The upstairs isn’t large. So if felt like more.The dinner isteself is a little pricey ($200 for 2 people), but worth it in my option. They had decorated for the night, served us 3 courses, and it seemed like it was an open wine bar?Our servers were prompt, the dinner stayed on schedule, and the food was honestly delicious. It might look like small portions, but it fills you up fast.Our murder host was fabulous and upbeat. Loud.At the end of the night, I was the only one to solve the murder! But they had awards for best dressed, and best actor.Highly recommend“
“Awesome brewery with a delicious BBQ food truck right outside. We tried the Miracle blood orange wheat and the Weisser time Hefeweizen. And for BBQ we were blown away by the brisket Mac and cheese bowl and the Birria tacos - so so good! They also had some live music - perfect combo for a Friday night. Only request is to get some board games for people to play (we didn’t see any there).“
“First time visitor and the food was fantastic. Brisket was tender and flavorful, ribs were tender and bbq sauce reminds me of KC. The only downside was I didn't like the jalapeño cheese sausage. appeared to be big chunks of cheese.it did not reheat well and greasy. It is outside so be prepared to stand in line. I will definitely add it to my list of acceptable bbq places.“

“Walking in reminded us of our old time Italian Steakhouse. Great ambiance. When you walk in you are immediately taken to a display of the house specialties and each is described in detail. Next to that is a small Antipasto “Bar” that you can order from and it will be dished up by your server. We were lucky enough to have Arturo as our waiter and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations. My husband had the dover sole and I had the Filet Dianana. Both were finished and served table side and both were amazing. There is so much more to say about this place but I will finish with we will definately be back many more times!!!!“

“Cute atmosphere and nice staff. It was my first time there and I ordered the cherry pie. The filling was gummy( too much starch) and too sweet. The crust was not the flakiest and overall just an average pie. They don't offer tea or coffee which is strange for a place that sells pastry. If I ever go back I will not order warm pie again.“

“My partner and I tried this place on a whim after a long day, and we are so glad we did. This place is amazing.To start, the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. It is genuinely some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The garlic knots they set as table bread were so dense and flavorful they could be an appetizer all on their own. The red sauce was phenomenal. We got entrees and each came with a house salad as a starter and the Red Wine Vinegar dressing was legitimately AMAZING. It was phenomenal. We got fried ravioli as our starter and they were so good. The ricotta was perfectly seasoned and the ravioli were fried to perfection with awesome breading with herbs and Parmesan cheese. Our entrees came out and they were mountains of food and they were absolutely delicious. I got chicken parmigiana and my partner got tortellini in vodka sauce. We also got a calzone to split and didn’t expect it to be as huge and delicious as it was. The sauce is all house made, the chicken parmigiana was quite frankly the best I’ve ever had, and the calzone was stuffed to bursting with ricotta and was phenomenal. Everything was delicious and in heaping portions that left even me, a notorious black hole, tapping out. We had plenty of leftovers to take home to enjoy later. We got cannoli for dessert and while I have never liked cannoli, I’ve also never had a cannoli like THAT. It was just as surprising and wonderful as everything else. 5/5 stars for food and quality.Our service was top-notch. Our server was perfectly attentive, honest, funny, and very kind to us. I wish I had caught her name but she was wonderful. Our food was out relatively quickly, but with the courses, conversation, and her attentiveness it felt fast as you’d like it to be. Never had to ask for anything, never had to call her over but not in a disturbing or overbearing way. She also told great stories and had recommendations that were perfect. 5/5Atmosphere is to be expected from a hole in the wall restaurant, in my opinion you aren’t coming for the looks, you’re coming to get FED. “Met a buddy to watch an afternoon baseball game. When I first got there I noticed they were playing music, it was louder than I would have liked but the music was ok. We ordered an appetizer, Mozzarella balls, which were delivered quickly. They were hot and tasted good. Then we ordered the brisket sandwich. The sandwich was really good, the fries were a little soggy they could have been crisper. Our server took good care of us with just the right amount of attention.Once we started watching the baseball game I tuned out the music and didn't notice it anymore. We also watched the Masters golf tournament. There were at least two other baseball games on that I watched a little. Good food and many TV screens to watch, what more do you want?“

Brussel sprouts appetizer was great and my black and blue burger was fantastic! The added jalapeños were just the right heat! Onion rings were amazing! The vegan blackbean burger was a little disappointing. It didn't have a lot of flavor and just fell apart, needed more binder to keep things together. That said, still a solid 4 out of 5 and we'll be back if only for that black and blue burger. Wednesday its half off!!!“
“My family stopped here while traveling. The food was good. My husband enjoyed the fish tacos. Our children dined on chicken strips and fries, and the other Mexican rice and beef taco plus queso. The children ate well and enjoyed their food and definitely loved the queso. My FIL enjoyed steak tacos and beans and rice. We also ordered the ceviche it was a tad fishy for our personal preference. I didn't even order one with lots of meats in it. I understand that quality meat is expensive, but that's a lot for a sub in my opinion. Otherwise it was great.“
