“Last night was date night with the husband. We decided to book our first murder mystery dinner with Messina! I gotta say, we were very happy. It was ‘murder me im Irish’ theme.One, the building is in historic grapevine and is just beautiful. I love the historic homes.I’m not a huge alcohol drinker, so I was BEYOND estática when they had a non-alcoholic drink for me. It was very sweet (think welche’s grape juice- sparkling), and lasted the night.Our dinner was upstairs in a private area. Everybody who came was dressed up, and ready to participate, which is always a bonus. There was a large crowd. Maybe 30 people? The upstairs isn’t large. So if felt like more.The dinner isteself is a little pricey ($200 for 2 people), but worth it in my option. They had decorated for the night, served us 3 courses, and it seemed like it was an open wine bar?Our servers were prompt, the dinner stayed on schedule, and the food was honestly delicious. It might look like small portions, but it fills you up fast.Our murder host was fabulous and upbeat. Loud.At the end of the night, I was the only one to solve the murder! But they had awards for best dressed, and best actor.Highly recommend“
“Great experience looking forward to visiting again very soon. Celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary and CTW did not disappoint. The property is amazing, large oak tree and pecan tree, gazebo, large barn for events. Our wine tender, Chris, was very attentive and went out to the barn and brought the bottle of wine we ordered to our table. We also enjoyed the Teeter Twins live music. We will share our great experience with friends and will inquire about joining their wine club. Highly recommend the Grapevine White wine.“

I found the wines not very complex-thus my score. My friend and husband loved the wines. I came already to join but could't find one besides dugout that I liked. The rose is supposed to be good but we didn't taste that. Summary Fun, local winery. Totally Texas grown and packaged wines. Wide selection.“
“Nice selection of wines and a full bar, but the burgers are insane! It's hard to believe a Grapevine wine bar has 1 of the best burgers I've ever tasted. Fries were crispy good too. The service was great- I will be coming back here every chance I get!“

“Talk about discovering something on a whim!! We came here after a day of exploring at the nearby nature preserve not long ago. Of course we were needing sustenance after a fun day outdoors so we stopped by this place. I am not big on local wines, but really enjoyed their selection!! The owners are wonderful too. Even the bathrooms were pristine, clean and smelled of my favorite relaxing lavender. Great place to unwind after work or a workout, kick back and enjoy the vibes! I believe they do live music on certain days as well. We need more quaint wonderful places like this in the world! I have a few more wines to try so I will return to explore more.“

“I stopped in here while our family was on vacation at Great Wolf Lodge. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I browsed the whiskey section primarily, but they did have a wide variety of spirits, wine, and beer. The store is well organized and clearly labeled. While there, I was able to find a bottle that was a bucket list item for me. I even had the opportunity to share which brings me great joy. If you're in the area or even within a 20-30 minute drive, swing on by. You won't regret it.“

“Always wanted to check this place out and finally went tonight on our anniversary. Very nice place and Gena was friendly and hospitable. She was great suggesting wines we would like as my wife and I have opposite taste when it comes to wine. Our experience with some of the regulars made us feel welcome. Can't wait to join the wine club and meet the other wine enthusiasts like we are. A must visit if you live in the DFW area.“
“I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday with my two boys! I love being a #boymom and experiencing wine tasting with them! This was our first time at Silver Dollar and although we had a few tastings we didn't like, I left with three purchased bottles. The 2020 Malbec was absolutely one for the books! “Great options for sweet wines, most of which having peach incorporated. For the tasting you get 5 1.5oz pours, which is very generous compared to others I've been to. Despite it being very busy when I went I did not have to wait long at the bar for the next wine tasting pours.“
