“I loved this restaurant! The food is exquisite!! Our waitress did a great job too! I went with my friend to celebrate her birthday and they brought us a flan that was delicious.!!! The perfect chimichurri! And the black bean pasta is beyond amazing! ?“
“"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu“
“I ordered the chicken and spinach quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole. It was wonderful. I also enjoyed the black bean dip along with the other salsas. The service was quick, and the food came out hot. I would highly recommend Gloria's.“
“Never have a bad time at Gloria's. Carne asada was one of the best things we have eaten in a while. Cooked perfectly. My Adobe pork was an 8/10. Great, but a touch dry. I could bathe in the black bean soup. Great drinks, but I could really, really use a few cocktails on the menu that aren't all fruity or sweet. But the cocktails we did have were fire. One was a margarita with St. Germaine>fire. Another, a mezcal marg with chamoy-kind of drink>FIRE! Keep those, please. Great service at the bar. It's always a good time. Could use a few more vegetables on the menu, though. I feel like any time I go to Gloria's or go to a Tex-Mex place (I know G's is not Tex-Mex, it's Salvadorian), it's 100% beans, meat, and cheese. A couple of salads are the only green options. I could use some hot vegetable sides, too. I know Latin Americans eat vegetables.“
“This spot never misses! Every time my husband and our family come, they’ve always greeted us warmly. The meat is always flavorful and tender, they got the best frijoles in the business (I don’t say that lightly coz everyone else’s beans I’ve tried thus far has been subpar) homemade tortillas BOMB! This will always be our go to local spot for Latin food.“
“It was pretty good, the food was alright, it was a little coldest and hard to bite because the steak seemed to be not well cooked. When we got there, the lady was on the phone and we didn't say anything until she was done, even when she was giving us the menu, she was still on the phone and not paying attention to us. I would have appreciated it if next time done doing what you're doing, or let us know that you will be helping us out in a minute because the communication talks so much about your skills.“
“Love this place. The ladies that work here were really nice and helpful first time I was here. I came back here 2nd time and it was even better. The food here is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Irving area. Cash only! There is an atm right next door.“
“Really good pupusas, Guadalupe was very helpful placing an order over the phone. The only thing is that they hardly put any cheese in the beans and cheese pupusa. Other than that, they are very tasty and reasonable for the amount I purchased.“
“The lady at the counter seemed visibly upset by the fact that I don't speak Spanish, but the sweet bread was so good I don't even care. They had some kind of popover that had a crescent texture with cream cheese and what I'm guessing was guava jelly inside... It was insanely scrumptious!!!“
“Food is delicious, the tacos were good tortillas look like they are hand made. The torta was decent size the taste of the pastor was incredible, the green salsa is perfect! It has a small kick of spice which allows you to enjoy your food. 9 out 10“
“I came here last night on a whim, ordered a random variety of food like the pupusas, carne asada, and pollo asada. I had to take it togo for dinner at work, and it was still hot in the box twenty minutes later. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) was delicious!! So delicious that I skipped breakfast to return for pupusas, and the sandwich de pollo, another new item. I could live off of the pupusas. Those are my new favorite food.“
“The plátano fritos and pupusa variety is a big plus. They are my go to for catering my family events. They are always on time and package the food in an organized way. The customer service is wonderful and you can tell they are a faith filled family that operate a small business with a lot of teamwork! Thank you for serving the Irving community even through the pandemic.“
“The food was fantastic! We tried empanadas, tamales, and a canoa. The staff member there did not speak english at all, so if you don't speak spanish ordering could be a little challenging. The staff member there was wonderful! She answered our questions and genuinely seemed happy. They had a great selection of menu items. I definitely plan to go back.“
“Just found my new go to spot! Stumbled across this place on accident and so happy to have done so. Immediately noticed the home cooking/hole in the wall vibes and I’ve always loved that. We tried the carnitas, beef fajita and pastor tacos along with a cheese and chicharrón con queso pupusas. 10/10 will definitely be back for the menudo and posole on the weekends.“
