“Authentic German schnitzel, kraut, wurst, and salat. This would be a great place to gather with friends. If I would go there with a large group I would call ahead. The place is big enough but they might need to arrange for a larger staff.Parking: Large parking lotKid-friendliness: Kid options on menu“
“Love this place i travel 3hour from Houston and 3 hours back to Houston every few weeks because this is the best place for german bread and pastries and cakes and more.We do have a german store in Pearland and thats great however when it comes to fresh bread and cakes and meat pfeifer is great.“
“This midwestern gal loves a good BPT but they are few and far between here in Central Texas. Checkpoint Germany food truck was at Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown, Tx for Oktoberfest so I decided to try their schnitzel plate. It looked like a breaded pork tenderloin so I took it home and turned it into a sandwich. It was da bomb.Good breading, not greasy, just the right thickness and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes tasted like my Oma's.Highly recommend. And recommend this be sold as a sandwich called the BPT schnitzel. It will attract and satisfy the plethora of Hoosiers and Hawkeyes longing for a taste of home.“
“Opas really makes you feel at home! The food tastes like family made it, and the staff go out of their way to remember you and make you feel important. Every bite is absolutely phenomenal, and their outside seating on a warm spring day just pulls the entire picture together. My family and I came before I gave birth and after with our new baby, and the staff was so excited for me and fawned over my family like they were part of it. Truely, the atmosphere of this place is as perfect and home made as the food they serve. I strongly recommend a visit to this establishment.“
