Very good atmosphere and nice people with good customer service. The food was good except we ordered the chicken and dressing special, but it was mostly dressing and no chicken. We took it back to the front and the lady took a look and said the recipe called for chicken so I'm sure it's in there somewhere. . You can't make this stuff up.
I’ve been going to Herschel’s since it first opened up in Mt pleasant. My dad built that first parking lot over 40 plus years ago. Other than, a disrespectful young girl that I had words in Henderson with, it’s been completely pleasant place! I’ll continue to patronize Herschel’s. Hi Bill! ? The staff are very nice and the place has a nice, traditional diner feel until you have to stare at the electronic menu above the counter. I think that menus at the tables continues the diner tradition feel. I'm confident that they have some dish that is really delish but the tacos remind me of bland cafeteria fare. I'll try them again because I really want them to be in biz for a long time to come.
