I got coffee from the trailer outside of the location and it was delicious. The lady was sweet too!

Cute place! The bathroom had a bit of a door lock issue, and the paper towels had run out, but the drinks were affordable and good. We had a cold brew with vanilla and cream and a chai latte. Zucchini bread was yummy! They had outdoor seating with swings and tables, and the indoor area was very spacious. It used to be an old house. They even had a small area with toys for kids to play. Didn't get pictures because it was a quick stop.

Children's play area with kid kitchen! This alone makes it the perfect spot for a meal in Hico if you're travelling with young kids. Great atmosphere. Cozy. Cool remodeled house. Variety of easy food. Baked goods. Coffee.

Got the $9.00 ($11.50 with tax and tip) Reuben Stromboli. Soggy like a wet sponge on outside but searingly hot on inside (burned roof of my mouth) with very little meat and sauerkraut. Clearly just something taken from fridge and popped into the microwave and heated too long. Buy coffee here but walk across the street to Sonic if you want a sandwich.

Nice cozy coffee shop.. had a chance to stop here in our way to San Antonio. They have great coffee and a lot of bakery options
Stopped by Hico for a coffee break, while on a road trip with my family. Was curious to learn more about the city, hoping for a new experience, instead of just visiting the common local coffee place. How exciting was to visit 2nd St Bakeshop and Coffee. The owner was very friendly, and shared info about her business ran in this Victorian style home, built in 1855, transformed in this amazing bakery and coffee shop. it’s a special and unique place and I felt very lucky to have stopped by. We had excellent lattes in ceramic cups and also a delicious expresso. It is a must if you are in Hico!

Lovely little coffee shop with something for everyone. Sweet and savory treats, vast array of beverages, a chill vibe, games, indoor/ outdoor seating and even an AirBnB suite.

What a charming find!!! Not only did we get coffee but also got to check out the quaint house turned into coffee Shop and Airbnb. Love the chill ambience and great coffee selection. We've marked this one our map for when we're passing through again.

Quaint coffee shop in an adorable setting in a home built in 1883! Friendly staff & very helpful in making our choices. My husband & I split a cheeseburger calzone & piece of German chocolate cake-delicious!I purchased one of their cute mugs for my tea or hot chocolate. Definitely a must stop!
