Stopped by Hico for a coffee break, while on a road trip with my family. Was curious to learn more about the city, hoping for a new experience, instead of just visiting the common local coffee place. How exciting was to visit 2nd St Bakeshop and Coffee. Cute place! The bathroom had a bit of a door lock issue, and the paper towels had run out, but the drinks were affordable and good. We had a cold brew with vanilla and cream and a chai latte. Zucchini bread was yummy!They had outdoor seating with swings and tables, and the indoor area was very spacious. It used to be an old house. They even had a small area with toys for kids to play. Didn't get pictures because it was a quick stop.
