This place holds it own against any Dfw restaurant!The menu is incredible, well thought out, and executed. We had dinner and brunch there. I had a beef tenderloin chicken fried steak that was hands down the best I ever had. The steak my wife had was perfect. The red chile chicken and brisket cheddar biscuit for brunch was amazing. Desserts were top level. We had a bananas foster cake and chocolate torte that rivals Eddie V's. We also stayed at the hotel and watched a concert nearby. Great little weekend getaway. 5 stars

OMGF “1 magnificently great food”, this place has set the bar for cuisine. Our whole party was absolutely astonished at the flavors experienced in our dishes. Watch out DFW your in the cross hairs and this chef Eric is going to bag y’all. Every bite was a true masterpiece of deliciousness! The sides were no where disappointing. And the desert had everyone at the table’s eyes crossed. Not only my recommendation but the critics at my table placed this as one of the best meals they’ve ever experienced. On another note was our waitress LouAnne, not only very professional and intuitive but she was so much fun especially being in her Right mind wink wink. The best part it was reasonable in price.

Great little place inside of the hotel. Very unique menu and very tasty food. Alexia was a great server and very beautiful to look at as well.Parking: There are limited number of street parking spots available on Pecan street and around the building, but a block away there was a gravel lot that was free with plenty of space if you don't mind the walk
We love this place! Have never had a bad meal and man, that hamburger is the best I’ve ever had. The smoked meatloaf?is wonderful. But the beef tenderloin chicken fried steak is out of this world!
A little pricey, but delicious! Very neat historic building made into a steakhouse with a hometown Western flare. Steak was well worth it!

The Chef, Eric Hunter punched Damon Mayfield in the ribs and kicked his mustang several times for riding on the sidewalk in front of the business and almost got bucked off - tried to fight another guy and a buddy for trying to protect Damon and his new Mustang!! There is no Ordnance in Hico,Tx that says it's illegal to ride your horse on the sidewalk - police said it's totally legal!! What's not legal is what he just did - Damon didn't press charges of course. I'll never go there again unless this POS is gone for good!This behavior is disgusting.
