I had the opportunity to visit Hico, Texas. Silver Spur Vineyard and Winery and their wine tasting boutique winery tasting room. I always enjoy meeting the wine makers in person. Excellent wine and great conversation with a very knowledgable and very dedicated wine maker/owner ? worth the trip! Don't forget to eat at the Chop House a few doors down afterwards! (Popcorn place in the other direction makes some great spicy popcorn mix too!)

We went for the first time today and were very impressed! It was the first time I ever loved every wine I tried at a tasting! It will have to be for special occasions because it a tad pricey (only $28 and $32 for most) since we usually share an entire bottle most nights! Shhhh! We will be enjoying this for Valentine’s Day and buying it again for sure!
