“Our server was awesome. As she was taking our appetizer order the female manager(Daniella) decided to yell across the restaurant at our waitress. She told her to stop what you’re doing and come get the food. She came back to take our order crying and informed us she was told to take our order then clock out and go home. That didn’t sit well with me. I almost said something but thought not my place to do so though I probably should have. That manager really needs a reality check and maybe some time off to maybe make a change in the way she treats employees and guests as well.“

“We have all of our retirement parties here. We reserve a room downstairs. They let you decorate the room however you want. They can supplie a bar and stock it with whatever you like. It can be an open bar, or you can give limited drink tickets. The food always comes out hot and yummy. And the servers are always nice. “Went for lunch with the wife at 2:00 pm. Restaurant clean. All the employees including the owner were super nice. Our food was fresh and great. We decided to have margarita. Sorry no pics. Best part it was happy hour so $5 for one was great and then the boss stopped by and gave us another shot to fill our glass back up on the house. Not the greatest I've had but I will definitely will get another one on our next visit. Overall everytime we go there we are always welcomed with open arms and the food has always been fresh and on point.“

“Place is cramped and the building is old. If you can get passed that, you'll have some of the best micheladas out there. The place is nice and affordable. The service may not be there but everyone is nice and just trying to get through all the chaos. I recommend you sitting inside the building instead of facing the windows. It's much easier to get help and service on the inside seats. Just a little protip. If you never been.If you come from the Katy location. You'll be surprised. I say wait to go to Tom's boat until you are back in Katy. Tom's boat very much reflects the east side vibe if you know what I mean. I love the place. It's not a knock. I'm from the east side too.“

“This place is great! Five of us went in for takeout and EVERYONE was pleased. When I tell you how rare of a feat that is for a large Italian family… I had the steak sandwich (which was definitely more like a chicken fried steak) and it was delicious. Other orders were the chicken sandwich, the seafood platter, the fish Po boy and a chicken salad. Most of us had onion rings and the general consensus was that we all thought they were some of the best onion rings we’d ever had. Fries were also great. Service was great. It’s a dive, make no mistake but I’ll take it if it means the food is good. And the prices were actually reasonable! Five stars for the Galley. If I didn’t live out of state I’d promise to be back.“

“20 Degrees outside today and every restaurant was closed except this place. Thought I'd give it a try as I've never been here before. It was very good and everything was on point. I got the huevos rancheros with three eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon, and it came with Pancakes. Also got coffee. It was only $10! I think it was too cheap but very good. They need to go up on their prices as I know they have bills to pay. Left her a $10 tip on top of the ticket.I had to drive to the other end of town to find a restaurant that was open and this is the only one I can find because of freezing weather. Everybody was closed, but they were on duty and Cooks were ready to give you a good meal. I'll be back to enjoy the wonderful food.“

The 2 chicken and 1 cheese enchiladas were OK. Spanish is the language there, with the tv playing a news station in Spanish. “This restaurant has a wonderful staff! They also have the absolute BEST tamales I’ve ever had! They are humongous, fresh made upon request (they will make them for you with at least 2 hour notice) and they are not dry at all. They are stuffed with filling and not just a bunch of masa. “Omg! This place has really good food. Our party of 15 tried out a lot of their food and EVERYONE raved about their dish. I had shrimp and grits. I'm really picky about that dish. Grits we're cooked right, creamy and I wanted more. Shrimp cooked perfection. They have a great chef. Price very reasonable $10-20 at lunch time. Our waitress was great considering we came without warning but she handled us and our separate checks perfectly. This will become a favorite.“

“Been great since day one and keeps on getting better. I've been buying crawfish since when they only sold them live from the back. They have amazing deals throughout the season. Love the seasoning of the everything. The staff is very nice, especially the manager Manny he's such a great guy. Great out side setup with fans for the heat and heaters for the cold and a speaker for some music.“
