“The people are nice...the bartenders are good...I think the owners aren't familiar with bar business. I bartended there for 3 shifts...I've never been so scrutinized and over worked in my entire life. Been in bar biz for 18 years. No breaks, no relief for meal, nothing.12 hour shifts on feet.literally like 17 glasses in whole place, so I was constantly washing and serving, nobbarback, which was fine...but the place got kinda rowdy and the female owner seemed nonchalant about safety issues. Great location close to home and great prices. No food menus ...I was literally fired for taking a break after on my feet for almost 10 hours with zero break...oh, and the owners rude friend claimed i ignored her after i served her 4 drinks, because I had to use the bathroom.What do I know I'm just the TABC licensed and trained bartender.The nighttime bartender is cool and it seems more laid back because its not owner hangout drama...definitely cool spot close to home“

“Went for a concert and enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is NOT open during concerts with limited food offerings based on VIP seating or not. There is a dance floor and reserved seating, plenty of parking, and great sound! Enjoyed our first visit!“

“I’ve been coming here for over 2 years…I’ve never been disappointed with anything about this place. My lady and I have always ordered the BLT’s which let me tell you are hands down the best you will ever try. I’ve never been a fan of BLT’s, but this place was a game changer. So today we decided to get ballsy and try a burger, which my wife is a hardcore critic of…and honestly I was very skeptical at best. The chef said challenged accepted. He absolutely killed it!! I would have to say the Big Double was the best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and trust me my wife knows the difference. Seasoning on point. Extras crisp and on point. I can’t believe we’ve been missing out for 2 years on this. Look of your serious about your food and you feel constantly disappointed by the places you waste you money on, do yourself a favor and check out Thunder. The bartenders are awesome, the chef is phenomenal and people there are great! Seriously, stop wasting your money and time anywhere else. Check it out one time and I promise you’ll be back. “I drove 25 miles just to go try the burger and I firmly believe this place has the BEST burgers in Houston by far! 9oz of pure satisfaction, not including the bun and extras on there. Everything was excellent; the service, the cleaningness, the bun, the fries, the party, everything. I highly recommend this place! Even if you have to drive 25 miles…it’s worth it!“

“My wife and I have been coming to this bar for a few years now. Its our favorite bar in Cypress. Good food, great drinks and the service is amazing. The manager is always walking around greeting customers and making sure they are alright. Which is something you rarely see at other places. I give it a 10/10.“

“I was staying at La Quinta and smelled their food when on my way to check in. I caved. Reasonably priced, small town restaurant feel in a bustling city, great waitress who helped me by giving her opinion on astrophotography I was editing, and great food. I'll likely visit again next time I'm in the area.“
