I managed to exit from a podiatrist appointment at the Houston VA Hospital last week and decided a deli visit somewhere was in order. I did a Google search and found that the Houston's Famous Deli was only a mile or so away. I arrived a bit before 11 a.m. and so there was no crowd at all. I took a look at their menu and decided upon a ham muffaletta. We love this terrific sandwich/soup deli. Specials daily are tasty with non traditional seasonings. Bread, buns are fresh made and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Perfect place to eat.

Great, quick breakfast, restaurant was clean, service was excellent. I am visiting from Florida and saw the great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Mike and his staff made us feel like we were guest in his home. The food was great and the prices are very reasonable.
