Xochi
“Easily one of the highlights of my business trip. I’m so glad we stopped here. The sangria was perfect and the tuna ceviche was unreal. Even though we stayed a bit, service was continuously friendly and talked us into a coffee as well. Also, the portions were much more realistic and refreshing.”

Katami
“When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. It did take our server to get to us a good 10 minutes before talking and telling us what the concept and food recommendations were. The setting of the restaurant is clean, and airy due to the sun room setting on one side of the restaurant. To start us off, we did some drinks that were good but did not find any favourites. The two cold starters were: Hamachi Yuzu: 2/5 because the yuzu yoghurt was overpowering and the kombu powder left a sandy grit texture on the teeth that made it almost annoying to eat. Could barely taste the hamachi. Madai Carpaccio: 1/5 because the crunchy togarashi and black sesame soy sauce enveloped the Madai and the saucy component was too strong to complement the fish. Oyster with caviar was fresh and briny. Very tasty. 5/5. Would recommend avoiding the cold starters besides the oysters and moving straight to the nigiri and hot components of the menu. From the nigiri portion, we ordered: Hotate, salmon, gizzard shad, akami, amaebi and madai. Fresh, fatty, flavoursome cuts of delicious fish. Definitely recommend, 5/5. Also, tried the Olive A5 wagyu nigiri with black truffle and it was unctuous and absolute yum! From their hot portion, we got the baby back ribs, iberico shumai, and lobster with sake miso. The baby back ribs were falling off the bone, tender and seasoned to perfection. The shumai was good with a pipette of ponzu sauce. The lobster was rich, not overcooked and the panko with the miso sake lent it a Mac and cheese-esque quality to it. Would definitely get these again. For dessert go the Japanese melon which was sweet and juicy and had none of the chemical aftertaste that is found in the fruits here in the states. The green tea kakigori was airy and light. Usually not a fan of red bean ice cream or desserts but this one came with a really nice red bean ice cream. Would have liked the portion to be more to balance out the shaved ice. Overall it was a great time! Price wise it was affordable for the amount of food we ordered.”

“If I could give more stars I absolutely would. This place is located in a strip mall looking area but inside is amazing. Beautiful ambiance and seriously fantastic service at totally affordable prices. Wine was a little pricey though. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the vegan soba salad and mango sorbet. We also tried the mango shaved ice which was phenomenal.Vegetarian options: Not as many options as I would have expected.Dietary restrictions: Not many dairy free options.Parking: Parking lot that severes the strip is very accessible. We had no trouble finding a spot right in front.”

“My girlfriends and I went for Ladies night and had the most amazing time. Finally an upscale place, with such a stylish vibe, great food, but most of all the MUSIC was top tier. We for sure will be back.”

Anvil
“Anvil is, without a doubt, my favorite cocktail bar. And that's not just within Houston. The consistent quality of their cocktails is simply unrivaled. They have a rotating selection of featured cocktails, but half the time I order from their list of 100 classics because they craft them to near-perfection (sometimes perfection, if I'm being honest). Yesterday, I tried a new one containing shōchū, reposado tequila, and black sesame... my adjectives wouldn't do justice to the simple elegance and brilliance of that cocktail. They don't offer happy hour nor outdoor seating. There are probably ~15-20 seats at the bar and then 8-12 booths along the windows, each of which fits 4-5 people. The bartenders are always amazing, their knowledge of the craft is impressive. At the end of the day, Anvil isn't trying to rope you in with trendy fads nor great deals. But I suspect you'll be back for a return visit, because they're serving the highest-quality cocktails in town”

“Until I came here, I was reluctant to eat sushi in America. Most of the restaurants are run by people who have never been to Japan, and when we say sushi, it's rolls or sticky rice sushi, but this restaurant was different.I was able to speak with the owner, who said he had actually been to Japan, and the sushi rice and toppings were so good that I couldn't believe that they were available in America. The most delicious dish was the haburi kama.It reminded me of my mother's grilled kama that I ate in Japan. The price is a bit high, but if you can get this quality in America, it's worth it.It was the best sushi I've had in America!”
“This little food truck has so many options to pick from. I'm totally in love with their pineapple water and frito pie. Their service is great, and prices are mid range for a snack stand. They also have amazing corn in the cup. I recommend the agua preparada the chocolate smoothie as well.”
“It is unfortunate that I did not take a before picture of the custom-ordered cake. However, I must say that the cake was exceptionally delicious, particularly the frosting. I am not usually a big fan of cake due to the overly sweet frosting, but this one struck the perfect balance. Surprisingly, it tasted even better the next day. I highly recommend this establishment. I had previously contacted three other cake shops, but none of them responded. A fourth one I called was unhelpful over the phone and directed me to their website. I apologize for not remembering the name of the individual I spoke with at this store, but she was incredibly helpful and accommodating to my schedule. If she happens to read this review, I hope she recalls the "cancer cake" she made for my wife. My sincere gratitude to her.”
“I went to Little’s Oyster Bar for my birthday celebrated. I enjoyed the blue crab oysters, broccolini, and grouper. The waitstaff was very attentive to most of our needs. I would recommend this for a special occasion.Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian”
“We had dinner at the restaurant in Huston and it was a great night . We had an excellent dinner amazing service and very friendly staff. Habit and Keith were amazing and were friendly.”
“I am speechless. The food was INCREDIBLE. I was floored at how delicious and tasty everything was.The Caesar salad was delicious-the dressing had a spice to it but balanced well with the slight sweetness from the croutons.I would eat this salad everyday. The chicken Vincent was also delicious. The flavors from the Balsamic and the sun-dried tomatoes--wow.The seafood lasagna is a MUST. That sauce is what dreams are made of. It was phenomenal! For dessert we had the puddin 4 layer and it was divine. So rich and creamy. We also ordered coffee which was legit... not some watered down coffee. Quality 10/10.The chef himself came out to introduce himself and check on our food. He also gave his recommendations based on what we liked. The ambience could be better--it's a small place and everyone's close to each other. However, the food is definitely the best Italian in Houston--the other instagrammable places don't even come close. I am so glad this place isn't all over social media yet. It's definitely a hidden gem and the quality is far superior to any other Italian restaurant in Houston. I cannot wait to come back!!”

“Went for my BIRTHDAY dinner 2/16 . From the decor, the music, the customer service, & the FOOD EVERYTHING was amazing! My party of 2 truly enjoyed. Would return if I’m ever back in Houston TX.”

“They have something special juicing here at this healthy food truck. The two ladies behind the counter are always welcoming and hard at work to make sure I’m taken care of. First healthy food truck/restaurant of a sea of a thousand that makes me look forward to coming back. I hope they become a small part of Houston culture over the many years to come. They seem to be at hermann park Sundays and rice village on Sundays at the farmers market. Cheers ?Dietary restrictions: Stephanie is a whiz at all the healthy stuffKid-friendliness: Lots of kids and dogs, sunshine etc come on out.”

“Came here for the first time with a group of 5…and it was one of the BEST experiences. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Janice who showed us to the table. Our waiter was Felix and his menu knowledge was phenomenal. Last but not least, my group could not decide which wine to order until Tia patiently took the time to help us. The level of knowledge and expertise at this place is a 10/10. I will definitely recommend this place and come back.”
“A co worker recommend this place few weeks ago and OMG !!! I have fallen in love. My favorite so far is the huli huli chicken. We order at least once a week now from here. So glad I gave this place a chance.”
“The service was excellent! The food was good. However, the portions are very small. My wife ordered the mahi. It could not have been bigger that 5 oz. My kids (17 and 20) all wanted steak. But, a simple 8oz filet was $83 vs, a standard $50 at Flemmings or Ruth's Chris. Therefore I decided to share the 22 oz Waugh ribeye with my kids. It was the only economical choice. It was not enough food. On the plus side. The waiter was excellent!”

“Such a fun place with fantastic service. The staff is so friendly — they go above and beyond to make sure that you are well taken care of. Not to mention, the food is amazing. Ordered the shrimp po boy and it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Had an amazing fried chicken and waffle that was just put on the menu. The bartender/barista was incredibly friendly and made a great Americano. Going at odd hours of the day, I got to see the team interact with one another organically. It was a great experience and there are outlets under the bar for remote workers.”
“One of the very best Omakasa experiences we have ever had. My wife and I went for our anniversary but as twist we brought our young daughters so they could experience what we love. The staff and chef were amazing and so accommodating! The quality of the food and ingredients alone was worth the experience, however the staff put this place over the top! This will be a frequent place we visit when we come to Houston!”
“Fantastic food, flavor, and service. And the Old Fashioned was also very well done. A definite place to return to.We went with the Chef's Discovery menu on our first visit to Le Jardinier. So glad we did.”
“10 out of 10. Have been here several time. Earth is hands down the best and a large part of the reason we go back aside from the food. He’s so pleasant and elevates the experience.”

“This was a lot of fun! The experience from start to finish was delightful, imaginative and intimate. The food was on point and very elevated as expected at this price point. The service was fantastic, as the setup allows for the chef to have plenty of interaction with the guests and Chef Marcos was very engaging and enthusiastic about explaining the different techniques, fish and his own sushi history with us as we dined. My wife and I are no novices to sushi, omakase or tasting menus in general and this experience was both unique and memorable. I should note the restaurant is BYOB, they did share a sake shot welcome cheers for everyone and the passion fruit mocktail was excellent.”

“Food was amazing, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect. Went here on a first date and thoroughly enjoyed it.We had the whipped ricotta, and tartare, I had the spinach ravioli. The ravioli was just ok but their espresso martini and regular espresso was heaven”
“TLDR: The slow service impaired the dining experience, and the passive aggressive gratuity procedure degrades the image of this restaurant. We just went here for a nice family dinner. They have a good variety of food choices. The tortilla soup and cioppino were both excellent, as were the confit potatoes. The strip steak had good flavor. The seafood beignets was unique but nothing spectacular and the roasted cauliflower was just ok. As for the desserts, the blockbuster was pretty good. The carrot cake was nothing special. What really needs improvement is the service. The waiter was slow in coming for each step of the ordering process and dining experience, and we had to flag him down twice. Also, the soup i ordered arrived at the same time as my entree, instead of being brought out with the appetizers. At least the lady that filled our water was always prompt. We ended up spending 2.5 hrs there due to slow service. Then, a 20% tip was printed onto our bill. At the bottom of the check (not disclosed on the menu), it says that a “suggested gratuity” is added for all parties of 8 or more, but we only had 5 people in our party (2 adults and 3 kids). It also says, the guest has "right to determine the final amount, free from compulsion or negotiation,” yet there it is printed onto the bill, and another line labeled “Additional Tip” below. For the level of service we received, I would’ve tipped 18% max. While I certainly could have argued it, the dinner took so long i just wanted to leave. It wasn’t much extra money, but of course that is not the point, and, it left me with a negative impression of this establishment.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu”
“I went last night with my mom and best friend to celebrate my moms birthday. When I say it was the best birthday dinner she's ever had, I am not lying. Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! The service was excellent, our cups were always full and our table was very clean at all times. The chickpea crepe, sourdough, and escargot were amazing! The ravioli, broccolini, and steak were so flavorful. We ate every bite. Phenomenal experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you all! My mom was so happy.”
“We were lucky enough to get the last service by Chef Jonathan. We had his Kobe fair well tour! And he made our experience amazing! We had recently had their parent restaurant Hidden Omakase and we enjoyed it but was recommended to try this joint for a lower price point and shorter meal.So for dinner they do 45 mins and they start on time so make sure you come a little early and take some pictures in the nft gallery out front. If you park it’s to the left of the Italian restaurant and has no signage.Once seated they get started right on the dot. But even though it’s a short service Jonathan explained what we were getting in great detail. We got better interaction here with the crew than at Hidden Omakase. It’s a younger group and more fun and lively. The Engawa was the best thing I have ever eaten at any sushi restaurant. This thing is life changing. And you’re able to get an extra piece as an a la carte add on. Do it!!! You will not regret it.My wife and I were so impressed, we will definitely be back and at this price point we can come more often.Best of luck on your next Journey chef Jonathan your skills will truly be missed here.”
“This is an amazing sushi place that starts with great sushi. Next the service is worth the visit. Lastly the decor is sharp and minimalist. The music is enough to enjoy without having to talk loudly. It's been a challenge to find the balance, but they are getting it right”

“While visiting the Houston area from North Carolina, my wife insisted we have a Texas steak given that Texas is known to be a big cattle/beef exporter and it's history. When asking around for a good place to have a non commercialized steakhouse meal, this restaurant was brought to our attention by locals and with the good reviews while not being too far away, we had to give it a try. Attire for the customers was casual to semi formal. Once in the restaurant, you are immediately submerged into a lineage of Texas history as the walls are covered with artifacts from the area. Definitely had a Texas feel to it. The staff was attentive, well dressed and spoken. For an appetizer, we had the quail and it was, in my opinion, the best part of the meal. We ordered a cowboy ribeye which was great but nothing that solidified it as the best steak ever. The salad bar was clean with fresh ingredients and was actually recommended by another couple while we were waiting, stating that if they could choose one thing there to have, it would be the salad bar. The cheese blocks definitely were noteworthy. Brussel sprouts on the side which were okay, followed up by pecan pie. The food was good but not exactly why I would say they are 5 stars. The service and decor is definitely where you spend your money. If you're visiting Texas and want a Texas steakhouse experience and your budget is not tight then I would recommend it. Seating was a little tight to navigate through but manageable. There was a 30 minute wait. The server informed us that this steakhouse in particular was the #1 selling privately owned/non commercialized steakhouse in Texas and #13 in the United States. With tip, we paid right at $200 for 1 appetizer, 1 cowboy ribeye, 1 side of brussel sprouts, 2 salads, glass of water, 1 Dr pepper, and 2 slices of pie. The servings were of good portion.”

“So we were looking for something local and near the neighborhood and we found it!! I couldn’t believe this place had been open for 4+ years and we have been driving past it this whole time!! Kudos to the cook who prepared our food we tried the egg rolls, chilaquiles and quesadilla. Food was tasty warm and delicious. We definitely recommend and will be back to try the wings & other options. Place is an old steel house and you notice it once inside the restaurant!! Their drink menu was limited when we came but that didn’t stop the bartender who made some great cocktails!! Definitely recommend for the taste & value. This beats any fast food options and places open late near the area!! Oh yeah I came with the person who posted the review below!! lol”
“The building itself is extremely beautiful. As for the food, though, it was absolutely outstanding. I'd have to recommend the Strawberry Pie and the Cheesecake, the taste just explodes in your mouth and you can't get enough.”
“Denny is the best server in the whole place! Treats us like we are family! Food come out quick and always delicious! This is our Wednesday night dinner place for about 3 years now.”

“I visited this location on our way back from Dallas this morning ⛅️ and I was greeted promptly and our visit just went from great to amazing. Francisco was our server ? such a joyful and great personality. Make sure you ask for him when visiting t this location .”
“Food was delicious! Giant portions. Holly was our server and she was awesome! Short 5 min wait, it is a very busy place so dont go expecting to not at least wait a little bit. Its worth the wait!”
“It was the most humbling experience eating a breakfast meal that I did enjoy . It might not been the cleanest looking inside where I decided to sit at first but the experience and food each time was amazing. I even felt the food was better the second time ,In hopes to eat there soon again . It’s hard to get scrambled eggs right and they was very close that time . I would Recommend you coming late at night or early in the morning . In the morning is more people but it didn’t matter much to me ; will be back and will recommend the experience if you are not far or in the area .”
“The staff at this hotel go above and beyond! The manager, Sarai sent a personalized text to ensure my stay was going good. Marco from maintenance was able to immediately fix a minor issue with my toilet, with a friendly smile and a great attitude. The restaurant staff in the morning are always so kind. I really feel so welcomed!”
“Great place! It had gluten free options for my wife and had very good service. I was clumsy when I dropped my glass of water but my waiter Thien and Levi quickly came to rescue and cleaned up after me! The conjak noodles were great even though it was gluten free along with the broth, tofu, noodles, bok shoy, ginger, and bean sprouts. I also had the best kimchi fried rice. I’ll definitely come back for happy hour for the drinks. Thorn and Levi very friendly informative service while we navigated the menu. Will definitely be back.”
“For a vending machine pizza, it's absolutely tasty! I had my doubts, but after trying it, I'm sold. The price is very reasonable and it's a quality product. I'll be getting more!”
“I always stop at this waffle house on my way out of town for work. Always getcoffee, 2 eggs (over easy), bacon (crisp), wheat toast (strawberry jam), waffle ( drowned in butter and syrup) and hash browns. LOVE their hash browns. The Waffle House has been a tradition of mine for over 45 years (that's right 45 years). I hope that they never go out of business. Then I would have to eat at IHOP - NO THANK YOU..”
“It’s a good place to sit and eat too but supper expensive I had a tuna sandwich with chips and a drink and my family got the same it was $47! But it’s worth it in my book . The lady who was there was helpful she recommended that we got the meal so it would be cheaper very helpful . And the smell when u walk in is just so delightful .”

Takeout Restaurants
“Was in Houston for a few days and so glad I found this place! They curate their coffee beans from all over the world and have an extensive range of coffee/tea drinks to choose from. The espresso I had both days was extremely balanced and very smooth so I imagine their espresso based drinks are excellent. They had a very robust pour over selection as well I will certainly be trying next time. There was a wide range of pastry and food offerings that spanned a variety of options from sweet or savory toasts, to burritos and even an interesting Australian sausage roll. The menu had a ton of things I would have loved to try without being overly complex or excessive. I went for the avocado toast which was executed very well! Finally the atmosphere rounded out my fantastic experience. It felt contemporary and cozy without being stuffy a place Im sure many people hang out to work or chat. Huge windows let in plenty of light at all times of the day.No need to go anywhere else when you’re in Houston and in need a unique coffee experience or need a quick bit to eat!”
“On the ground floor there is fast food of all kinds, a lot of variety, which I liked. Going up the stairs on the roof you have a viewpoint that is very pleasant especially when it is not so sunny because otherwise you will get burned. I will definitely return.”
“It was my first time in this restaurant. My waitress was Kristen. Extremely polite, knowledgable and very friendly. As my first time there she gave many great recommendations. I tried the shrimp and gritd she recommended and the food was above and beyond as a first. I really look forward to dining here. And most thankful for Kristen and her amazing service!”
“Me and my sisters came today visiting from Atlanta and we soo glad we came . So when we got there of course the line was soo long wrapped down around the building . But then a staff member came and told the line that there is another side of the breakfast klub next door that serves about 6 top items from their menu . So we went over there and it was so nice ! “Dave's Hot Chicken is like a flavor-packed adventure for your taste buds! As soon as you walk in, the amazing smell of spices and frying chicken sets the mood for a mouthwatering experience. Their menu offers chicken at different heat levels, catering to everyone from mild enthusiasts to daredevil spice lovers. Every bite is a perfect balance of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making each piece irresistible. And don't even get me started on the sides—buttery cornbread, creamy coleslaw, and crispy fries that are just as delicious as the main event. The atmosphere is super chill, making it the perfect spot to hang out with friends while indulging in some seriously good chicken. Plus, the staff are always friendly and helpful, adding to the overall awesome vibe of the place. If you're into fried chicken or just craving a tasty meal, Dave's Hot Chicken is a must-try!”
“Burger Chan was 5 stars all the way. I saw they did a Vietnamese coffee milkshake....yes please! Had them bring it out with my meal, very very good. My burger consisted of 3 two ounce patties with pepperjack cheese, a fried egg and charred jalapenos. This burger was tasty and juicy, had a hint of char on the edges...yum. As usual we sampled each others food. My wife got a five ounce burger patty with no bun with cheddar cheese, seared spam, sauteed onions and sliced avocado, very tasty. She added some fried cheese curds, they hit the ever widening spot, some of the best i've ever had. We will be back for more goodies.”
“The brisket sandwich was really good and fulfilling. I also loved the bbq sauce they gave me with it. But, the potato salad really missed the mark. It had no flavor. Other than that, would recommend”
“I have to say the tacos in the food were delicious everything. I don't think anyone will complain on something that's has flavor. I'm thinking if this place has a long line. It's popular because of the good tasting food. They should do something about speeding up the line. But I guess Management has not thought about that. Has your business growth and it has more in more people coming. You should make plans to make the kitchen area larger with the buffet section larger. So you can have 2 extra servers. I'm assuming they made it investment in the parking lot next door which is huge and full of cars. Trust me this place is making money. Not complaining about the price, but this is not a dollar tacos. Those days are over. This location, and one Laredo on Patton Street street are making money. It would help if it also had a larger restroom to accommodate more than one person. It's a business not a home. I hope management reads this. And will maybe answer the review”
“the bartenders here are on it! jaime took care of me n my friends friday night & he was so amazing! the vibe is also so cool they have a neat wall with candles that are constantly burning”
“This was our first visit, and we will be back. Everything was excellent- the friendly, attentive service, and really wonderful food. Dimitri was our waiter and was outstanding.”
“Food was okay, this place has had a decent amount of buzz around it so maybe expectations were too high. The main parts of the meal were good, but the sides (rice, elote, waffle fries -really round sliced potato) all felt very generic and bland. The shrimp tacos were the highlight!”
“Great experience and it has a nice atmosphere. The food is also nice and it has a lot of variety’s to choose from. Overall, it’s a nice place to hangout with friends and just eat in general!!”
“Richaundra a cashier at the spot was amazing with communication. We were able to get our orders in and didn’t wait too long til we got our food. Most definitely recommend u a visit at Dave’s”
“You are greeted by a gracious host who showed us to our table, we were enamored by the atmosphere and presence of the restaurant. We placed our order starting with an order of the spicy edamames which are a MOST, some exquisite yellowtail and scallop nigiris, with the cherry blossom roll and top it all an silky sake with a hint of white peach to make this the perfect and my go to sushi place next time the craving overcomes me.The mochi that melt in your mouth is guilty pleasure you won’t regret yo be tempted by.”
“I went to Tom's watch bar for the first time ever let me tell you I had an amazing experience. the place was very spotless and organized. My server Fabby was amazing she was very helpful and was always checking up on us to see if we needed anything. I will most definitely be coming here again.”
“We came to dine in from New Jersey. The food was delicious and the entire experience was perfect in every way. The service by staff Shrey was excellent. The manager Jawed was extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. Kept checking on our table himself. Would highly recommend and can’t wait for them to open a branch in NJ!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Some of the best beer in the state made in a beautifully restored warehouse just next to downtown Houston. Oldest craft brewery in Texas and still locally owned and operated by the founder. Must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts.”
“I liked the food (the trompo tacos) they won't be the best I've ever eaten but they are good, they are worth trying, logically there are more dishes and they look delicious but since it was the first time I eat there I only speak for the tacos So far, the service is very good or at least the waitress who served me gave her best, she deserves a 10, and the place is not luxurious but at least it is a very comfortable place to eat (you feel very comfortable) yes I recommend it”
“We enjoyed our Strawberry Breeze drink and LOVED the milk foam cake Strawberry Princess! The cake was so light and not overly sweet and the strawberries were fresh. Nice little spot for a quick treat! They had a pretty decent amount of seating and there was seating outside as well. Service was not great. We weren't greeted when we came in so we just ordered from the kiosk and was not asked if we needed assistance after standing there a while. But it really didn't disrupt our experience. We were able to track our order and received text when order was ready. I would definitely recommend and would come back if I was ever in the area again!”
“This is Burger King needs to be highlighted. Esperanza is such a ray of sunshine. I was able to indulge in a fresh whopper along with hot crispy fries. Houstonians, please pay this location a visit you won’t leave disappointed.”
“Love the vibe. Had a coffee while I got some work done. Will definitely be back.Didn't try the food or cocktails, will update my review when I do.Parking: Very small parking lot with only a few spaces reserved for Wild”
“I can see why Beyonce and Jay Z love it so much!! We went Tuesday afternoon, so it was a lunch crowd. We loved everything we ordered. We had two steaks and a burger. For appetizers, we did the calamari and the oyster special they have. PHENOMENAL!”
“Loved the food and the chef was so kind. He was happy to let my wife and I try multiple vegan sushi’s and appetizers. They were all so good. The one with black rice was my favorite.Dietary restrictions: They have multiple vegan options”
“The place to go if you want really spicy food in a cool upbeat atmosphere! I’d you can’t handle spice, not for you since the mild is also hot for spice lovers! Love the concept and service. Highly recommend the kanom jib, corn fritters and green curry and drunken noodles. Wasn’t a fan of the crispy pork belly despite it being the menu highlight - was expecting soft fatty pork belly but it was instead quite chewy and crispy which threw us off. Will definitely be back.”
“I think the prices are very high for low consistency. Example, sometimes the flavor of the chicken is there and sometimes not. Also, some of prices of chicken is really small. My opinion.”
“Both the coffee and croissant were very delicious! Highly recommend! The shop is nice and cozy with a nice ambience and plenty of space to chill with family or friends.”
“Very good food. We got the hot honey sandwich, 3 tenders, 1/4 chicken, and mac n cheese. All were good, but the sandwich was very messy. Definitely will be back!”
“Loved Dave’s hot chicken!! I had wonderful service by Alauna!!Parking: 12-15Kid-friendliness: Wonderful environment for kids as a baby and two children where in there while I was eating.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room inside for wheelchair access”
“I loved the attention of the employees, they are very friendly and the chicken is very delicious, the white manager is very organized and very friendly, everything is excellent.”
“Came here this past weekend & our experience was great! I got the create your own pasta with Alfredo sauce-mushrooms-green peppers and onions-broccoli-Parmesan cheese with spaghetti noodles and my husband got the Diavolo pasta the way it comes, with hot fried chicken as the protein. We also got the garlic dough and the Parmesan Piada sticks with ranch and let’s just say, we could eat those all day long! The blackberry hibiscus lemonade was fire! We will definitely be back! They also have hand rolled piadas, salads, and desserts! Go check them out!”
“There's no Culver's in Cypress, but there's a Connies! I'm a sucker for a good turtle sundae (which chocolate custard instead of vanilla) and Connies always delivers, offering salty pecans, smooth custard, and friendly quick service...every visit. Although their standard Sunday size offers more custard than I can finish, I'm no quitter, I give it a go everytime! Make sure to check out their happy hour and specials as they clearly value creative, sweet treats! Connie's is such a treat...literally! Worth every calorie!”

Kamp
“Love love love Kamp Houston!! Bottle service was with Brittany and it was perfect!! She made our night spectacular!! I will be back next time I come to Houston for sure!!”
“Amaaaaazing! Tracy the waitress was beyond helpful with my food allergies-she helped me walk through the menu and I got some amazing food thanks to her! The chef came out and sat with us and talked to us and shared his background with us! I would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone and we’ve added it to our favorites list! WE WILL BE BACK!”

Taco Fuego
“Overall the food was really good. My son had the the beef Birria tacos. The food came out hot, fresh and promptly. The sauce added great flavor! He said he’d order again.”
Fine Dining
“Better than excellent food and service. A bit loud, and hard to talk due to lack of acoustic control panels (hard, flat wall and ceilings) and too loud and not properly equalized music system.”
“Food was amazing the atmosphere was welcoming Phil was our waiter he was such a pleasure he was very helpful with menu suggestions and recommendations and just made our experience better-thank you ”
“Wow. The sashimi we ordered was extremely fresh! My friend and I shared the blue fin tuna flight, and it definitely worth every penny! Apps we ordered were all amazing as well: shishito peppers, yellowtail sashimi, wagyu beef and kimchi dumplings. For a side, we ordered the wild mushroom rice hot pot. So rich and creamy, and makes you feel warm inside. And to top it off, the service was exceptional!”
“Went on a Wednesday for all day Happy Hour with some friends. Had beer, wine and the omakase - this is an excellent spot, the service was impeccable even at the bar.Drinks were kept flowing, the sushi and the oysters on the omakase were to DIE for. I live in the area so super nice to have a great sushi place nearby.Highly recommend taking advantage of the HH here. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Awesome evening! Table location was perfect in wine room - great ambience. Issac was excellent server - figured out our desired pace and met it perfectly. He was attentive, available, very knowledgeable, and (importantly) very friendly. Steaks were cooked perfectly, served sizzling, and the sides were delicious (and massive). The cheese cake was - well, Pappas' cheesecake - and delightful - probably qualifying for sinful! Costs are a little pricey, but in line with comparable cuisine and, may I say, WORTH IT! Totally look forward to next time!”
“My favorite steak house. I have been going there since 1992 and this place hasn’t changed much in terms of interior, atmosphere, food and hospitality. As time has frozen. Everything there is top notched and very hard to keep up such a class and hospitality for that long . It’s their flag ship and certainly they know how to keep it afloat . I would recommend everyone to go there if they want a real steak”
“The vibe was good, as well as service. But the food is ordinary, we ordered Karnivore platter. Based on the quality and taste of the food, this place is overpriced. Cocktails taste good but a little bit expensive. Overall, it was okay.Parking: $7 valet parking”
“Great time at Tins. Good service and great food. Add a generous supply of sake to that and you got a great formula. As a non traditional sushi place, it lives up to its name.”
“Quite literally the BEST restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my life!!! The sushi quality was incredible, the presentation was amazing, the flavor profiles and combinations were immaculate, the chef was superb and so friendly, the waiter was also so kind, and so was the manager!! We went on a Monday night for my birthday dinner and wound up being the last table in the restaurant and chatted with all of the staff while we were eating our meal. We had an absolute blast outside of just eating the best food I’ve ever had. We had ordered the standard Omakase for $150 pp. It was the most amazing dining experience of my life. I will be dreaming about this meal. I also had a phenomenal craft sake pairing with my meal. The dishes were unlike any fish and garnish pairing. The toro was so delectable, it literally melted in my mouth. Every bite I took I found myself more and more amazing. Chef also made us the uni toast which I couldn’t believe the flavor was so sweet and delicious. If you don’t go to this restaurant you are doing yourself a disservice!!!Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian”
“This is my favorite date night spot! They never disappoint and always treat us right. Their customer service is top notch and their food is always delicious. Managers are always there to make sure everything is up to expectations and we leave happy and full!”
“A PERFECT job by the Steak 48 team. Arriving at an unexpectedly busy place for a Tuesday night, the hostess was still super friendly, attentive, and helpful. Within a few minutes she was able to get us a table (we didn't have reservations), and we were walked upstairs by a friendly and helpful gentleman. My date and I could not have been happier with the table by a window and it really made for a very romantic night. The place settings were perfect and the bus staff was quick to get water and take away the unneeded place settings. John the server had all the right answers and great suggestions on the menu, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was great (as always), and included a perfectly cooked sea bass as well as an incredible petite filet. Even though it was getting a little late, there was absolutely no rush from the staff, and we enjoyed a great vanilla cake for dessert. Absolutely a PERFECT job by the Steak 48 staff at every step of the way. Thanks, Steak 48!”
“Traveling through for business. Excellent service from Brett and his assistants. Multi coarse meal, amazing flavor everything was cooked and to perfection. Recommend A5 strip and the house made cheesecake. Bartender made an excellent old fashion.”
“Wow. Just wow. Everything was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was just perfection. I cannot wait to come back and bring my family. Just amazing!Dietary restrictions: Staff was very informed of what allergens existed in certain dishes. I have a dairy allergy and the staff directed me to options that could be easily modified without missing out how amazing the dish was to start. Absolutely recommend.”
“We had a wonderful 50th birthday at Truluck’s! They treated like rock stars. Our Victor made our experience great!! I highly suggest if you have the opportunity to visit Truluck’s to take it food is great!Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of vegetarian options”
“I came to Fleming’s for my birthday with a date. My first experience and it was awesome! Stephen, who took care of us at the bar was the best! He went out of his way to make my day special!! Best steak EVER!!!”
“Loved this breakfast spot! Flavor was amazing on everything except the coffee lol I asked for a pump of vanilla and it tasted as if they dumped the whole bottle of syrup in my coffee. The waitress easily exchanged for another coffee just as sweet so I sent it back all together. The Berry Chantilly crepe was amazing! The chicken tenders were crispy but I was expecting just a little more flavor. The presentation of the food and restaurant is amazing! And a great sunflower concept. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. We went on a Wednesday morning so it wasn't too busy but I'm sure on the weekends it's crazy. But nice thing is that they open early. My four stars is for the parking, it's terrible especially if they're busy and can be inconvenient if you park in the front. I'm happy to go back though.”
“Low key casual sushi bar. Very fresh sushi with great traditional and crisp options.Worth noting it is all bar seating which makes the service great and personal.”

“Bree was in house today when we stoped in for our first time here, and she was so accommodating and sweet! Amazing service and experience! We will definitely be coming ”
“#JoeFoodTour do not be surprised by the outside appearance. This food is authentic and super yummy. Also, they are true to their Thai spice so if you think you can handle heat, I’d recommend mild or because the spice level is incredible. #HowdyFromHouston #ThePropertyJoes #”
“I have an extensive list of coffee shops on my "must try" and Oso has definitely been on my list. I got up early this morning and decided to swing by for a coffee with a friend. The location is very small but extremely inviting. The inside can sit maybe 10-15 people and there is some outdoor seating available. I could see this place getting packed pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. While we already had breakfast prior to arriving we were pleasantly surprised they offered a breakfast menu. We both had the horchata latte and a concha. We really enjoyed the horchata latte was really good, super excited to try more drinks! This might be my new regular!”
“I had a fantastic experience at this hookah lounge and restaurant! Bema, our server, was exceptional. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!”
“Can’t go wrong with Pho and it was really good. You get alot with your order and I ended up taking the left overs home to eat for dinner that night. The spring rolls were also very nice.”
“The service and food are top-notch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was telling me all about the desserts and made some excellent recommendations on which ones to try. It's a family owned and family run business. I highly recommend giving them a try.”
“The horchata latte (iced) and campesino cafe con leche (iced) are on the sweeter side but so delicious! The space is very small with some outdoor seating but quiet and cozy.”
“Phenomenal food, the taste is definitely superb. It is filling and even after eating, you can wait to come back to eat again. 10 out of 10 recommended and will tell everyone I know to come here. Service was the best and makes you feel at home. Amazing dining area, love the decor, it is hilarious and just adds to the experience.”
“Always a good time over here! Solid beer selection. The games they have available are fun! This includes air hockey, billiards, foosball, and two basketball shooting machines.”
“Great neighborhood spot in Spring Branch. Been visiting off & on for years, but this is quickly becoming our new favorite go-to spot. Great draft selection, plenty of bottles & cans, great seltzer options & wine as well. Very mellow vibe always. Perfect amount of lighting inside. Cozy vibes. Plenty of seating. Backyard area is sweet & intimate. Everything is priced extremely reasonably. No pomp & circumstance involved. Great weekly date night spot for a few easy drinks. Owner is a nice guy too.”
“Some friends have come from Spain on a trip and we wanted to take advantage of the day to have a picnic in a nearby park. We ordered two family pizzas, very good and we also tried the cannoli (very very delicious!!!). Close service and very good recommendations. 100% recommended!!!”
“The paletas are amazing. Hands down the best I have ever had. This is definitely one of my go to spots in Houston. Jonathan (the owner) is enthusiastic and creative with his flavors and everyone who works there is super friendly.Vegetarian options: Both creamy dairy and refreshing fruit only paletas.Dietary restrictions: The sorbet paletas are vegetarian and vegan friendly.Parking: Parking on the side streets is generally available.”
“I had a great experience yesterday visiting this cozy sandwich shop. The staff was very personable and friendly. They have many different options of sandwiches, drinks, sides, and other food options. I tried the Houstonian style sandwich with everything on it with a side of elote and it did not disappoint. The right ratio of meats to sauce to lettuce with a nice crisped slices of bread. If you like sandwiches and have some time, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I most definitely will be back.”
“The brewed tea tasted great. It will be suggested to reduce the sweetness; I liked to go with 30% sweetness. The team members were friendly. The establishment looked clean and cool.Parking: Several stores and restaurants sharing the same parking lot.”
“As A TRANS person I was never misgendered at KASRA today . The server I believe is of Turkish background and addressed me as Madam not sir or monsieur . Which happens frequently even if I am in very Feminine attire. And always it’s American born millennials. It’s people from foreign countries who have a thing or two that American Born Hospitality workers need to take note of.. I am not someone that demands to be addressed in my correct Gender. I don’t let it bother me. However your tip does depend upon more than you refilling my tea glass . KASRA has impressed me with their Food more than once already. Todays visit we ordered Lamb and the vegetarian sampler with #’s 1,2,3 The Lamb shank is a fall off the Bone tender succulent piece of meat . The flavor is not overwhelming but in the right proportion. My friend added salt to her rice but I did not. The rice was perfect for me. I saw a review of another place that was critical of that places rice because it wasn’t salty enough. And while eating at Bludorn the table next to me was complaining about the rice being unsalted. Note:Don’t believe half the reviews you read on google . Some people have bad taste and do not know what good food is . But I do … if I say GO! You need to Go! I did 4 FOUR reviews on restaurants in Houston that are James Beard Finalists BEFORE THEY MADE THE LIST !. I broke my Fast of Five (5) Days at KASRA on Sunday , 17th of March . This was a time for inner reflection . I Am 90 days Sober now . . This just was a pure coincidence my fast took place the same time as Ramadan. . First off the starting line ?Thank you for your warm hospitality your food could have been terrible and I would still give 5 stars . I had such an incredible experience, everything was perfect. And the place is beautiful with other happy people. I’m hoping that reading this you will go and spend time here and money. This restaurant should be supported because of the great food and hospitality. The staff just aren’t order takers they are Oder coaches I have a personal life coach that I consult with and now I can count on the staff here to help out with my decisions on food items I have no idea about.”

Twin Peaks
“My husband just left Twin Peaks on 290, we walked in we greeted nice, we sat at the bar and were immediately greeted with a big smile from Lindsey Stewart. Lindsey was professional and attentive. We are on our way to Killeen and I think we might drop by on our way back to Galveston.”

il Bracco
“Food was amazing, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect. Went here on a first date and thoroughly enjoyed it.We had the whipped ricotta, and tartare, I had the spinach ravioli. The ravioli was just ok but their espresso martini and regular espresso was heaven”

Josephine's
“This was my first visit to Josephine's. I stumbled upon it while driving home and noticed a sign for the restaurant. After a quick Google search, I discovered they specialized in seafood, my favorite cuisine, so I decided to give them a try. Two days later, I made a reservation. Upon arrival, the hostess warmly greeted me, and I requested to sit at the bar. However, I wasn't acknowledged for another 10 minutes until I made eye contact with one of the bartenders named Cam. He promptly provided me with a drink and dinner menu. I also interacted with Franklin, who seemed quite introverted and not the best fit for the bar atmosphere. Despite that, Cam was very personable, funny, and had a down-to-earth personality, making my experience enjoyable. The oysters were phenomenal, and I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. Overall, I had a great time, and the "Drink, Right Time Wrong Place" was amazing.”

“Very detailed and original Persian dishes. If you'd like to have home made Persian food, try this place. After years of living in Houston, I feel I am home!”

La Fisheria
“I was visiting Houston and my friends took me to Fisheria. I was delighted, the corn tamale is delicious, the lemon pompano and the trio of empanadas are highly recommended!! The service from our waitress was fantastic. Thank you Celeste for your attention.”
“Some of the best beer in the state made in a beautifully restored warehouse just next to downtown Houston. Oldest craft brewery in Texas and still locally owned and operated by the founder. Must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts.”
“Went on a Saturday, with reservations, around 7pm.Food and service was Outstanding!!!Tried the corn n crab chowder, gumbo, Walley burger, veggies, brussel sprouts and fried rice. All was delightfully delicious. The restroom was interesting, though, both men and women use the same area.Would go again.”
“The best service EVERY TIME. FRESH food every time! I’m addicted! Food is so good that you that it will change your mood! The sun will shine on a rainy after eating at The Birria Queen. I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Birria Tacos with EXTRA pressure sauce. Best Food Truck in TEXAS!”

5Kinokawa
“One of the very best Omakasa experiences we have ever had. My wife and I went for our anniversary but as twist we brought our young daughters so they could experience what we love. The staff and chef were amazing and so accommodating! The quality of the food and ingredients alone was worth the experience, however the staff put this place over the top! This will be a frequent place we visit when we come to Houston!”
“Food was amazing the atmosphere was welcoming Phil was our waiter he was such a pleasure he was very helpful with menu suggestions and recommendations and just made our experience better-thank you ”
“absolutely BANGER authentic chinese skewer + late night hang out spot. we got the cabbage, grilled lamb spare ribs, grilled sizzling squid, eggplant skewer, and oyster mushroom skewer. if you order no spicy its still extremely flavorful, but even the mild spicy (we got on the squid) wasn't overbearing. note that this place does have karaoke option so if you're sensitive to loud noises i wouldn't recommend. our waiter was the SWEETEST ever - gave us amazing recommendations and let us have a small sample of the pig ears since we were worried about the spice level. for less than $60, we (2 ppl) have enough leftovers to last 2 more meals (so in total 6 meals for $60). the white rice is $1 per bowl in case u wanted to order some.”

Pacha Nikkei
“Great place for Peruvian food and date nightI definitely recommend the Lomo saltado and the ceviche also their drink I forget the name was super good. “I'm picky about BBQ. There is good BBQ and there is great BBQ. People wait in line hours to get great BBQ. As someone who loves cooking, most food is at it's best when it's done. A lot of BBQ places you go to, the food has been done for a long time and just kept warm... You're also paying for real estate, to store that BBQ so it's available when you want it. That's still good BBQ. We parked in the Pinkerton's lot, and waited in line behind a few other people for a few minutes. By the time they opened, there was a long line. We paid by the pound, and if we didn't like how much we were getting, we asked for a bit more. The woman in front of us wanted a beef rib, but didn't want to pay for the bone... She made them take it back... Held up the line for a bit, but they then had our food ready and we ate. I can't think of better BBQ. Bark was perfect, flavor on point... By far the best brisket I've ever had. Towards the end of the meal, the ribs changed from amazing to really good... Sitting for a bit does that... Love this place and although I hate the traffic in Houston, if I ever returned, it would be to this place.”
“Food is amazing. Staff on point, professional, sharp and attentive. Wonderful music, lovely atmosphere. We like it so much, had my wedding dinner celebration yesterday. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.Managers were accommodating and made us feel welcomed.Food is authentic and cocktails so tasty.Completely recommend!”
“Everything was so good! Do try to get a reservation though. They were super nice to squeeze us in before a reservation came in. I got the 4 set rolls and it came with the BGB sake, negitoro, spicy tuna, and avocado. My favorites from the set was BGB sake, super tasty, and the spicy tuna which had crunchy crips in it. The best spicy tuna hand roll I ever had. I also tried their notorious BGB which had a side that taste like fish sauce to me and hotate which is scallop crudo with refreshing citrus. Both are delicious and are a must try! Their bluefin Akami sashimi was fresh too. I didn’t like negitoro sashimi as much but that is just a preference. All of their drinks are solid too.”
“Very interactive and engaging experience with a lot of fun and laughs! Wonderful experience. The food was delicious! I especially appreciate the vegetarian option.”

Lucio's
“Our family gave Lucio’s a try after reading all of the wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint!Service: our waitress, Irina, was pleasant, warm and hospitable! She treated us with so much care.Food: we tried the crab cakes, goat cheese salad, calamari, filet mignon, rack of lamb and salmon and they were all cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried the brioche- delicious. We truly enjoyed our experience.Drinks: we took advantage of the BYOB option and brought our own wine. Please note that this option is for wine and champagne.Ambiance: small yet spacious , intimate setting. All tables were filled with guests when we went (a Saturday night after 7pm). Lots of interesting art on the walls. I feel that the size of the restaurant added to the quality of the food. The chefs took their time making everything fresh.Wait times: although the food is cooked from scratch, we did not wait long times to get anything. The service was choreographed in a seamless manner.Parking: parking was easy- we used valet services.”

“I had the most basic plate on the menu because I couldn't decide on what I wanted lol my waitress was very reassuring, but I hate sending food back, so I stuck to the chicken bc I was so undecided. The Chicken Chicharrones was tasty. The drinks were great! You can definitely taste and feel the alcohol -- I got my monies worth. Will be back to try the Ceviche & a main dish.”
“The food was amazing & so was our server Alexis! She was super attentive & catered to our every need! You guys have a gem on your hands, don’t you ever lose that one!”
“Despite having tried multiple AYCE sushi restaurants around the West Houston area, I was very surprised to have seen Sumo Sushi come up as one I hadn't been to. Over the years, many AYCE sushi places within the $20 range for lunch have appeared, and Sumo sushi is yet another one to have entered the market.Despite this, Sumo Sushi is doing something to set itself from the crowd. I went for their lunch price (which they also have on Saturdays) and enjoyed a wide selection of their appetizers, nigiri, and specialty rolls. One of the issues I noticed with some AYCE is the lack of fish quality and overbearing rice vinegar taste. None of these issues were present for Sumo Sushi. What's more, their deep fried appetizers tasted evenly cooked. This rang true when I tried their shrimp tempura roll, a roll I avoid commonly since the tempura battery is undercooked at some AYCE sushi restaurants. Our server, Tiffany, was also amazingly attentive, and ensured we never went a long duration without being able to order more.Overall, for $20, Sumo Sushi excels in providing excellent quality and value. They offer everything I feel competitors lack and don't seem to be plagued with common issues that come with a $20 AYCE. Of all of the AYCE I've been to (Taizzi, Sushi Masa, Sushi Ichi, J&J kitchen, Mikoto, Sushi 9, Sushi Haya) this is now my go-to AYCE sushi place.”
“We have enjoyed everything about Brennan's for years! The service is impeccable, the food is extraordinary, and the ambiance is the right mix of sophisticated and Southern-friendly. We love bringing our friends and family here for special occasions as well as for no occasion at all other than to have a great time. Thank you!”

“Delicious! Wonderful shrimp chimichuri, lovely salmon cakes with lemon capers, crispy tender flavorful diavolo pizza with hot honey. Best tiramisu I've ever had! Topped off with a double espresso. Perfection.”
“I've been a couple of times to Oporto, and I've airways been satisfied. From the artful to the food, everything is amazing; staff is always friendly and attentive their drinks and food are amazing.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Staff is very attentive and accommodating to any dietary restrictionsParking: Parking can be a bit tricky if you're looking for free options. I'd recommend either parking in the back garage for a cheaper alternative or just paying the valet fee and be over with it.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility.”

“I am kicking myself on not coming here sooner. I've heard so many great things about this place from colleagues and friends. I went during the last weeks of December. It is totally decked out in holiday decor. From the giant ornaments hanging from the ceiling to the nutcrackers around the perimeter, their holiday drink menu is awesome too. I enjoyed my drink The Hot Buttered Banana, it had banana infused rum, butter, a little lime served hot. It was like a sweet warm hug in a mug. They also had a nice touch of having green and red conchas by their door for those who want one. The service was good, it was busy. They had a live DJ as well.”
“Had an impromptu dinner for 2 at Gatlins' on a Friday night. I was glad I came! From the biscuits with the most delicious bacon jam I've ever had to some great fried chicken and fried shrimp! Flavor was everywhere! The only thing that needed some help was the fried catfish- still good, but I think the fried chicken and bacon jam were the stars of the show. Prices and portions were very reasonable. Service was just a bit on the slow side, but didn't change a vibe. I would be back and will recommend this place to others for sure.”

“I came here for dinner one night with a friend and what a hit this place was! Casual, yet trendy atmosphere. Seating was prompt and service was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and the quality was top tier. The aburi on fire roll and yasai kinoko tofu was absolutely DELICIOUS! Parking was super easy and this place is a solid 5 star. If you want fresh quality food, this is the place to be! I'll definitely be back with friends and family for dinner!”

“Really great ambiance, attentive service, cocktails, and very modestly priced Italian food. Would go back and recommend! The service had the white glove feel without the cost. “The food here is absolutely delightful and flavorful. The ambiance is incredible, perfect for a date. The service is punctual and the staff takes pride in describing the meal. Every aspect of the dining experience is described with precision. The kitchen is constantly working on masterpiece after masterpiece. “This place is a gem! It is small yet super homey. Reminds me of small homey Japanese restaurants/bars we used to go to growing up in Taiwan. Service is great and the people chat with their customers about random stuff like a friend would. I see them doing that we several customers each time I'm here and thought that is the neatest thing a restaurant could offer in this time in age. Will keep coming here!”

Steak 48
“There are many vegetarian options at a decent price. The staff is friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you're comfortable and enjoying your experience. The pasta dishes are great. Will happily return.”

“Really cute date night spot. This place has a nice elegant flare to it. Getting a reservation is highly recommended. Bar seating and outdoor seating are also available. The outdoor area is right by a small park and really nice to eat on a warm day. Lots of options available. Some Portuguese influence with their selection of port wines which is unique within this Indian style restaurant. If you have dietary restrictions such as gluten free, they have a separate menu but you need to ask for it. The main menu does clearly label vegan and vegetarian options. I’d recommend getting a few items to share as it is encouraged to eat family style. I tried the chili tofu and chana masala. Both were delicious.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian and vegan items are marked on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu”
“I can see why Beyonce and Jay Z love it so much!! We went Tuesday afternoon, so it was a lunch crowd. We loved everything we ordered. We had two steaks and a burger. For appetizers, we did the calamari and the oyster special they have. PHENOMENAL!”
“Ventured outside my comfort zip code zone ? and I’m so glad I did! This restaurant was fantastic! Food was very flavorful and presented so clean…no frills just delicious meat, grilled veggies and oh my they’re roasted potatoes yummy ?. We went with a group of 7 and we all had something different and shared…Milanese was juicy, steaks were cooked to perfection, and pasta was tasty. Went on a Saturday and they had a gentleman singing and he was pretty good. Great ambiance.”

“We went as a large group: two families meeting part way and neither from the area. It was wonderful to be able to have options for our dairy free and gluten free family. Not only did we have options but the food was very good. We had so many things : pizza, pasta, egg roll, plantain nachos, and yucca fries. We were a little loud (6 kids under 10) but the service was kind and patient -- even when one spilled a full glass of water . They even took a picture of us as a group and made sure my boys were smiling. Overall --- great food, excellent service and overall good experience . We hope to make it back there if we ever are in town again !”
“I used to live across the street from this place and I miss it all the time, great bartenders, great food, great drinks and they routinely add more things to their menu, truly one of the best bars in ”
“Wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant. You will feel right at home. Just pick a special, or point your finger in a general direction on the menu... Everything is great!”
“My recent visit to Mo' Better Brews offered a mixed experience regarding their vegan offerings. While the menu provides all vegan options, I noticed that most of the food appeared unhealthy due to being fried and overly greasy. Although the portions were generous, the excessive oiliness overshadowed the flavors and enjoyment. On the positive side, the ambiance was cozy, and the staff was kind and friendly. However, as someone who appreciates variety and healthier alternatives, the lack of options in that regard may limit the menu's overall appeal.”

“The name intrigued me so I asked where it came from and no one knew. Surprisingly to me that no one that works there would be curious enough to ask.Nothing new here except that it was done well.1. Garlic soy wings is classic and tasted as expected.2 egg rolls were decent.3. Veggie egg rolls is what I’ll order every time I come here. It was so good I thought they were lying about the veggies.4. I had the clay pot fish. I couldn’t taste the miso but it was reminiscent of a Thai dish in terms of the flavors. I enjoyed it.5. I stole 2 sips of the pho broth and what I tasted may have changed my mind of where the best pho is. The flavors felt deep and well rounded and consistency of the soup was more bone broth like than soupy. I’ll be ordering this next time to see if I was mistaken.Overall I enjoyed it and would return again to sample new things.”

“Omggggghhhhh S/O to Maria and Cooper for making me feel like a customer that’s appreciated. I had the worst experience from one of the cashiers the day before and I did the survey off my receipt on her and the food I requested to be fresh that wasn’t, then I actually went back the next day to get a refund and tell mngement and they knew I was the customer lol. They actually took my feedback and took action. Apologized made my food fresh and gave me a refund. I can tell the mngement here actually cares and that made me happy. “I mean a hidden gym I never know about. On our way to the Houston Open (parking garage) we stopped to get kolaches and donuts. Kolaches are massive (they also have smaller ones) and they have several different options like boudin, sausage/cheese, sausage/cheese/jalapeno, etc. They have burritos, a variety of donuts and the service was speedy and nice. Definitely not a place to sit and eat, so grab it to go & enjoy!”

“Their street tacos are good! I know, I know, you do a double take to even stop like, "I don't know if I even want to stop here." But if you do, man, I'm telling you. It's super good. My wife loves the fish tacos. She does the grilled ones, but we've tried the fried ones too. The shrimp grilled and fried ones were also good as well. The Torta was delicious. Had all kinds of meats. Been there twice already, and there definitely will be a third visit down-the-line. Atmosphere could be better, but you do what you can with the streets as your dining hall. Male cashier beside her had to step in to say he was here to help and then had to come over after we finished cashing to make sure that we had our receipt and were good.”

“Clawdaddy did not disappoint ! The food is really good! I ordered the snow crab - house - mild and the wings with rice (added shrimp). Everything was delicious and the portions are large! The Mac and cheese was good and I an expresso martini I think that’s what it’s called. I walked in and sat at the bar… nice music very clean establishments. I wasn’t to fond of the bathroom though… but definitely a staple and a must. I live in houston and no restaurant taste this good ? I’ll be back ??”

Weekends look pretty packed with lots of young folks enjoying their weekend but weekdays seem more relaxed with all the youngsters in school. There's not a lot of room but enough for you to comfortably sit and visit. The music playing in there is trendy. I heard a Chris Stapleton song once while waiting for my order. The staff is very nice, helpful and polite. I always appreciate great customer service. The drinks are very good. I don't find many places that get ca phê trứng (Egg Coffee) right, especially iced. Le'Drip impressed me with their version. I thoroughly enjoyed the stout Vietnamese coffee taste. In my opinion whether ca phê sữa đá or otherwise, the coffee has to be legit and strong or it throws everything else off. If you want a sweeter coffee try Bác Xíu (White Coffee), which is much sweeter. The ca phê trứng however was exceptional compared to others I've tried recently. On a whim, I tried the Soursop Thai Tea. It's good but too sweet for me. If sweetness is your weakness, by all means, you may love this drink. Le'Drip has impressed me so far and I'll return to try other drinks in the future.”
“Had a breakfast training for work and this service and the food was OUTSTANDING! Delicious, fresh, and attentive. Riniy was a superb waitress and her homemade corn tortillas were phenomenal. I would give this a perfect 10 out of 5 stars!”
“This place is awesome!!! The place was clean and staffs are kind. Pho was flavorful and delicious. There were a lot of meats in the pho. Their appetizers were great. Particularly, their spring roll was legit! I went Vietnam and ate spring-roll at there. It was great, too. However, this spring-roll was better than the real Vietnam's spring-roll. I will definitely come here again. ?”
“Chicken shawarma - 8.5/10 - One of the freshest shawarmas ive had, i love that it was crispy too, but could use more flavor. Fries - 9/10 - Crispy and seasoned. Paired with their garlic sauce was chefs kiss. I absolutely love shawarmas so I was excited to try this spot and was not disappointed. One of the best shawarmas ive had in Houston.”
“I was really surprised at how good this place was. It's a like an old school burger hop type of style with a few benches. They text your phone when the order is ready. The fries are very crispy with a great tasting sauce and seasing. The burgers were very tasty, especially the BBQ burger. Not over cooked, not dry and definitely not flavorless. The crispy onions and BBQ sauce were a perfect mix. The hotline Burger was great, but I'd get it next time without pickles. Overall fast service, friendly employee and delicious food.”
“I decided come by and try Mi Tierra as it is around the corner from my office in the up and coming Oak Forest neighborhood. When you first walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff. There were a few other tables enjoying their meals already, but was able to be sat with my party right away. We ordered the "award winning" tacos al pastor as well as the mahi mahi fish taco's. Both were great choices. Light and refreshing the perfect amount of taste. Paired with Mi Tierra margarita. The meal was satisfying. I wish I would have come in sooner. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.”
“Food is so good here! This was our second visit and we got to try more of their dishes and each item was fresh and delicious. Starting from appetizers, momo’s, grills, to their curries. Everything is really good! We highly recommend this place for family gatherings.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options like saag, daal, mix veg, paneer dishes and very all good”
“We just discovered this gem today and can't believe we've been missing out all this time. The boba is yum. The chicken tenders are MASSIVE, delicious and HOT, and the ambience is super cute. We will be coming back after every soccer game. Love!”
