Katz always disappoints. I always have such high hopes going in beautiful restaurant, 24 hour open pastrami and knish and matzo ball soup. They can't seem to get any of these right. Pastrami was leather, soup had something in it that gave throat irritation. Knish was deep fried mashed potatoes. Forgetful apologetic servers. Fried egg and potatoe pancake was good sliders were burnt. My third try for this place. Your better of at the pie house if it is open.
Tried it for the first time after how many attempts ? coz always something came up. Anyway, love the atmosphere and the staff is very accommodating. I prefer this one than the other competitors ?

Okay let me be your guide, for years I had heard of Katz on the radio or commercials but all they advertised was milkshakes so that’s why I never came bc I pictured an old school diner and milkshakes and burgers. BUT LEMME TELL YALL! The environment is upscale modern, super cute patio/ bar! The menu is diverse and has ALLOT of options.
