Idk what you guys changed about the bbq beef. But it is horrible what you guys are using now. Please go back to original beef you were using this new one is too thick and most of it I couldn’t even eat. The texture was off as well. Also I think some of your cashier could use a lesson in how to be friendly with customers. And let me just add I come there frequently it’s one of my favorite restaurants here and back in Cali where I’m from.PLEASE CHANGE THE BEEF BACK!

The front desk gal is not friendly at all. First I was standing by the door finishing a phone conversation and she walked by me and interrupted me with an attitude asking to take my order. If I wanted to order I'd of walked up to the counter versus standing all the way by the door. Once I finished I approached the counter to order. Typically we substitute Extra ribs vs chicken on the mixed plate however she said no we can't do that. I said we'll let me get the pick four and do all ribs and she said no we don't do that either. She went on to say we have to pick one of each meat however never have we nor have had to do that nor does it say that on the menu. Otherwise, it's not a pick-four, it's just a four-meat combo. She was difficult and rude from the moment I arrived and clearly was making up rules as she went just to be difficult. We've been here many times and never had an issue. At almost $19 for a "pick 4," one should actually get to PICK 4 of their likings or let it be a 4 meat combo?. L&L was my husband's favorite in Hawaii however it seems Hawaiian Brothers have surpassed these guys in service and quality.

Tried this place for the first time after a friend was on a rant about how much they missed Loco Moco from their days in Hawaii. L&L is small and unpretentious. My server was super friendly and food came fast. Loco Moco is a simple stacked dish with rice, burger patties, gravy and fried eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly and I could see why he misses this typical Hawaiian comfort food. Other reviews mention cold, flavorless Mac and cheese. ?? It’s macaroni salad. That may have something to do with why you didn’t like the Mac and cheese! I’ll be back to try the Hawaiian BBQ.

This place was recommended on google as it advertises spam masubi on its menu. I decided to give it a try, but i was not impressed. I ordered the Moco Loco as it was one of the popular choices but it was not available when I ordered. Instead i had the Chicken Curry Katsu, two spam masubi, and a chicken masubi. The nori on both of the masubis was soggy by the time it made it to the table. The spam one was decent but chicken one felt undercooked. The chicken curry was pretty bland and not one i could recommend. Overall it was 35$ for the food ordered which when made it home it wouldve been cheaper and better. Not to mention the floors were sticky/tacky throughout the whole dining area. Not sure if this is the usual or if they had an off day but i will not be returning nor will I be recommending.

Great place to try out!I went there twice, once with my son. I got Katsu Chicken both times. My son got Protein Plate which is same as BBQ Mix Plate, with 2 fried eggs on top.Katsu Chicken is fried Chicken fillets, comes with white rice and Macaroni cheese salad on side. I got Mini plate, their Mini plate has large size portions. All of our food was fresh and delicious. Katsu comes with gravy which I don't like, I get it with dipping sauce which is very delicious. Service was wonderful both times.Definitely recommend you try out this place.If you go between 11-2pm weekday, you can get special lunch price for their Mini plates.We did not try out any drinks.
Found this little gem after visiting Dr Pepper Museum. The food was very fresh, cooked on the spot, and tasty! Our 11 and 13 year old were happy with their choices (kids teriyaki and regular katsu plate). I had the spicy katsu bowl and my husband had the seafood plate. Even the sauces were good!

Ordered through Uber eats and got the “buy one get one free” special they had for Kalua Pork. The pork was drowned in oily water liquid. It was basically a soup. The container was literally filled halfway with liquid. Threw it straight in the trash.
Second time here, I got the bbq plate with beef, short ribs, and chicken. Service was fast, but I feel like the portion sizes are smaller than before. The food was fresh and had good flavor. With a drink this was almost $20, I feel it’s a little overpriced for the amount of food you get.

I ordered this for lunch delivery and it was barely consumable. The Mac salad was basically mayo soup. The chicken Katsu is made with chicken thigh. It’s crispy but the curry sauce is tasteless. The only thing that was good was the rice. Definitely avoid the food from here.
