Been coming since 2001Best Donut Place since childhood but recently I haven't seen the owner and the quality isn't the same. Different faces are in the front and it doesn't feel like it was when the owner his wife and son where there.Anyone know what happened?

Love this little shop. Freshest kolaches and friendliest people! Easy stop in for breakfast.

This used to be my favorite donut place. They used to be so good. But my last 3 visits have been very disappointing. The donuts were dry and stale. I usually try to catch them when the donuts are hot but there isn't a consistent time to do so. I've just been disappointed lately. Driving from Katy to this place to be disappointed. Time to find a new donut spot.

Great selection, friendly service. My family's favorite donut shop in Houston. Love the blueberry donuts and sausage biscuits.

I have no idea why this place has such raving reviews. I’ve been here multiple times just to see if it gets better and it does not. Cheap quality ingredients and food and it’s even overpriced at that.

I tried Queen Donuts for my first time. We went early Sunday. The display case was full and there were plenty of smiling servers. The spicy boudin was very tasty. Cinnamon rolls were fresh from the oven and about as tasty as can be. Mrs Donuts on Memorial is the best in town that I have found, and Queen may tie them for the top spot - I will need to return a few more times to decide!

Moved recently into the area and been searching for a spot AND this is it! This is a hidden gem. Pastries so fresh... you can taste the butter. Prices are very reasonable and the staff very friendly. Well definitely be my go-to spot.

I've found what I needed to get me going on the morning and to cure my sweet tooth cravings.

Born and raised in Houston and have always loved Shipleys. I went to one about a week ago, got 2 donuts and 1 kolache, just sausage and cheese. Cheese was runny, poor quality sausage and stale bread. Didn't finish it. They've gone down hill unfortunately. I was kinda heartbroken lol.On the opposite end of the spectrum you have Queen Donut. I live very close and have been numerous times. They always offer to warm up your kolache. Better quality ingredients, you can just taste it, trust me.Small shop, and so staff have to be quick to get people in and out. Only about 2 to 3 staff there at a time but they are always on top of their stuff. They prioritize speed for sure, but are still friendly.Fantastic place.
