Visit Urban Eats. It's fantastic. The food was delicious and well presented. This place is easily a flexible gathering place for families, friends lunch meeting or date night out. Urban Eats is a neighborhood gem. I loved it.

I had an amazing goat cheese salad here. It was DELISCIOUS. The goat cheese was excellent and the salad was crisp and tasty. I love that they put automatically give you extra dressing. Our server was delightful and I couldn't have been happier with the service. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view of Houston, but unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to. I highly recommend this place.

Small, quaint little spot, bursting with flavor. Generous portions for a reasonable price. Restaurant is on second floor, but no elevator. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Food and flavor were awesome. No pictures because I had to fast for a procedure the night before and I just dug in.Parking: Parking lot is equivalent to the size of the restaurant.

When I visit Houston, I eat--and the food at Urban Eats just added to my dining pleasures in the city.I went with two other companions, and the dishes were ordered were so scrumptious I ate every single bite, no small feat as the servings were very generous.I ordered the ham omelette with mushrooms, peppers, cheddar and gruyere cheese. The meal came with a choice of breads and a choice of sides. I had the buttermilk biscuit and fruit salad, and have no regrets. The couple I was with had the duck fat potatoes and the Parisian breakfast. There was so much tasty food, and the prices were so low in comparison that I was impressed.A small store on the first floor offers a mix of eclectic vinegars, jams, cheeses, quiches, pies, and Panini sandwiches. Outdoor dining is available on both the first and second floors. With fall finally here, we enjoyed our meals on the first floor patio.I'll definitely be returning to Urban Eats on my future visits to my favorite city. Regrettably, I forgot to take pictures, but the establishment is cute and the diners are not packed overly closely together. Urban Eats is a bargain and a treat!

The menu is small and selective. I’m not sure if me and my family went on a bad day but the food was mediocre and definitely wasn’t worth the prices. The chicken was dry and my kids didn’t eat the waffles and they love waffles. The the drinks tasted like water but the server was attentive and helped when he could.

We love this place. This past week we got some of the prepared foods from the case as we had limited time. Normally, we eat upstairs in the dining room. The dining area is always consistently good and the sliders are my favorite. They’re so good. This trip though my daughter had a quiche and I had Brussels sprouts and chicken salad. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and very flavorful. The lemon meringue pie was exceptional. I always pass straight through the market area and now I know that’s a mistake. Parking is a bit of a challenge as the back exit is closed at the moment.

This is a cute place for brunch in the Heights. I stopped by for a very quick bite with two of my friends on a chill Saturday morning around 11:00am. There are two levels of seating inside as well as an outdoor patio. The tables inside are pretty close together so noise level can be an issue sometimes, esp with the upbeat music they play lol. I ordered the Parisian Breakfast for brunch with eggs over easy and a lovely side of croissant with Brie and Honey and also a baguette with strawberry preserves and whipped butter. My friends had the Duck Fat Camper's Hash and there were no complaints about that one either. The staff here is very cordial and friendly, I would like to come back again next time, and sit and chill for longer.

Excellent!! We tried the three choices and they filled the bowl with salad and excellent dressing. I took cookies for later and they did not disappoint. I'd go here again and again.

I really enjoyed this place! Gorgeous day in Houston so we sat on the patio. There is a market downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. Clever use of space and great set up.I have been here 3 times total and I have noticed service is slow if you aren’t sitting at the bar. I personally love sitting at the bar anywhere so if you are like me, opt for that. Patio has bar height and regular height tables. The chairs are metal and some are rusting. I want to make note of this because white or light clothing would be ruined! On to the food! Delicious! I have never had any complaints. If you love Mac n cheese, please try their truffle Mac. It’s just too good! Any of the sliders, the monkey bread, deviled eggs. All of it. Top tier. The one thing I tried that was new was the wings. Not a fan. Won’t order again but will stick to my favorites mentioned above.Atmosphere is great, very low key and artisanal. Will continue to be a customer.

My daughter and I had a late supper at Urban Eats two weeks ago and had an amazing experience! They have a charming gourmet deli downstairs with fresh baked breaks if you want to take something home or grab a quick bite, then upstairs is a beautiful bar/dining area for something with a little more sophistacation and amiance. We got there late and didn't realize the time until we got ready to order, (8:50 pm), but Lamar our gracious host, told us not to worry! The steak + frites was AMAZING! So tender and perfectly cooked and the wine was perfect! (Benton Lane pinot noir)- My daughter and I agreed this was our favorite new place in Houston!I highly recommend you give this place a vist!!

Food was super underwhelming. I actually didn't eat my sliders, and the "coca cola" was not actually coca cola. I wouldn't returnOn a brighter note, the sweet potato waffles were nice

This 5 * rating is for the southern style breakfast which is really good! Eggs, grits, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Best breakfast in town. Service was excellent. I was coughing and the server brought me some water. She was very nice. Unique layout and good for meal / work kind of stop. All I have is after picture :)ps... I ate here previously for lunch and was good, not memorable. Goes to show you gotta order right to be right. I bookmarked today.
