Excellent donuts the 1st 2 visits. I drive past 10 donut shops just to come here, but unfortunately, it'll be my last time. This last visit, there were maybe 20 donuts available, not very many options, which led me to believe the donuts weren't fresh. When I got home, they actually weren't as fresh as the previous times. Maybe Fridays are the best days to visit. I went on a Thursday, and unfortunately, that was my experience.
Growing up in SC ~ We were big fans of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Here (in Humble, TX) we've been greatly disappointed with their jelly-filled. They seem to be rationing the filling. When you want a jelly-FILLED doughnut, a "nickelsized- amount (NO KIDDING!) will NOT do.So...We began a search for Houston's BEST jelly-filled doughnuts. The donuts and kolaches are fine, but they've somehow ran out of glazed donuts early in the morning the last time I went and said it was going to be 20 minutes before they had more. Ended up going elsewhere.
