Food is yummy the cook came out while we were eating and learned he has been there for over 10 years making the brisket and meats. Definitely you can taste the difference between other bbq places. The place could use a little atmosphere change maybe some soft country music. The employees definitely make this place a fave. Not sure about the ownership, in the sense of presence not the people. There are no bad teams there are bad leaders.

Not a place you want to spend money. I tried several times over the years to find something good about this place.Everything tastes old and overcooked. The ribs seem to be baked, not smoked. You’ll need heavy sauce to make it edible and the sauces aren’t all that.I don’t know if he’s the owner or what but I’ve seen this guy verbally scold employees in front of customers. And always has an attitude.

Some of the most bland food you can buy. Brisket, if it is that? Taste like its boiled and then smoked. Similar to Kroger's cooked Brisket you can buy. Not the friendliest to go to.. Outdated inside. Really hard they do catering with this quality of food.

I would of gave it half a star if I could.. hefty white guy had an attitude with me when I called in my order. My wife called right after he had an attitude with her as well.. when she asked how long it would take.... with a attitude the guy says" well depends, how long till u get here". Didn't even give a price. So I go up to get it.. dude has an attitude again.. asked to talk to a manager.. she was very nice. Went to talk to him n he got loud with her rolling his eyes... clearly dude didn't get none last night... I don't know what his problem was.. but I won't be back!!!

Disappointing! I got chopped beef loaded potato and beef was too sweet! The sauce they use is way sweet and ruined taste of meat. My son ordered wings and they tasted like fried in old burnt oil! When my husband told the only lady employee behind counter about the wings, her response was sorry you didn't like them. No compensation, We will not be returning nor do I recommend this place to anyone.

Smells and tastes exactly like school lunch BBQ. And like everyone else says. Rude customers. Almost worth coming here just once to see the different kind of rude you're gonna get. Cause here it seems to always be a different level of rude and different kinds of offensive comments from the staff. And the inside definitely could use some love. But it's honestly not that bad. The food is what really could use some love.
Haven't eaten here in about 20 years since I moved away. It's a Long way from when Mo and Ted started this place in a little shack on the side of the road. They were consistently ranked in the top 3 of BBQ joints in Houston back in the day. Try the Mo's spud. The inside could use a little love and the staff could be more friendly.

I ate here about 10 years ago and was not impressed and always questioned how people eat here? My dude stopped here for takeout on a whim. An action immediately regretted. Microwaved food, the burgers (the safest and by safest still gross), and water noodles posing as mac n cheese (among other disapointments). Save yourself and your stomach by keep driving.

There is some great stuff here like the potatoes and pico. Sauces was ok but there was one added a splash of hot sauce made it pretty tasty. I went in at the worst time possible and they still had brisket that was sliced. I have had much worse and paid much more for the privilege. Full disclosure i prefer a fatty slice of brisket that makes my cardiologist earn another porche payment personally. Strikes me as an great value with good food and all the comfort sides.

As you know, I proclaim to be a self proclaimed BBQ Judge. Being breed, born, and raised in Texas, I know my BBQ. I generally judge food as nasty, alright, good, delicious, or Slap Yo Momma Good. Mo's ribs are horrible, nasty, tasteless ribs. The sauce couldn't even rescue these ribs and bring the rating up from nasty to alright !!! The baked beans were barely alright, and the non mustard potato salad was a disgrace and is not True Texas potato salad. The thing that really chaps my Texas A** is Mo's false advertising on Door Dash, thus resulting in a one star review. As you can see from my pictures, on Door Dash the rib plate shows eight ribs, which look decent, but what you actually get is four ribs that are horrible, tasteless, and nasty. I know food pictures generally do not truly represent what you get, but this is totally false advertising at its best. I will never order from here again !!! I guess life is really like a box of chocolates !!! That's all I've got to say about that !!!
