It's hard to find a restaurant, and waiter, that can provide that type of service for a large group. I was impressed.”

“I’m giving this a 4 what I think you should expect. I went for sushi, so for a place that doesn’t specialize in sushi and being not in a major city it was good. Sushi was fresh and for sure satisfied my craving. The wasabi had no spice which is disappointing because I really enjoy that wasabi burn. The sashimi was sliced thicker than normal so it was kind of hard to pick up but I guess you get more bang for your buck.”

“While visiting Huntsville, TX I stopped in at Sam’s Table for some lunch. This place is one of those “Hidden Gems”…a diverse menu ranging from Tapas, Costa Rican, and American creations. I decided to try their Costa Rican Seafood plate from the main menu Appetizer/Tapas section and added a side of rice and some tortillas. I tried a Lucky 19 Bearkat Blonde ale…this is a really great beer, crisp palate, and went well with the fish plate I ordered. This seafood dish is absolutely incredible…a mix of shrimp, mussel, clams, baby shrimp, and chopped octopus. The flavors are so good and the rice complemented the dish very well. Even though this was an appetizer…it was a wonderful lunch option. This is a historical location with a beautiful patio out back and an extensive wine list. I met the owner/chef Diego Varela and told him I was very impressed with the food and service received there. Exceptional food and the service from Desiree was attentive and friendly!”

“It's a tradition for my kids and I to get IHOP for breakfast after a long road trip. Normally we have a good experience. This time, however, we did not. We arrived at about 7:30. The first half of the meal was alright, even though service was slow. Patrons of a large party began to arrive and things disintegrated from there. I asked for more coffee twice and it never arrived. It was obvious I was waiting for our check and to ask for a to-go box. Not only did our server never return, but several other servers walked by our table and completely ignored us. I waited 15 minutes before finally deciding to just go to the front and ask for my check. The managers at this location need to train their servers to serve all customers, not just those at their own tables. And the servers need to make sure all their small tables are taken care of before attending to large parties.”

They have the best guacamole and enchiladas in town, and always friendly service. It is pricey, but not ridiculously so. It is competitive. It's expensive to eat out folks. If you want Taco Bell prices go to Taco Bell, but heck even there it will cost you $20 or more for two. Just my two cents.”
