“I've heard good things about Gloria's but have never tried it myself. Today I decided to give it a go.From the outside, Gloria's looks like a fancy restaurant. Once you get inside, it's not too fancy. It's a nice casual restaurant, similar to what you'd find at a pho restaurant like Pho 95. They have outdoor patio table seating, indoor table seating, and bar seating with multiple flat screen TVs mounted on the wall playing sports. Our waitress was kind and courteous. The menus are nice. Prices are similar to what you'd find at a regular restaurant, it's not too pricy. The restaurant itself is clean and so is their bathroom. We ordered a frozen house margarita with a salt rim, a frozen mango margarita, the A la Gloria chicken enchilada, and the Tacos al Carbon with corn tortilla. We had complementary chips, salsa, and black beans. Let me tell you, for a free side, it's pretty good. The tortilla chips are good quality, not too thin, not too thick. They're crunchy. The salsa has just the right amount of kick to it, it's not too watery yet not too thick. The black beans surprised me. I'm not much of a black bean girl, I'll eat it but it's not my go to. The black bean dip tasted pretty good! It wasn't plain like your regular black bean. The A la Gloria was delicious! The chicken was nice, moist, and flavorful. My personal favorite was the queso, the red one, and then the orange one but only because I love queso. The rice was pretty good although you couldn't really taste much of it. The refried pinto beans are whatever. The Tacos al Carbon were amazing. The quality of the beef is superb. It was so flavorful, moist, just amazing. The additions to it with the guacamole and sauce added to it was just icing on the cake. The rice and beans that came with it were just like the ones on the A la Gloria enchiladas. They're nice sides but honestly not really needed. I wish they gave me more rice. The rice was barely anything. Both of the margaritas were strong. The house margarita was good. The mango margarita was like drinking a mango frozen smoothie but spiked with hella alcohol. My bill came out to be about $67 dollars for all four items. The waitress was nice enough to ask if I'd like to take home a side of salsa and black beans since she saw me take the chips to go.Definitely delicious. I would recommend. Portion sizes are just right but the chips and sides during the beginning definitely fill you up before the main course.“
“Pupusas were amazing ! Decent size! Very fulfilling! Super Flavorful! Service was great!!! Was my 1st time going and the gentleman there even suggested other plates that I will definitely be trying in the future. Atmosphere was very clean and not so busy on this Tuesday lunch time! I ordered through phone call was able to pay through text msg/online link that was sent. Highly Recommend! Hard to find good pupusas and fairly priced around here. 3pupusas and a drink less then 12$ I recommend the Rajas and chicharron More then satisfied my cravings!!!“
“"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu“
“This restaurant sells El Salvadorian cuisine. Their food is delicious. This is not a fast food restaurant. You will most likely wait at least 20 min. for your food. The food you receive will be hot and fresh and delicious. From my experience at this restaurant I never mind the wait because the food they cook tastes so good.My favorite item on the menu are the Papusas. I am a vegetarian.I choose food on their menu that don't have meat in it.“
“I ordered the chicken and spinach quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole. It was wonderful. I also enjoyed the black bean dip along with the other salsas. The service was quick, and the food came out hot. I would highly recommend Gloria's.“
“FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz••••? WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: a Salvadoran and Mexican food spot serving pupusas, tacos, burritos, and gorditas (and WAY more).? THE VIBE: typical grab and go place. They lowkey have a lunch rush so honestly I would enjoy my meal inside of here next time especially with all the good salsas to choose from!? PRICE: ~$14? WOULD I COME BACK? Yes.••••Overall Rating: 9/10- Ever since one of my old Salvadoran coworkers brought pupusas to work I’ve been obsessed and looking for a place to have them at.- Tacusa is one of those hidden gems that have locations in Fort Worth, Hurst, & Arlington that I had no idea about!- I will say these pupusas are HUGE and the ones I first had were smaller and able to carry around and eat but this one is filled with cheese and meat to the brim. This is not a light meal at all so be prepared to eat! I will even say that this one plate could feed two people.- The pupusas take longer to cook so be patient with the staff. I swear it’s worth the wait! The flavor of the chicken was spicy and flavorful. The loroco pupusa is a traditional plant that is often cooked with cheese in pupusas. It reminded me of cactus! Not really much flavor from the plant but still a good texture.- The salsas are so spicy but so flavorful and good. Rice and beans were packed with underlying flavors. My mouth is watering while I type this. This meal is decadent and filling so be prepared to eat if you try Tacusa out!“
“This spot never misses! Every time my husband and our family come, they’ve always greeted us warmly. The meat is always flavorful and tender, they got the best frijoles in the business (I don’t say that lightly coz everyone else’s beans I’ve tried thus far has been subpar) homemade tortillas BOMB! This will always be our go to local spot for Latin food.“
“It's a little space in this strip center producing great food. I tried the Shrimp, Fish and Chicken Pupusas. All of them were good. I added rice and beans on the side. The chips were good, thick, crispy and the salsa wasn't too hot to enjoy. Nice little neighborhood spot for a great meal.“
“Everything you order is prepared at the moment my favorite place to eat the dish my canton a delight the tasty rice pupusas I always enjoy the hygiene not to mention very cleanKid-friendliness: YeahWheelchair accessibility: Has enough space“
“The food, service and atmosphere were great. We had 2 jalapeño margaritas, ratones, taco salad and pupusa dinner. The margaritas were great, the ratones were stuffed with chicken, the taco salad was as big as Texas and the pupusas were delicious. The cole slaw and bean dip are worth trying before you leave, very yummy flavors. The restaurant kind of reminded us of Scarface mansion for some reason. It's pretty outdated but still fun atmosphere. This place has the COLDEST beer. We had a beer right before we left and it hit the spot. We usually do pickup but we dined in this time. It was a great time and experience. Will always be back.“
“This place is our go to spot for popusas. My husband is from El Salvador and he hit multiple spots before we finally found THE ONE. Their other items on the menu are good too. The bean are amazing and their shrimp platters and tortillas are top notch. Definitely recommend to try out.“
“Food is really good. Staff is really nice. I feel the door dash platform could be a bit more specific when ordering because I've gotten something different than what I thought I ordered when it come to the pupusas so a bit disappointing but still was delicious.“
“Food is delicious, the tacos were good tortillas look like they are hand made. The torta was decent size the taste of the pastor was incredible, the green salsa is perfect! It has a small kick of spice which allows you to enjoy your food. 9 out 10“
