“We stayed a few weeks ago for two nights. Spoke to two gentlemen that were staying there and a lady the next day. It was quiet, people were pleasant. It did have cable TV but no internet on our phones. I believe that is the carrier in the area. Peculiar thing, the area was quaint but it appeared that most of the businesses were closed down.“

The elk Burger is absolutely delicious and I love that it's a vegan based Mayo as my allergies mean it's not often I go somewhere and can just eat what they serve as is. Garden center is beautiful and inspiring with many fascinating design details - chicken coops were unreal! “Everything's homemade. Green BLT and Chicken Fried Steak were excellent. Beautiful to walk around the garden store and sitting gardens. Good menu variety with salads, sandwiches, burgers, and full entrees. There is also a bakery with cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc. Worth a stop if you are in the area.“

“The Christmas lights are awesome and very festive inside and outdoors. The food and service is always great. Last night was very busy and our food came timely with great service. Our only let down was the jazz musician did not play one Christmas song. Seems to me this would be on his playlist since is the weekend before Christmas. Oh well“

“We were there for a late lunch and my BLAT sandwich was excellent. It comes with kettle chips but I substituted a side salad and it was excellent, as well. My companion had the Chicken Avocado salad and she reported that it might have been the best salad she’d ever had. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient.“

Let me tell you, this is my new favorite cafe. The staff is friendly. I suggest the shrimp feta watermelon salad. Give this cafe a try. You will not regret it.“
