“I always love coming here! It's a great place to take family, friends, co-workers, to have birthday breakfast or lunch!There's lots of seating. However, if you go from 10-12am the place is usually filled up.The tequila almond croissant is to die for!Conchas are usually not my favorite due to them having no flavor... The seared sea scallops were one of the best I've ever had, cooked just through. The corn chowder and shrimp base was a perfect combination. Chocolate for dessert- lovely light flourless torte. Oh and their own brand of Egg Cream Liqueur with dessert.“

“Contacted the Board Couple on Sunday afternoon after finding out the hotel I had booked had zero interest in helping me. The Board Couple was closed but responded to an email almost immediately and followed up with a phone call. All Monica wanted to know was how could she help?I explained that I wanted a nice board with a bottle of good Chardonnay, 2 REAL wine glasses and a cork screw all delivered to a downtown hotel prior to my Wife and I arriving the following afternoon, Monday.. “As soon as you walk in, they make you feel like family! Small but cozy place . If a big table is available, they will ask you if it's OK to share the extra space with other patrons if they're willing as well before just sitting them down without ask first. Parking is very limited as well, but we have been lucky to get parking! It is a must place to try if you haven't tried it yet!“

“This is a slightly late review. I had a conference to cater last month. It was on Monday when the kolache stop is closed. I called and spoke to the owner to see if they would be ok to buy on Sunday, but serve the next day. After a few minutes, he told me he would coordinate so I could get them fresh Monday morning. He was too proud of his product to let them be served next day. And boy does he have a reason to be proud! Absolutely amazing. I had at least 10 people find me to ask here the kolache were from. Extremely impressed and will be a repeat costumer!PS I did have some leftover the next day...and they were still delicious ?“

“This is the place you come to for a freshly made, filling, and satisfying breakfast. Your food is made when you order it, so expect to wait. It's a little out of the way place that stays busy for a reason- the service is warm and the food feels like a home cooked meal. It's not fancy and it doesn't need to be. We had the cornbeef hash with eggs and toast, and the blueberry stuffed French toast. Enjoyed every bite and left very satisfied. We left looking forward to coming back.“

“The food was delicious. The only complaint was that my potatoes tasted a bit raw, they needed more time to cook. They were seasoned well but they needed more cooking time. Service was really good and the atmosphere was great. I will go back!“

“I am a frequent customer. My husband, kids and I like to go in on weekends to pick out some donuts, kolaches, and apple fritters before heading into town and they NEVER disappoint. Their kolaches are a great size and always taste delicious. I like to get Apple fritters to take home because theirs are the only ones that don’t taste stale by noon.“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in San Antonio!! I come here often and the coffee is always great, baristas are nice, and the prices are better than any other shop!! They also offer the biggest sizes I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop it’s great! The vibe is also super cozy and great for getting work done. “I tried this place out for the first time a few days ago... I told the lady behind the counter and she gave me a quick summary on how to order... I ordered... the drink was delish. So I went back the next day and ordered like 4 drinks... a little of evrything to try out. Found what I liked and didnt like... while waiting I checked out the place and it is very clean, there were several signs explaining the drinks as well as how to order... I didnt know that I could get my drink with no sugar all the way to extra sweet. So next time I went I was in a short line and evrybody had punchcards... im like... wtf... I ordered 4 drinks at 1 time and the dude behind the counter didnt say nothn about no punch card... at the rate im going I could have filled tht punch card tomorrow! So thats why I gave this place a 4 star review... yes just for the punch card. The service is fast with 2 people, with 1 person making the drinks and at the register its a little slower but not slow. Also, I prefer the cream smoothies to all the other different kinds of drinks on the menu.“

I ordered a regular coffee however, they get free refills. The barista even let me take a cup to go, which I like very much you can't beat that for the price.! We found this spot and it started to change my horrible morning into something good. The service was amazing chorizo migas...no greasy chorizo and perfectly crispy tortillas for the midas. The food was amazing!!!The restaurant itself is very unassuming in the bottom floor of an office building. There’s also not much to let you know that the cuisine is Korean. The drinks were bottled out of a fridge at the back of the restaurant, and they have a variety of American and Korean drinks/snacks. I saw a blue plate award hanging out near the register, too.Parking: The parking situation is a little tight and there aren’t a ton of spaces, so you may have to walk a block or two, but it’s totally worth it.“

“Kaylan at the Bread Box made ordering our grooms cake for our wedding an easy process. She made myself (the bride) feel comfortable and guided throughout the process. “First time eating here today, just passing by and ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich...actually got the F1 and the F6 (beef). They are both very delicious. The F1 is fresh and light, while the F6 is still fresh but more filling/satisfying...like if you wanted to really feel full, this sandwich gives that sensation. Overall, the cafe was very clean and tidy, and I appreciate how friendly everyone was--especially the lady who brought the food from the kitchen, she reminded me of my mom from Eastern Europe (that sort of lovely, sweet grandmotherly warmth)!
